I cant stop listening to this song it makes me cry and make me fall in love.
The other photo under his door is from the girl that left. She also said goodbye by slipping the photo under the door instead of saying goodbye to him face-to-face. Hence, to show the meaning of the story they showed both photos in one shot. One is an unrequited love between the man and the lady who works at the hotel. Then the other is between him and the ex-gf who leaves. She is sad for leaving him, he is sad for being left, and she is sad for sorta seeing rejection.

@wowcoolgirl idk if u still care but the start of the vid u can hear a man and a woman's voice chorusing "i can't return to you. without me, you'll be fine right?" i take it that those words are by the lead guy for his ex-girlfriend, the girl that works in the resort. the female voice is the girl who plays his love interest in this mv. the one who eventually leaves him and stood up his proposal.

I love this song although I don't know Korean at all. I heard Mi's version from Secret Garden and search it online and came across this version. Thanks for the English lyric. I finally understand the meaning. Such a sad song and story. I still don't quite understand the mv fully, but thanks for all the explanations regarding the mv. Reading them help me make more sense of the mv. 4MEN voice is so emotional and touching.

I think that the guy also works at the hotel and his ex-gf came to see him. But for some reason she decides to leave and is super sad (maybe the narration in the beginning is by her?). At the same time, the lady who also works at the hotel who likes him decides to forget him (I think) so she leaves the photo with the words under his door. You can see her walking away from his room door going to the lobby and then she sees the other girl leaving.

why cant there be English songs as touching as this? i dont find it cheesy just beautiful :') seriously i think the americans and british have just gone for too much of the dance music and auto tune stuff that they forget it could be stripped away and made emotional with music like this and im not just talking about korean songs but other countries and youtubers =P
@wowcoolgirl two girls are in love with that guy. he's in love with the one that met him in the beginning and that other girl has an unrequited love for him. the couple spends some time together after being apart for so long and i guess the girl just realized that they didn't have much in common anymore. the guy was going to propose to her, but she stood him up. the other girl saw her leave and was crying because she loved him and was sad that the girl he loves, walked out on him....

Okay, so the guy works at the Hotel and there's this girl he liked and she comes back with the suitcase and stuff.They have history--thats why they have the picture together and stuff. BUT there's this other girl that works at the hotel too and she likes the guy but the guy likes this girl with the suitcase. and in the end, the girl he had history with leaves him and she's sad. the guy made a dinner plan and he's alone so he's sad. and the last girl is sad because theguy doesnt like her.

after watching it a few times..it seems as the guy also worked in the hotel with that girl that was in love with him, that's why he was in the suit and his ex came back and he was still in love with her cuz he was still wearing the ring and she had the ring around her neck..they tried again, but i guess she chose to leave again like the first time cuz she wasn't ready for marriage or maybe she felt that their relationship just wasn't the same because she had left him b4 (like a wall btwn them)

the MV is sorta confusing...is it that the girl liked him? but he likes another person? then when the shots of him with the birthday cake is in the future? when he realises the person he loves is gone? but you dont need to understand what is going on, to understand the pain and tears behind this beautiful song

I'm confused but I think the guy had a thing with the the girl that worked at the hotel and then one of his former girlfriends came and they hung out and stuff and the girl who worked at the hotel misunderstood and thought that he liked his former gf but he didnt he liked her and then former gf realizes he won't ever love her so she leaves. In my point of view, the guy was in a relationship with the girl2 before he came to work at this hotel. And they promised blah blah blah... and then when the guy works here, he meets the girl1 and then being in a relationship with her(live together in the hotel). But when the girl2 surprisingly visits him, then all of his old memories comes back-->that's mean the guy is still love the girl2 but he just misunderstood that he could get over the girl2 already. ...and then the story begins... :/

but i think the hotel girl like that guy, so she put some stuff (letter+pic) at the other girl door to make her think that his bf is having an affair... so the girl think that the guy cheated on her & left...meanwhile, the guy love the girl & want to propose..unfortunately, the girl already gone :( poor the cute guy :'(
