Yeah hopefully they give mod creators all the tools the need to make the game amazing, as much as I hate to say it, Skyrim would’ve been a 1 and done playthrough game if it wasn’t for all the amazing mods.

Add Spellsiphon - Immersive Combat to the list. Hands down the best magic combat mod I've seen so far. And it's compatible with Wildcat and other combat overhauls, as well as custom spell mods. The XB1 version technically was released almost a year after this video was made, but it did have a Skyrim VR version since 2016.
The most essential mods for Skyrim Xbox One Edition are USSEP aka Ultimate Skyrim Special Edition Patch and TMPhoenix's Race Compatibility mod, because without them 90% of the mods out there wouldn't work in the first place. (Like literally almost every race mod requires Race Compatibility, also certain other mods like Sacrosanct, Moonlight and Better Vampires require it to interact with other mods)
I don’t think Race Compatibility is that important, as I’ve never used it myself. I guess it’s only necessary if you enjoy custom races, which I don’t. USSEP on the other hand IS essential.
Does it matter what language is the USSEP mod is in ? Like if I dont understand Spanish will there be Spanish words popping up or does it work in the background regardless of the language ?
As much as I love the look of 'JK's Skyrim - All In One'... I can't recommend it. While it does make the cities look *awesome*, it caused my game to crash numerous times. There's reports of it causing game crashes when going to Whiterun, which I can personally attest to, as well as one or two other major cities.
I had to delete it last night because I COULD NOT GET INTO WINDHELM and crashed in Whiterun often too..... I refused to accept it because I liked the mod a lot. but it was indeed Jk's Skyrim.
@@mickyuzi1622 I'm currently using Kato' mods... His mod for whiterun + the accompanying mod for trees in cities make Whiterun look full of life and nice. Just search for 'Kato' and you should find it. There's one for a few other cities/towns as well.
Forgotten Dungeons doesn't get nearly enough credit. It only uses vanilla assets so the download is tiny -- under 9 MB for the PC version. Each dungeon is unique and creative.
2 years later all the mods on the list are still there and easy to find great video really made the game better (just don’t be me and accidentally load an old save and crash your whole Xbox)
I have almost all the “Moonprince” mods. Also, may I suggest the “Legendary Vendor” mod, it adds a legendary vendor in whiterun with overpowered items and spells, but it shouldn’t feel like cheating because most things he sells are pretty expensive so it’ll just feel like a reward

Immersive Sounds - Compendium is an excellent mod that changes the feel of the game in a way I didn't expect. It does, however, add a texture to Stoneflesh & variants to look like actual stone covering your character. I'm not crazy about it, but it's manageable.
Why cant I find a lot of these mods? And for a lot of them I can only find non-english translations. For example, I could not find the original wildcat mod but i could find the Japanese translation of the mod.
@@josephhausser3096 I've found that if you search for the mod, the english version is usually just further down the line. So just keep scrolling and you should find it.
Im guessing some of these only work for xbox s and x because on the original xbox one some of these just stay in the queue of downloading like the follower mod he wont download and he requires no other download unlike the hypothermal camp which reguires the camp survival mod to be installed first.

Thanks bro, been searching Xbox One mod videos and it took a long time before I found this one. Was debating getting Skyrim at this time and mods were a big proponent of that, your video got me to get the game for a third time.
I have about half of these mods in my game. The other half I passed over. But I'm surprised you didn't mention Phenderix Magic World. Mix it with apocalypse and summermyst and you get the best magic experience possible on console.
Unique dragons and splendor is the type of thing that belongs on creation club genuinely extremely premium content and better than the dragons even bethesda themselves created absolutely outstanding mod a cut above the rest in terms of quality an absolute must for EVERYONE

I've got X360 and I want to get Legendary Edition Skyrim---but I've been told that Special Edition (with mods) is sufficiently better than Legendary to justify buying the Xbox One. My question is, for Special Edition, should brand-new players add mods at the very beginning, or only after a play-through of the regular, un-modded game? Do some mods change things so much that they "break" the game or make it too easy/unfair, like a "cheat mode" or an "alternate rules" mode? I want the best graphics and most quests & options possible, but I don't want to change things _so_ radically that it becomes a totally different/altered/weird game, if that makes sense! I just want to experience Skyrim in its fullest, best-looking form. Any advice is appreciated!

I have a hard time finding any mod that doesn’t cause whiterun to crash. It even crashes without mods.
@@Vienna. Like I posted above, I'm using Kato's mods. Haven't had a crash yet... and I use Whiterun as my main base, so I'm going there a lot.
JK’s is a large mod, that requires you to build your load order around it. I have 70ish mods (with JK’s) and have not had a single crash in 30+ hours.
One big problem I had with Beasts of Tamriel was that the enemies were insanely strong.
Ordinator...how the perk tree should have been from the start. All mods from that Author + Old Kingdom overhaul is a must imo
wildcat + frostfall + ineed = sweet new skyrim
Domt forget INeed, with that, it's not even something that exists anymore

Best thing you did I realized xbox was better since the last generation and I’m primary an xbox player since 2008 and the main reason is xbox offers mod support on a few games and they offer back words compatibility. All things PlayStation does not. Get PlayStation for the exclusives only mate

I've got X360 and I want to get Legendary Edition Skyrim---but I've been told that Special Edition (with mods) is sufficiently better than Legendary to justify buying the Xbox One. My question is, for Special Edition, should brand-new players add mods at the very beginning, or only after a play-through of the regular, un-modded game?
Do some mods change things so much that they "break" the game or make it too easy/unfair, like a "cheat mode" or an "alternate rules" mode? I want the best graphics and most quests & options possible, but I don't want to change things _so_ radically that it becomes a totally different/altered/weird game, if that makes sense! I just want to experience Skyrim in its fullest, best-looking form. Any advice is appreciated!
Special Edition is [worse] in everything. Worse graphics, less mods, worse stability. Very simple. Use my guide for Skyrim LE and be happy ;)
