Thanks for the video! I can relate to all tips and try to follow them. I do travel alone, though, and think the risk of getting stuck in the middle of nowhere is mitigated by the fact that when you are on your own, you are more careful and can choose your own comfort speed. I also comply with traffic rules on the road which you don't do in the video.
I sometimes do off-road tracks solo but I prefer company. It’s the easy stuff that gets you. Just had another buddy break his leg in a slow fall on our last tour.
On most of our trips someone always ends up with a flat battery in the morning. I always carry a portable jumpstart battery back with me just in case. These big adventure bikes does not like to be pushed start.
That is the vulanizing glue that came with one of the tire puncture kits and was the main reason the tire ended up holding pressure. It is not just a glue but this stuff binds the plugs with the tire material - if you are interested in more detail check out the last part of the ACT Italy video ruclips.net/video/r07BJMMljww/видео.html
Great one. I successfully failed (completed ACT Greece) on the first 4 points, but would agree with all of them 100%! One point to add (maybe obvious) would be having some kind of travel AND bike insurance.
Wow it’s been a long time my German friend I hope friends and family are all well I’m in the process of ordering a new set of tyres TKMRocks for the 1090r Looking forward to getting some miles under my belt next year
Thank you David - they are. The season came to a pretty quick end but I have 4 major tours to look back on and the biggest pile of video footage I have ever had. I hoping to get through some of the edits this winter. Also, I need to start thinking about next year's tours. I hope everything is well! cheers, Oliver
Hey bro, thanks great tips, just did my first 100km and it was fun amazing and i never knew i had muscles in my lower back 😂 what is that stra called for drinking water on the go?
@@MotoVibes dude i never thought i would get in shape because of a motorcycle 🤣🤣 can you tell me please what kind of hydration pack you using, i saw some on ali express but have no clue what is good
@@aleksandarbotic979 it’s a good enough reason for sure 😂 I use an original Camelbak - this one is super light and geared towards runners now. I have a second hydration pack from Leatt - that is the one you see in the thumbnail picture- I usually reserve this one for my „enduro outfit“ is waterproof and sturdier than the Camelbak
Thanx!
You are welcome 😉

That is indeed a good thing to have - during our West Alps Trip in 2020 we had to deal with a flat battery in the middle of the trail.
nice
Thank you!
Thanks for the video, what is the blue glue we can see at 08:30 ?
