I saw a matinee of this production with Gary Beach and Robert Goulet...what a marvellous production that was..sooo much better than tbe tacky most recent revival...altough Goulet was wooden and sang only on the money notes a lot was forgiven for Beach was obviously happy after Davis had left and he was spectacularly good!
So true!!! My husband loved the Nanny so he wanted to meet Mr.Davis. what a bastard he was to everybody. He heard me say ass@#$##!!!! We cracked up at his expression. Gary Beach was such a doll!!! May he rest in Peace. The cast wanted him out!!!!

I disagree with you about the 2010 Revival of La Cage!!! Douglas Hodge was magnificent!!!!!!!! Best Zaza ever!!!!!

I stagedoored the second preview and Daniel wasn’t very nice. So I’m not shocked he was fired
