staggered setup on a fwd and puts the wider tires on the rear. wrf is bro on
Solid video man. Deff needs a clutch. Not sure you need arp head studs. J series heads dont have lifting issues. As far as the thermostat, its golden. Some tuners dont like it and some will say its not necessary but i have it and its comes in clutch on 90+ degree, extra humid days. Havent seen a negative to it. Keep them vids coming!

Definitely the clutch slipping, and coolant temps are way colder than they need to be.

why you put the 285 on the rear ? The stock wheels fits 255 should of gotta new tires would of been more beneficial

those tires are 320 treadwear.. of course they're not gonna hold.. gonna need some 200 treadwear tires

Get a thermostatic oil cooler, like Mishimoto, that uses an oil filter sandwich adapter with a built-in thermostat. I wouldn’t even bother with a lower thermostat, but that’s me personally. I forget if Honda/Acura fans can be tuned at certain power levels or certain oil/engine temperatures.
As for the clutch, I highly recommend a Stage 2 clutch at the very very minimum; but most likely, a Stage 3+ clutch is what you need, if you’re gonna be driving it hard occasionally. I would replace the clutch master and slave cylinder if they’re old, and also run stainless steel clutch lines. Run a good performance DOT 4 brake fluid, with a dry boiling point of at least 520 F+.
Idk if you’re going to upgrade the trans or not, but you should do the rear main seal and new OEM synchronizers if so. If you have money, get Synchrotech carbon fiber lined synchronizers, and/or the 4th gear brace from P2R.

Lighter wheels= less rotational strain on acceleration & deceleration
Might be the clutch, don’t hear the tires slipping unless the mic ain’t picking it up .
get a stage 4 clutch for that setup minimum, your clutch aint holding bro. and also doesnt help when your tires are also on the wrong rotation as well but those tires are not meant for that you need 200 treadwear tire for sure to stick, even my kseries turbo doesnt stick on 300+ tread wear and let alone 200treadwear
