Yet they still feel like little, tiny penised people, so they have to invent all of these anime shows to feel tough, think about it: In western culture, we are more secure, and make more jokes about ourselves, while in these anime shows, the characters always gotta be at least one of four: mysterious, dark, serious, cute, OH! AND OF COURSE POSSES SUPERNATURAL POWERS. Even a show about martial arts or fighting, they can't leave to the awesomeness of the fighting styles they have in asia, or the beaty of a good choreographed fight scene, they have to make these "cool" characters, because they know the only people watching will be weak emos, who needs something otherworldly to feel cool about!!

That's why in the episodes after Aizen had been captured and "defeated", Ichigo then explained that he is losing his soul reaper powers, there is room for speculation that he may have not lost his hollow powers however.

What most of you got wrong about the anime is that while both Soul Reaper and Hollow powers formed in the same time IT IS NOT A RELATIONSHIP OF SYMBIOSIS.The Hollow powers actually exist as long as the Soul Reaper exist as well while the Soul Reaper power is independent.The Hollow side of Ichigo had nothing to do with Mugetsu,that was 99% of his Soul Reaper power.The remainin 1%is what got Ichigo his Fullbring and eventually his powers back.
vasto lorde ichigo vs Aizen would have been better I think, even if it was set a bit farther back and he lost, but I'm sure it would have been an amazing fight.

Well the point I was making was that Ichigo is a different case as he is half human and half shinigami. The fact of the matter is that all humans have the capability of becoming hollows, and all shinigamis have zanpakutos. Zangetsu referred to himself as a part of Ichigo's power but you can't deny that Zangetsu is also contributing to how the zanpakuto is manifested in every instance.
As for the hollow Ichigo, he's not some Vasto Lorde. He's just Ichigo's darker side who cares only for instinct, overpowering and overwhelming his enemies, ignoring injury, and has a pure need to win. Remember, all hollows have the ability to become more powerful, it's just the select few who actually get there. Also let's not forget Ichigo is a unique case, his power naturally coming from 2 different sides of the spectrum. The hollow never changed, Ichigo's state of mind did all of that.

Ichigo was unconcious when his hollow took over. I dont think you've payed attention at the times his hollow appears. His hollow only takes control when ichigo can't suppress it or if he becomes very angry

That's it in a nutshell...
He lost the powers Rukia gave him when Byakuya severed the chains that connected his soul reaper powers to his human body. This was later regained thanks to Urahara, because Ichigo has powers of his own he did not know he had. This is due to Ichigo not knowing until much later that his father is the reason he has them, which Urahara knew about all along, as did Aizen.
I'm up to 532. The info explains why Ichigo is so strange in the Bleach universe. It also tells how his father ended up in the land of the living and why the soul society didn't recognize the name Kurosaki (although Uryu should have)

That being said because Ichigo is in-fact still human, he will have both sides pulling from opposite directions. The reason it's actually Cifer is because it's supposed to be a play on words for Lucifer, hence the whole devil like look he has as well as the stabbing his hand into his enemies chests. It's supposed to be symbolic of ripping someones heart out which is a satanic ritual.

@Maurquette101 if you mean against aizen then he did win. aizens sword crumbled away and it was stated that the hyogoku didn't recognize him as it's master anymore and that the kido only activated because of ichigo.
@KingOfHalla He doesn't say he's zangetsu, he says he is getsuga, actually becoming the bladed attack itself. Nothing to do with the hollow ichigo. Sure the hollow ichigo learned how to use getsuga tenshou, but he just used it for his own purpose, doesn't make the hollow part of the attack...
Actually Zangetsu was never really a zanpakto ^_^ He became that when Ichigo accessed his shinigami heritage and borrowed power. That is why the hollow changed over time. It was originally a unique vasto lordes. That is why the stronger it got the blacker the mask became ^_^
@killzonerdemon lol yeah hence why I wrote fair in inverted commas, there are always a number of factors to take into account, you could also say Ichigo has a handicap because he hasn't been a soul reaper for hundreds of years or trained all his life to defeat hollows, so he's had to cram it all into a couple of years

@RealGateGuardian None of those indications or evidence suggests that any of that is related to his hollow side. The ONLY thing you are right about is the fact he had to "defeat" or come to terms with his hollow side, in which case Zangetsu who was actually in fact Tensa Zangetsu at the time, merged with his hollow side. But as I said, that was a part Ichigo had to show dominance to before he could use such a powerful form. Reading the manga also helps :)
I wonder how strong that Hollow form would be if his shihakushō was whole instead of only half of it remaining. With only half of his shihakushō it was commented that his Reiatsu was on par with that of a Captains, so it's possible that he is much stronger than your average, if there is such a thing, Captain. Combine that with this Hollow Form.... *shudders* Even if that isn't a Vasto Lorde form, his strength would at least have to come close to reaching that level.
@RealGateGuardian A little food for thought: Do you really think Zangetsu, who cares so much for Ichigo's well-being, would want Ichigo to learn of a power without being able to defeat his most powerful attributes in his own world? Say for example Zangetsu just gives Ichigo the ability, and Ichigo uses it, and loses his Soul Reaper powers, know what would happen? Ichigo's hollow side would roam free, and that's the end of Ichigo and everyone else.

you said it yourself Ichigo's inner hollow defeated him. Both in the litteral sense and the temporal sense hollow ichigo is a part of Ichigo therefore Ichigo defeated Ulquirorra. If you would actually pay attention to the anime youd notice that ichigo also agrees that his inner hollow is a part of himself and vice-versa
@AnnoyingUT3Player You need to rewatch them. Zangetsu tells him if he wants the power of the final getsuga he needs to pass a test, ichigo asks if he needs to fight them both, and Zangetsu tells him he needs to fight them both as one, and they merge to fight ichigo.

