OMG at 0:48 my life journey passed before my eyes and i was taken in an astral adjacent journey beyond the 74th moon of the Plaides subssystem of the galactic core. I think im ok now.
Could you please search for, and find, footage taken of John Ewbank climbing Collossus on DogFace, near Katoomba, in 1969.... please... Footage was taken for sports program of the day...
Theres a massive pinnacle hust like this on nsw south coast, northern end of jervis bay headland, it was a pinnacle just like this but came straight up out of the water, its about 50m from rocks out in water. Pretty sure it was called bee croft point. But northern headland of jervis bay which is massive and at northern end of that its there. Fished around it,,
Love seeing bold lads with old gear having a good time. Epic swims! Now a days climbers would freak out. "Where's my cams and modern gear?" Great production. Good piece of visual climbing history. 🏆
Thats not true, the candle stick still exists and can still be climbed today. This was taken in 1975, with sea levels rising at a mere 3.2mm a year which means even with the current rise in sea level the candlestick would only be 10cm lower below sea level than it was in 1975 !! There is a big difference in having a landmark being "completely submerged" and the sea level rising 10cm. Take you fear mongering elsewhere moron.
@@rogerspable Honestly didn't expect it to be satire considering this is ABC youtube. If you are making a mockery of climate change loonies then i see the comedic value.
Bring back those awesome epileptic fit inducing transitions, ABC!
Wouldn’t believe this only had 10k views, what a fantastic film!
This old footage you guys have posted is just amazing glimpses into the past and how entertaining it was even 50 years ago maybe way more authentic
4:28 That is so incredibly dangerous! 😱 Brave man!
The song at the start is so good
The name of the route is "ABC-route"
Grade (australian) 18. About 5c-6a in french grade.
Fantastic content

Someone knows what song has been used at 15:27 ?
im not sure of the song title, but it sounds like "the little river band" with glen shorrick singing
It sounds like it was written specifically for this film based on lyrics.
The Guess Who, perhaps?
4:50... talk about action adventure.
