@@yosimori_567 no clue if this is how it is with ksm but with USC (Unnamed SDVX Clone) you can set a custom background by doing
"bg=custom"
and for custom chart effects
"layer=custom"
this redirs USC to a folder called "custom" and thats where you can put your bg some great charts to look at that do this are "C18H27NO3" by HENTAGON or "Testify" by 《Judge χ Jury χ Executioner》
