Glad to see someone get into FFDP finally. Great band, best of the currents in my opinion. Turned on to by sister what was married to a marine who had PTSD after going to Iraq two times and killed himself, killed part of her soul and those of their children who have all turned out to be great people dispite this hole.

This song reminds me of lying in a hospital bed in Germany waiting for my next surgery to replace 22%. Of my skull. My thoughts were either for GOD to take me or to help me be strong enough to learn how to walk again. It was a long year and music helped me stay sane. Thank you both.

@@biffie186 My favorite album of newish Maiden. The Longest Day is one of my most favorite songs from them. The imagery Bruce displays with the lyrics is almost unmatched in this song.

US Army veteran here. If I may offer a suggestion for another review. As a massive 5FDP fan myself, check out Meet the Monster. I would also suggest Way of the Fist, Got Your Six, War is the Answer. There is literally no shortage of 5FDP songs to review.

As a person who was abused by both parent’s growing up, it’s a song that i can relate to on a personal level. It never goes away and I’m in my 50’s now. Even had the anger issues in my younger years. They are much maligned in the metal community because they’re sort of formulaic, once you listen to full albums, but I personally think they do what they do just fine. After the emotional gut-punch that was the Illumination Theory reaction, a song like this picks me right back up and makes me want to mosh. Just don’t listen to the FFDP haters (of which there are many). Just like with movies, not everything can or should be Schindler’s List. Sometimes, you just wanna eat some popcorn and watch Transformers.

Thanks for watching our backs and the size & speed of the Steel Request Train. As you can imagine, the request list is, in all honesty, monstrous. It's 40 pages long in Excel. We aren't even printing it out anymore at this point. lololol All we can do is keep chipping away a little at it each day. We know it is a vorcasious pace that we are holding but as you say, there is A LOT to cover lololololol and I have a ton of catch up to do. We posted 19 reactions on Saturday and 16 last night so that should keep our metal natives quiet for a day or so. :)
Not to worry though, we are keeping track of how each other is doing and feeling in terms of fatigue and energy levels several times each day. We are aware that getting burned out is a HUGE possibility so we are making sure to take care to stay present with that.
We love being here with all of you watching the channel grow organically and getting to know all of you.

We want both! We want to keep the music flowing and join in the mall creep. That is too funny by the way… We’re finding our groove. Will probably settle on eight to ten per day for a while and might do a change of clothes, but only if we start tearing them off each other during the videos or between takes.
