SuA is so strict about the hierarchy, but when she explained why on Idol Picnic, it did make sense. I respect it!
She's not that "strict" lmao people overplay how strict Sua is all the time. Her thoughts and reactions are 100% normal and understandable from a Korean perspective. People need to stop seeing it from a Western perspective and understand the difference in culture.
Besides, its not like Sua is the only one who takes exception to it? She just plays into it more (because thats how she is lmao)
@ringadinga4782 I'm sure she has a typical response to people younger than her speaking informally. I didn't mean to imply it was excessive. I'm well aware idols play things up for entertainment purposes. I'm referring to her explaining why she wouldn't be okay with dropping honorifics within the group because I found the perspective interesting
SuA's reactions to being spoken to informally always make me crack up and is my reminder that Dreamcatcher is blessed with two moms 🤣
5:40 Honestly, I do mostly use their stage names, but I think that's partially because for the longest time, so did _they,_ even in private. Apparently they established early on to call each other by their stage names all the time, presumably to train themselves so they didn't slip up in public. Nowadays, though, they use them pretty interchangeably.

I often will say Minji and Bora, but for some reason Dami will only be Dami in my eyes!

So now the next video must be “Jiu & Sua being Dreamcatcher’s parents” since insomnicsy also have a video 😎 for me I mostly use Minji and Bora and just sometimes Yubin, I think that’s the common thing in general from what I have been seen
it's so funny to watch the difference between sua reacting when dami and handong speak informally to her vs yoohyeon and gahyeon. she has clear favourites
it depends on which member if we use the real name or not haha! it’s also different for everyone and what they’re used to. this is the way i call them:
- jiu : minji (her real name)
- sua : bora (her real name)
- siyeon well it’s her name already😂
- handong : dongie
- yoohyeon is already her name too
- dami: dami (idk why i NEVER call her yubin)
- and gahyeon is her real name too
it's always so weird to me when somnies call jiu minji or sua bora but refuse/denounce yubin for dami as if dami isn't called yubin/yubinnie by not only the other members but also other idols in the industry she's friends with. jiu's own parents don't even call her minji lol
@@xitsCASS i don’t REFUSE to call dami, yubin☠️ why are you mad? i just said i never do it because i’m used to calling her dami everytime.. it’s not like i’m gonna see her in person anyway so why does it matter.. you need to breathe for a second☠️
Tbh i use their stage names. Thats the part they share with us and i dont see why i would consider myself close enough to them to use their real names. I dont know them irl so.
