Yes, that's awesome that you're paying attention to organizational methods at a young age. Have fun organizing! Wish I had a binder planner when I was your age. Thank you so much!
I HAVE to tell you how much I enjoyed ALL THREE OF YOUR VIDEOS!! It's rare to find videos that not only catch my attention AND keep my attention....however...I am sincere when I say that you have a very magnetic way of expressing yourself!! It's refreshing to know that my love for such things like post its and little paperclips is shared!!! I can't help it and I am teased (playfully) and misunderstood!!! I encourage you to post more videos! Blessed to have come across your channel! Lizz
Funny how having a Filo just makes things much more fun to work on. It has taken so many tweaks to get the system to a point of true efficiency, but that's one of the cool parts... being able to tweak as much as ya like! Thank goodness for binder planners. 2Do is actually launching a Mac version pretty soon. Ha I love these organize-my-filo offers. Thanks so much!
Love your filofax, that is the size I paid for on ebay but they sent me a pocket one, its nice and it will do for now but I do intend to get a bigger one x
And not even as busy as it's about to get this semester. One life, one Filofax is the motto. Something that doesn't fit in one area can be simplified in that section and expanded on in another section. Using symbols and abbreviations instead of writing word for word helps too. Always a workaround.
Love your filofax!! Love all the colour, that really caught my eye.I have a little binder with a zipper that I started using again. So far I made a list of 31 projects I want to do around the house. I took 31 pages and at the top put the tiltle of the project and then I make a list of what I need to do to complete it.I used highlighters to frame the title, and a paper clip to match the highlighter to hold little notes,I never thought to use post its! Thank you for the inspiration!! Love the videos!
I see you've tried so many fun varieties. Hands-down the most i've seen. I'm guessing you've found your fave? It seems when it comes to stylish dividers most people make their own. I haven't seen any pre-made solid color ones yet.
Hi! Thank you. Do correct me if i'm wrong, are you asking where else do I write everything down? I know all my colors and divisions by heart so it doesn't take up time. Each main section also has an empty page for it's own random notes. If I want to do serious writing for my projects I will use my computer because these here are basically just organized lists of what to get started on.
I do take my filo with me almost everywhere. It's very lightweight so the only thing that may get in the way once in a while is the thickness of it. I use Filofax paper for the notes. All my ruled/white paper is by Filofax. On the site it says the Malden personal organizer ring size is: 7/8". My calendar sections combined have about 70 pages, each of my essential sections has about 5-7 pages and my notes/extras section has about 20 pages.
Lol this week definitely. How awesome. I know what you mean, when you've found your insert match, you've found your match! I had my eyes on the FC Monticello one-page-per-day at one point regardless of its wider compact size and clashing dark blue. Sounds like you have a setup vid in store perhaps? ;)
So, I ordered a Filofax because it's that time of year again and every single planner I found was totally disappointing in some way and they're getting really expensive anyways. I figured a Filofax would let me break even in a couple years and they're much nicer to use. Anyways, I've been watching tons of the RUclips videos and yours are my absolute favorite. I think because you nerd out the same way I do! Thanks for showing your system. It's given me tons of ideas.
I just got my first filofax last week. It's a black A5 domino - SO cool. I'll definitely use some of your tips! I'm currently getting used to my filofax, but even if I got James (yes, he has a name - I'm a dork, I know, haha) just a week or so, it helped me SO much. Being at college makes it really difficult to stay on top of things. :) So thank you for your videos! :D
Okay maybe by now it has?? That's something i'd do, get a simple planner to prep myself till the wait is over. Thanks so much. Setup/vid responses are always welcome ;)
Once a week I'll process tasks for the next week: at this time I look through the reoccurring tasks on my phone / notes in my inbox area / lists in my essential sections. Everything that gets a specific date is put in my weekly section, anything that's given a specific time frame is put in my monthly planning section and items that don't have a date assigned yet (aka "someday items") are written in my essential sections.
How do you use all those tabs (subjects, projects, health etc)? Do you look at every tab every day at the evening? Do you carry your filofax with you everywhere? How much does it weight? What paper do you use for notes? What circumference of rings does your filofax have? How many pages do you have there ( about)?
Personal Maldens have 23-mm rings, as do Dominos. However, as the Malden (especially in ochre) is made of exceptionally floppy leather, it's much more 'stuffable' than the Domino.
Omg yours is by far the best organized so far. I guess it's because I understand your compartments because that is how I do it. I just ordered my Dakota FILO today. I am interested in your bill system tho.. Vid plretty please :-)
Wow! Your videos are absolutely a hoot! They're fun, informative and really well done! I love to see what folks do with their Filofaxes and your system is great. Thanks for detailing what you use (stickers, etc) and giving info on where to find them (from Target or Kcompany). I got "2Do" on your recommendation and I think it's going to be just what I need. So will you come organize my crimson Malden, lol????
Sorry, hit the send button too soon! Lol. You said you use K&Company, that's why I'm asking. Can't really tell if it's the single or double pack. Thanks a lot, and keep the vids coming!!! Hope to hear from you soon!!!
I luv your videos, they have given me so many ideas. could u please tell me what size the inserts are like the week on 2 pages and did you cut the dividers the exact same size as the paper. i am having the hardest time also with finding out the size of the malden personal filofax. every website i visit gives the measurements in cm or mm and most do not give a size at all. i want to buy it but need to know what size is it.
Filofax Personal pages are 95 mm wide by 171 mm tall, or 3.74" wide by 6.73" tall. The Personal Malden is 140 mm wide by 192 mm tall, or 5.5" wide by 7.56" tall.
Anytime! I made a color map page in my filo where I labeled which color stands for what category (which you can see in the part 1 video). Ex: Green reminds me of money: dark green = work / light green = bills Blue reminds me of home: dark blue = chores & actions / light blue = recreation I love pink and I love my projects: light pink = editing phase / dark pink = posting phase Orange is bright and reminds me of the outdoors: orange = errands & events Yellow/brown = school and purple = fitness.
Okay I gotta split this response into three parts because of the character limit. I use my tabs to organize my lists. If they're unorganized, everything becomes overwhelmingly long and cluttered and i'll hardly look at it. I like to look at certain parts of my essential sections almost everyday though I don't have to because everything that needs to be done on a specific day or time frame is already written in my actual planning sections...
Hi! Any new ideas for the coming months?? Year? I finally rec'd my personal Vintage Pink Malden, and I'm soooo in love with her!! I'm using the FC daily planning pages, and even tho they stick out (FC is wider), it doesn't bother me, I'm sooo in love! Lol! I have to admit, I've used some of your ideas, color coding etc!! I love looking at other folks to see how their setup is! Keep the vids coming!!!
Yayyyyyy....Just clicked on my UPS Tracking Link (as I have 1000 x times already) to find my Malden which was posted on the 3rd August, has FINALLY arrived in Australia....Fingers & toes crossed it arrives tomorrow otherwise I'll be hanging out for Monday....!!!!!
Hello! I love your book and it organized you are. I admire that! I could not pass .. the only problem is that I watch: do not lose much time trying to remember colors, divisions, etc. .. where you have to write things down?
More is on the way! Things feel cluttered otherwise. To keep track everything: once a week I'll process tasks for the next week by looking through the reoccurring tasks on my phone / notes in my inbox area / lists in my essential sections. Everything that gets a specific date is put in my weekly section, anything that's given a specific time frame is put in my monthly planning section and items that don't have a date assigned yet (aka "someday items") are written in my essential sections.
I sure wish they were double sided. They are single sided and I taped them together. Could use double sided tape, but I went for regular since I wanted to be able to adjust them right. I didn't have a filofax hole punch at the time so my standard punches were a bit on the wonky side. Thanks! I plan on it :-)
Hello! Thanks for the reply. My English is not very good. I ask you, ¿How you remember what color to use and where to use it? But congratulations for you planner. It's very beautiful..
I have a binder style agenda from Franklin Covey. I like how you made your own dividers I got some scrapbook paper from the same brand you showed (not solid colors) and maybe I can use then as dividers but there is something about filofax inserts or ones of similar brands soo expensive. I don't like making my own cuz I like the premade ones cuz the paper quality is better etc.
great video I've watched all the parts .. they was useful I will use some ideas from your videos in my planner it's not filofax but they will work on it sorry for if i have some language mistakes .. English isn't my first language
Yay! I was happy to see the 3rd installment to your Filofax!!! I'm loving your ideas, setup, everything!!!! I do have a question, with your dividers, are they double-sided? Or single? If single, did you glue them together? I know you said y

