I still remember Tokyo Olympics in sixtees where center forward Balbir Singh scored one goal against Pakistan in hockey
and we won a gold..medal

The government has spent 70lakh on Vinesh. She was provided everything that she demanded. Coach, physio, nutritionist, sparring partner everything was Vinesh phogat choice. She trained in budpest which was completely funded by GoI by tax payers money, total money spent on athletes is 470crs the highest amount ever but still we got only 5 bronze and a silver, like prakash Padukone said athletes must be held accountable and they have to show more responsibility as GoI has fully backed every single person and left no room for excuses. Vinesh is responsible for her own disqualification, she must be held responsible. Vinesh has always fought in the 53 kg category, this time she lost in the trail so she fought in the 50kg category through her influence and the protest helped her as people were afraid to refuse her thinking she might make an issue out of it as well. She competed in the 50kg category dispite being overweight and defeated Shivani from MP who was the actual contender. People sympathetic with Vinesh must realise that she stole Shivani's spot. There is a harayana wrestlers lobby that dictates things in Indian wrestlering. One of there demands during the protest was direct selection to olympics trail without participating in the national trails. Indian sports is rigged and biased. These people don't care about olympic medal, all they want is to win the nationals because then they get govt jobs under sports quota. The harayana lobby exploits this scheme and has a strong hold. Brij Bhushan said that national trails is compulsory whoever it maybe, the harayana players didn't like it as they wanted direct entry into olympic trails which was the basis of the protest. The sexual assault case is true or not the court will decide. Recently in TN vs Bihar kabbadi game also the judges where in favour of Bihar but still our TN girls won. I am not trying to create a north south divide but mostly the system is biased in favour of north players as winning national ensures a govt job.
