Silverstone GP Race Edit | CSCC Tin Tops 26th Feb. 2023 | Peugeot 206 Gti 180

Round 1 of CSCC Tin Tops took place around the GP layout of Silverstone on Sunday February 26th. This was a very early start to the season but the weather, albeit cold, was perfect conditions for race!
The grid was a combination of Tin Tops, Turbo Tin Tops, Puma Cup and RX-8's. I qualified P11 of the 52 runners and 1st in class, in the new TB2 'French Single Throttle Body" class which was a result.
Lap 1 I dropped to 2nd place only to grab back the lead on lap 2 with a move into Stowe. I had to aggressively block down the Wellington Straight to maintain the lead and then build a gap before the pit stop.
This is where the race unravelled unfortunately. You'll have to watch the video to find out why! But we won't make that mistake again.
I finished P2 in class and P13 overall - unlucky for some!
