AI stocks will dominate 2024. Why I prefer NVIDIA is that they are better placed to maintain long term growth potential, and provide a platform for other AI companies. I know someone who has made more than 200% from NVIDIA. I'll also take any other recommendations you make.
I believe the next major breakthrough will be in A.I. For sustained growth similar to META, it's crucial to avoid making impulsive decisions based on short-term market fluctuations. Instead, prioritize patience and maintain a long-term perspective. Consider seeking financial advisory services to make informed buying and selling decisions.
In a similar situation, I sought advice from a financial advisor. By restructuring my portfolio and diversifying with good ETFs, the S&P 500, and growth stocks, I was able to grow my portfolio from $200,000 to over $800,000 in just a few years.

Robo advisors can be a better alternative for many people who still want help managing their investments, but want to pay less in fees than traditional advisors charge.

That's a valid concern. However, A.I. can analyze vast amounts of data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions faster than humans. It's not a replacement for human judgment but a complementary tool.
I agree. My financial advisor uses A.I.-powered tools to optimize my portfolio. With their expert guidance, I've grown my investments from $200,000 to over $800,000 in just a few years.
Not necessarily. A.I. can diversify your portfolio efficiently, but it's the expert guidance of a seasoned financial advisor that ensures strategic alignment with your goals. They leverage A.I.'s analytical power to optimize investments, striking the perfect balance between technology and human oversight, as seen in my own success where my advisor's expertise combined with A.I.'s capabilities has driven remarkable growth.

Investing in the S & P or Total Market index funds is the same at $1O or $1,000,000. The beauty is that it does not require a financial advisor or a robo advisor. Boglehead is the way!
I think it could be great, because it will be able to see and understand variables the best humans cant. But id rather it make suggestions rather than be to simply just make trades by its self. But theres always a possibility it malfunctions, or gets hacked. Then what? However, ai wont have any nefarious intentions, like trying to steal your money. Unless whiever made it, orogrammed it to do so. So idk. Id expect to see AI heavily regulated in the financial world once it starts to really make a difference.
It's the stupidest thing you could do. The computer *does not* understand what you tell it. It's simply trying to predict the most likely next word based on it's training data.
With all due respect……. just by nature, and organically, the investment banks have been running AI for nearly 20 years. They have been manipulating the markets and get on the band wagon now before it’s regulated.
I actually did an experiment between the Robo-advisor vs a human-managed mutual fund. In Jan., 2018, I opened up each account and deposited $50,000 into each of them. As of yesterday (07/03/24), I have $103,790.69 in my Robo-advisor acct. and $103,420.45. in my mutual fund . The management fee for the Robo-advisor is 0.25% vs 0.75% for mutual fund.
Why would you not use it to manage more . And use it to start out that doesn’t make sense? Starting out the risk is greater as one stands to lose more due to have less. I would think that using it when one has made a significant amount. Why would you tell people starting out it’s good to use. Yet not when one establishes more revenue? Doesn’t make sense Dave.
It's more about how much money you feel comfortable in letting a robo advisor manage, that's what he's referring to. You can use a robo advisors as a small account, and it is really good. I have a robo advisor and it's amazing. Obviously, not financial advice
It’s crazy to think so it works like robots lol who trust those things is nuts I can’t understand how they would let someone let them use the system and get away with it. Has to be a scam or something lol 😂 not Dave’s thing
Most of the time its just an algorithm. Human advisors look at the data and invest accordingly. Robo advisors do the same thing, it just takes forever to program it. But once it's done, it'll work just as well for simple advising. I think Dave is spot on here for the average investor.
