One of the things I love about SEVENTEEN is every album they release, Carats (SEVENTEEN's fans) don't know what's next. But every genre, they'll kill it! They are heavily involved from producing the albums even the line up & nitty-gritty in their choreographies & concerts! As Wonwoo said, they were given Self-producing Idol title because they self-produce. SEVENTEEN don't self-produce to earn the title.

The entire song was inspired by the big brass bands of the 40s. God I love that sound. Broadway uses that sound heavily which is why it reminds you of Hamilton. I think the Newsies is probably a more accurate comparison though lol.
