    I recommend using thin metal tubing to cover the threads - just a thought. Cleaner look.

    Thanks. Tight to the wall to prevent wiggling. I've got 8 ft,
    I'm using PVC pipe which can flex enough to follow the van's wall shape

    Are you covering two windows per panel? Also, would you please provide the measurements of a panel?

    Where ya'll at ?
    Just stumbled across your channel and I'm trying to fix up a short 1999 E350 7.3 turbo into my full time home. I'm getting a ton of negative reactions to this. I'm just wondering how to ignore all the negative.
    Thanks

      We didn't get a ton of negative reactions. Just a lot of "cool... good luck!" or "that is so awesome." We live in the PNW so people are pretty open to alternative forms of living.

    Don’t you have air conditioning?

    • @ColaVentures
      @ColaVentures  6 лет назад +1

      We do! But we don't like to run it all day and suck down our batteries.

      We have a 32 foot toy hauler and our living quarters and garage is all the same area. So we have a lot to cool down and only one air-conditioner so what we do to keep it fairly tolerable and there is get a roll of that silver reflective insulation, it kind a looks like bubble wrap with foil around it, And cut it out to go inside our window area and that keeps a lot of the heat out. And our vents on our roof we put in the rigid foam and that keeps a lot of the heat out also. Then we run a fan to help circulate the air coming out of the air-conditioner. Keeps it pretty nice in there.

      I forgot to mention, I love your bus build.

  • @calvinwing3552

    Sorry but your curtains just don’t do anything for us. Get some style. Use window film to add insulation and even a spray on tinting will greatly improve your solar transfer issues. Then use clip style curtain rings so that you can open up the curtain and have a view! Also there are less expensive tubing options than copper. It looks cool but with the way it’s covered up you loose the visual effect.
    Here’s the thing. You’ve got a great effect with the wood ceiling but the slab curtains look low rent next to the wood.
