Meditating on the exultant I am run with chills in my spine. It is a story of Gods love for humanity. As it is sung ' to ransom a slave you gave away your son' .
Thank you so much for this beautiful version of the Exsultet. This Vigil will be my first time singing this. This will help me tremendously I am sure. God Bless you, all.
Karl. Thank you for this moving rendition of the Easter Exultet. I had the choice trying to sing it myself in our community Mass. Everyone was happy (and relieved) when I played your voice using blue tooth! Happy Easter. May the Risen Jesus bring our earth healing and lead us to make appropriate changes when Corona is history.
This is the most beautiful prayer of the Easter Vigil and gives hope to all. Your singing of the Exultet with the playing of the guitar was very moving indeed. Thank you for praying the Exultet.
Karl, this version of the Exultet is exquisite! The poetry of the translation is very moving, and the guitar chords add a soft loveliness to that longed for moment before the newly lit Paschal candle. Is this piece published and can I get a copy that includes guitar chords? I grieve over our loss of this moment this year and want to capture it again, perhaps in a prayer service on ZOOM.
Very prayerful and tender. Please tell me where I can access the score for your version of the Exsultet. I have gone to your website and while I see all your music listed I'm scratching my head trying to figure out how to order a copy of your composition for voice and guitar. Thanks for sharing your beautiful gift.
Hi, I used your you tube video and a couple others to learn the chant for our Easter vigil service, Thank-you for posting it. I have a question. I taped myself singing the chant and put my own photographs to it. I am getting a copyright infringement? Did you have the same issue? Thanks, God bless,
This is from the Catholic mass that is celebrated at the Easter Vigil. It is an English translation, which is used in many Catholic churches in America, since most masses are now celebrated in the vernacular, rather than in Latin. If you don't care for the American accent, you need not listen to it.
Hi Titus. I created an MP3 of the Exsultet which you can freely download from my website (on the bottom of the Recordings page). www.k4communications.com

I applied the same tune to my language and chanted, it was beautiful😊
Learnt the exultet from this channel, now I'm the only one who chants it at our parish

Exquisite. Is it possible to get the sheet music?
The music is found in any full copy of the Roman Missal.

@@AnnInFL There are basically 2 chords in the Exultet - Em and Am from what I can hear and I have been playing guitar for 50 years.

That's strange. This ancient hymn should be in the public domain...
I thought so. I can dispute it but wanted to check what you thought. I have only posted a few things. Thanks for responding.God bless, Norrie
Where do we buy thus version?
the guitar killed the solemnity, but apart from that the exsultet beautiful!
The gay guitar ruins it
True
Agreed
The guitar enhanced the singing of the Exultet.
I think the guitar was solemn and lovely. The guitar can also provide support for the singing if needed.
The guitar was a Beautiful accompaniment to the chant.
Why chant this with the horrible american accent? This is a latin text.
Not everyone one can chant the Exultet and Karl has the beautiful voice to do it.
