Very well analyzed and explained by Peter D'Almeida for the common folk who do not comprehend the nitty-gritty of the issue that the country is facing currently. The potential scenario will be tax hikes, public spending cuts and austerity for at least 3 years - it'll be a really painful time for the less affluent class to weather the storm. In the meantime one would expect tourism and exports to be increased to bring in much sought after dollar revenues to the island.

There is no capitalism, socialism, liberalism or any other ism. What is there is open exploitation of the people of Sri Lanka an the nation called Sri Lanka. Why are the people so blind to this?
There's only one ism in Sri Lanka that Rajapakshasism. It may have 5 or 6 variants but the end product is just one Rajapakshasism. People believe in pseudo patriotism and that harbours for a majority.

Nowadays more RUclipsrs blaming everything under the sun so get more views and more dollars in their account. Not bad. For example sepal amarasinghe, bharatha thennakon, chapa Bandara, sl vlog etc. It has become a different mode to make a fast buck and people are there to comment accordingly.