What I'm trying to say here is, Ichigo fucks up, is about to die, or dies... the hollow tries to take advantage. Those final episodes before the fight with Aizen, Ichigo fought with ZANGETSU and learned it FROM HIM, NOT the hollow..

@KingOfHalla He doesn't say he's zangetsu, he says he is getsuga, actually becoming the bladed attack itself. Nothing to do with the hollow ichigo. Sure the hollow ichigo learned how to use getsuga tenshou, but he just used it for his own purpose, doesn't make the hollow part of the attack...
Actually Zangetsu was never really a zanpakto ^_^ He became that when Ichigo accessed his shinigami heritage and borrowed power. That is why the hollow changed over time. It was originally a unique vasto lordes. That is why the stronger it got the blacker the mask became ^_^
@killzonerdemon lol yeah hence why I wrote fair in inverted commas, there are always a number of factors to take into account, you could also say Ichigo has a handicap because he hasn't been a soul reaper for hundreds of years or trained all his life to defeat hollows, so he's had to cram it all into a couple of years
@RazorRaiden Read the massive paragraphs I used to explain it all to the other guy, hollow Ichigo is a PART of Ichigo, it isn't Ichigo himself, Ichigo is a shinigami and he is also human, c'mon man seriously... It's all about what Ichigo chooses to be, he didn't choose to be a hollow therefore, he ain't one, the hollow is the horse he rides on, the hollow part even says that in an episode to Ichigo....

@AnnoyingUT3Player Zangetsu and the hollow are not two seperate things anymore. They were at one point but they fused together into 1 being. They are 1. They didn't seperate again after ichigo beat their fused form for the final getsuga, they stayed as one being.

@RealGateGuardian None of those indications or evidence suggests that any of that is related to his hollow side. The ONLY thing you are right about is the fact he had to "defeat" or come to terms with his hollow side, in which case Zangetsu who was actually in fact Tensa Zangetsu at the time, merged with his hollow side. But as I said, that was a part Ichigo had to show dominance to before he could use such a powerful form. Reading the manga also helps :)

I wonder how strong that Hollow form would be if his shihakushō was whole instead of only half of it remaining. With only half of his shihakushō it was commented that his Reiatsu was on par with that of a Captains, so it's possible that he is much stronger than your average, if there is such a thing, Captain. Combine that with this Hollow Form.... *shudders* Even if that isn't a Vasto Lorde form, his strength would at least have to come close to reaching that level.
@RealGateGuardian A little food for thought: Do you really think Zangetsu, who cares so much for Ichigo's well-being, would want Ichigo to learn of a power without being able to defeat his most powerful attributes in his own world? Say for example Zangetsu just gives Ichigo the ability, and Ichigo uses it, and loses his Soul Reaper powers, know what would happen? Ichigo's hollow side would roam free, and that's the end of Ichigo and everyone else.
@AnnoyingUT3Player and you're forgetting that the hollow is ichigo itself...if he merges everything inside him and understands that this is all him...even the blade...he can than use the final getsouga tencho form...and the final getsugatencho...so basically Ichigo did defeat Ulquiorra by himself...

And if that was the case, when learning it, Zangetsu wouldn't have fused with Hichigo, and when Ichigo used the FGT, then Hichigo would have stayed inside of him, and Ichigo coulda have still used his reaper powers instead of learning Fullbring.
you said it yourself Ichigo's inner hollow defeated him. Both in the litteral sense and the temporal sense hollow ichigo is a part of Ichigo therefore Ichigo defeated Ulquirorra. If you would actually pay attention to the anime youd notice that ichigo also agrees that his inner hollow is a part of himself and vice-versa
@AnnoyingUT3Player You need to rewatch them. Zangetsu tells him if he wants the power of the final getsuga he needs to pass a test, ichigo asks if he needs to fight them both, and Zangetsu tells him he needs to fight them both as one, and they merge to fight ichigo.
in the recent manga chapter zangestu is really ichigos quincy half and had taken form of the quincy king from 1000 years ago

@uchiharyuuka34 The only time the hollow took control, was when Ichigo did not do as zangetsu wished, as most zanpaktou have a mind and will of thier own, the master of that zanpaktou in order to wield it's power is to have some sort of connection with theirs etc... What I'm trying to say here is, Ichigo fucks up, is about to die, or dies... the hollow tries to take advantage. Those final episodes before the fight with Aizen, Ichigo fought with ZANGETSU and learned it FROM HIM, NOT the hollow..