How big are your rings? You seem to have a lot in your Filofax. I can't fit that much in my Domino. Yours is cool. Love your ideas.
mamuchaexpress Thank you! My capture section (where I track my assignments and goals), my month at a glance section and my weekly planning sections are divided by months as seen in Part 2.
**sigh**....NO.... It hasn't arrived yet but I'm consoling myself by getting my set up ready to move straight in when it gets here....I'm using a Domino I found in a Thrift Store....I was thinking I might do a video too but realised it would be MOOT as I'm doing your set up....I might use different colour pens though....**wink**....Seriously though....Your set up does R.O.C.K....!!!!!
I really like your videos on your filofax, but my only complaint would be that you move the binder and the other things you show us so much and so close to the camera. Unfortunately this video gave me a bit of a headache I had to keep looking away and just listen for a bit. I really like this series though.
Yes, that's awesome that you're paying attention to organizational methods at a young age. Have fun organizing! Wish I had a binder planner when I was your age. Thank you so much!
I appreciate that you edit the viedo!!!!
I LOVE it! All those colors and subsections make a planner a lot more fun. That way you look forward to working with it. Great job!
Love your hand writings. So neat.
Love the way you present your videos: the beginning and end screens and little music snips.
I HAVE to tell you how much I enjoyed ALL THREE OF YOUR VIDEOS!! I love your Filofax videos! Thanks so much for sharing. :) I'm impressed at how you managed to put all 4 pens in the pen-loop!
Funny how having a Filo just makes things much more fun to work on. Your videos about filofax are the best. I enjoyed watching them very much! I hope you will continue and answer my questions.
I LOVE your filofax setup!!!!! You've got some GREAT ideas!!!! Thanks so much for sharing! I hope you make more videos!
Love your filofax, that is the size I paid for on ebay but they sent me a pocket one, its nice and it will do for now but I do intend to get a bigger one x
Super cute and compact. It's glowing! I give you a couple more weeks until it's overstuffed ;) Love your excitement for it.
And not even as busy as it's about to get this semester. One life, one Filofax is the motto. Something that doesn't fit in one area can be simplified in that section and expanded on in another section. Using symbols and abbreviations instead of writing word for word helps too. Always a workaround.
Sweet! Great feeling finding a method that sticks. Hope it works out for ya. Definitely taking note of future topics.
vow, this is brilliant, amazing system, awesome decoration!
I love ure Ideas and the fact that u don't use an A5 Filofax considering how busy ure life is and that u can fit all of it in a personal size-amazing
Love your filofax!! Love all the colour, that really caught my eye.I have a little binder with a zipper that I started using again. So far I made a list of 31 projects I want to do around the house. Hey i'd think most of these would work on just about any planner. Glad it was useful for ya!
Hm that actually might work somehow, will look into it. Thanks for that! Ah those aqua Chameleons are absolutely gorge! Have fun setting it up.
Brilliant Videos with lots of lovely info...Thank you so much for sharing with us all x

