Mint vid Ger!!! Another great insight into the world of tillage and it's workings from a spraying point of view!! The 28 is looking "mahoosive" lad..... would love to spend a day in her pottering about with the roller hi!!! Stay safe ol stock and sure "we'll see ya on the next one" ya!!!!!
Maurice Cahill thanks M. Well it’s an idea of using it hopefully, looking forward to seeing the 28 in action myself. Gone from driveling it everyday ton not driving it in 6 months. Be nice to get it back in action.
That's a fine sprayer and lovely job hooking it up!! The castors are a great job!! Get a pair of long armed nitrile gloves though and keep them in chemical store just for spraying.
Bambinohead1 I have a pair and hate wearing them 😂 I know I should. Castors are the only job.... I wana get set for the fertliser spreader. It’s a bitch to hook up on the pallet
Awesome video mate.... Could you do a bit more of a run down on the taps at the side please ( Fill, Empty, Agitator etc) & some of the inside cab AMAZONE controls ( Boom, Speed, Auto etc)
Robert Paterson when filling it draws it from the incoming water. If full then it then draws it from the main tank. Yea their well designed. Built strong.
Nice video Gerry. You lost me after the green hookup. 🤣🤣🤣 What were all those bottles you put into the sprayer, different types of weeds, I'm guessing. 😉👍👍👍👍👍
Neusa C yes, couple for weeds, Disease on the plant and also an insecticide as there is a fly that will attack it too. Too many sprays if you ask me. Their probably one of the reasons so many of us get cancer.
That's That's a realy nicely thought out sprayer 👍. I've got on to using induction nozzles, he'll of a difference from standards I've found. Every time you mention the 2850 I remember how little I've still done to my old girl 😂
😂I know! I've bought half of the new mudguards, then rear lights and light holder... I'm trying to not let it run away as i'm getting like a magpie... shiny stuff!
To take chemicals from induction hopper. The top lever must be returning (pointing)to the tank. Position the lever on bottom of the induction bowl pointing out. Remember to close that lever when bowl is empty. Very simple I’ll do video over next few days
Great vid Gerry I love watching you driving on the roads with the tractor
Sean O'Donnell thanks Sean

Having a fill pump is handy too in that Ibcs can stay on the ground.
Would you not need gates going into the field would animals or any thing wander into the crop great video as usual
Der C well all our fields have gates except this one. As it’s located in town there isn’t any animals near it. So never needed gates
Great weather for the tillage
James O Brien it’s great for all field work at the minute. Hope fully it lasts

How old is the sprayer Gerry, looks a fine bit of kit. Was it water you were filling from the ibc tank?
Shane Donnellan sprayer was bought new in 2015. Yes was filling from IBC tank
Nice looking crop there. How many l/ha were you applying?
IG agri usually 240 ltrs per ha
Does it have flow rate control? can you input your litres per ha in the monitor and speed up and down your kph and it would alter the flow?
John O Neill no have that on the fertliser spreader. Didn’t bother with it on sprayer.
