I've often wondered if its possible to add a non reactive pigment to the etching solution to see if that would etch the pigment into the surface of the glass.

If it's non reactive, it's not gonna etch the surface of the material. That's basic chemistry.

i have always considered tagging with acid. not happening. after watching this, all the effort you go through to get it working, buying the stuff, filling pens up with it, far more agg than its worth, and like Wek says, the tags look shit!

Do you guys ever use penetrating oil inks like old raven oil (shoe ink) for inks? Do you have access to Sanford black (yellow text on bottle)? It's used for freight stamping?. It leaves the best purple stain even when cleaned with graffiti cleaning solutions. The stains are next level. Still nothing compares.

I think sodium metasilicate is a good alternative, since it has similar effect on glass.
except it is not acidic, so it is completelly safe.

this method is so much time wasting if you want eternal tags on glass...just buy/rack a few diamond lollipop shaped drill bits it cost a few bucks,break it in half and you got a nice fat calligraphy scratch tool and the tags are beautiful and forever lasting!!

Обсолютно нормально, просто пылью и грязью срется под краном промываешь и се и обратно если это сквиз если помпа просно обтираешь об более менее чистую шершавую поверхность чтоб гоано все сошло и ворс получившийся зажигалкой обпаливаешь и все новое деревянное перо я тестил еще пред релиз кислоты досих пор автобус тройка по спб с кислотой катается) с 19г))))

Такая штука лучше всего подходит для человека с невидимостью)
А вообще чуваки делают достойные вещи,это 100%.
Но,вот если бы придумали цветные чернила с такой функцией,которые бы держались как обычные,но не только по стеклу,а ещё и по другим поверхностям в добавок,хоть и не со столь сильным эффектом - было бы просто прекрасно.
Считаю,что заправа эта - подходит лучше всего для тру вандалов,которые только метро бомбят.В другом случае она не на столько крута в использовании,имхо.
Пламенный привет из Челябинска,Век.Когда тут куски появятся,или уже есть?)
Дополняю после просмотра видео : надеюсь никто не будет юзать данный айтем в метро.Хотя-бы изнутри вагона.

If you havent tried it yet skip it. As a truly save option, glue some very coarse sanding paper on the cap of your marker and scratch away, just as permanent 😉🙃 scratch pens are also great classics. Had a lot of fun with those in my subway days!