Yayyyyyyy....SO EXCITED to pop in to see you've launched Part3....Now I'm off to enjoy.... :o) !!!!!

That's just how a planner should feel! ;)
I loved your videos and left me eager to see more, that step where these
i love watching your videos you have such great ideas
Great videos, has helped me such a lot in setting up my Malden ... thank you x x

Great videos. I am also really glad you changed the battery in your smoke detector. :)

Appreciate the feedback. I'll keep that in mind. Probably not the best idea to talk so much with my hands while also holding items.
corking video.. love what you have done. tfs x
Okay maybe by now it has?? That's something i'd do, get a simple planner to prep myself till the wait is over. Thanks so much. Setup/vid responses are always welcome ;)
Glad some ideas came about!

Love your filofax! How do you track things to do when u have so many tabs of things to do? Please make more Filofax videos.
It's my pleasure! Oh the things you come up with when you're desperate to make an idea work in your planner.

Have definitely had the stationary idea down in the books. A little haul, if you will ;-)

Hello!
I love your book and it organized you are. I admire that! I could not pass .. the only problem is that I watch: do not lose much time trying to remember colors, divisions, etc. .. where you have to write things down?
I bring it with me almost everywhere. It feels pretty lightweight to me, it's just on the thick side.
More is on the way! Things feel cluttered otherwise. To keep track everything: once a week I'll process tasks for the next week by looking through the reoccurring tasks on my phone / notes in my inbox area / lists in my essential sections. I got the Mark-It Dots on Amazon. They're 1.8" diameter.
great video I've watched all the parts .. they was useful I will use some ideas from your videos in my planner it's not filofax but they will work on it
sorry for if i have some language mistakes .. English isn't my first language
Yer too cute:). Thx for the videos:). ("beautiful map, it just has to stay in there."Lol, I do the same thing!)
Definitely on the way!
Loved it!
Great to hear. It's my pleasure!
How did you cut your designer paper so neatly? It looks like you bought them that size!
Thank you!
Very nice to explain it
Hi! Love your videos! Where did you buy those Mark-it Dots? Been looking for a sheet with just green (used for marking university stuff) for ages! :D
Awesome! You're very welcome!
Love your filofax! One question: do you divide the planner into months? I'm trying to make my own planner and I love yours!
mamuchaexpress Thank you! My capture section (where I track my assignments and goals), my month at a glance section and my weekly planning sections are divided by months as seen in Part 2.
How heavy is your filo? I bring mines around with me daily but I have a compact and it'd still heavy.
Sweet! Thanks ;)
this is probably a stupid question but what size is yours?? im wanting to get one and that seems like a good size :)
No prob! Thanks.
you have nice writing
good video, thanks

Sounds good but you move so much I can't watch it! :(
Love your ideas, your voice and personality. Ths/take care emi from itsbyemi on youtube
Ah it's uncontrollable!
I really like your videos on your filofax, but my only complaint would be that you move the binder and the other things you show us so much and so close to the camera.
