Hi, thank you for the video! Someone from the shop removed the both sides of the rubber from the rack when they removed the snow rack from the over roof rack, and now I cannot put the shorter side back in. Do you have any suggestions on how to put it back in place? Thank you!
Hello. Only one specific side is intended to be temporally removed, the opposite side is a semi-permanent press fit, to reinstall this side will require more effort and patience. Use soapy water to lubricate the rubber while pressing the it back into the slot. Thanks!
I installed using the speed link mount just now. However I installed it with the tightening knobs facing the rear of my vehicle, whereas you have it opposite with them mounted facing the front. Does that make a difference? Should I change it before using?
Hello. Not a safety issue, but from an aerodynamic stand point, and to for ease of cleaning (bugs) it's best to have the knobs forward. Thanks for checking!
great video and better understand the two different mounting methods ... i have the snowpack extender in black and have already installed the black wingbar evo's .... thanks again !
The Snowpack will sit approximately 5 1/2 inches above the crossbars. Both mounting options are included. You can use either the Thule Speedlink mounting hardware or the T-Track inserts depending on the type of crossbars you have.
It looks like the snowpack extender only comes with 4 locks. When using the universal mounting system, do you only need 2 (so the other 2 can be used on the actual rack), or will you need to use all 4? If we use all 4 for the mounting system, does that mean the actual rack itself won't lock then?
The spacing for the T-track on the Rhino canopy may be slightly different. It would be best that you stop by you nearest location to try this out. Our locations can the found at the following link: www.rackattack.com/stores/
Hello. The SnowPack Extender includes SpeedLink crossbar mounting hardware which will allow fitment on most factory crossbars. Please check our fit guide to confirm a specific vehicle based on year, make and model. Thanks! www.rackattack.com/wizard/
Lmao that was me too but unfortunately in my group of friends I’m the only one with AWD so I’m the one driving everyone up to the mountain, and I can only force them to me crammed in my back seat with skis poking in between them for so long

@@rackattack Thank you, much obliged…
Great work 👍👍
Thank you so much 😀

For the 92725, does it matter if the Speed Link tightening knobs are facing forward or rear?
Hello. The knobs should face forward, it offers better aerodynamics. Thanks!
How do you add a spacer to extend the height with the Speedlink mounting system with factory roof rails to prevent bindings from rubbing the roof?
Hello, thanks for checking...no, spacers are not an option for Speedlink hardware.
What is the distance from the top of the cross bar to the top of the rack? Also does the universal mounting hardware come with it?
The Snowpack will sit approximately 5 1/2 inches above the crossbars. Both mounting options are included. You can use either the Thule Speedlink mounting hardware or the T-Track inserts depending on the type of crossbars you have.
does the universal speed mount work with the Thule square bar rack ?
Hello. Yes, the SpeedLink hardware works equally well on the Thule SquareBar systems. Thanks.
It looks like the snowpack extender only comes with 4 locks. When using the universal mounting system, do you only need 2 (so the other 2 can be used on the actual rack), or will you need to use all 4? If we use all 4 for the mounting system, does that mean the actual rack itself won't lock then?
Use one lock per closure, and just one per each carrier’s universal mount.
Will the T track be able to fit onto a rhino canopy roof rack on its own or does one have to have the thule wingbar ?

would this work with toyota rav4's oem roof rack cross bars? Or do I need thule cross bars?

Thank you sir
All the best
Is there an easy way to remove the locking mechanism out of the rack once you've put it in place?
If you have the rack unlocked and the change/removal key, it is a pretty straight forward process to remove the cylinders.
does the cross bar gotta be the same brand, as the snowboard rack? or any crossbar will fit?
The universal hardware that is included will allow fitment to a wide selection of crossbars
Rack Outfitters okay thank you. So if I install a rhino crossbar. But I want Thule snowboard racks it will work?
@@camacdav000 Yes, the Thule SpeedLink hardware fits the Vortex crossbars.
Yeah never mind I think I’ll just keep throwing my stuff in the trunk with the seats down

For a product with so few parts I can’t believe how terrible their instructions are.
Hello. Hopefully this video was a helpful supplement to the manufacture's instructions. Thanks!
