zayn is mainly a pop rnb artist, he does a lot of sounds but mainly most of his albums are rnb with some south east influence. His music video and songs are always quality. You should check out more of him
I had to watch the music video multiple times to realize the significance of the interrogation scene. In the scene “homies are pissed off” stands for one direction and how they were upset about his decision to leave the band. “Eyes on you everywhere” stands for how publicized the whole ordeal was and how everyone was waiting to see what he would do next. “Mud on the streets” stands for how he was treated and how nobody liked him for his decisions. “You don’t know me” signified how until recent years nobody knew how the band or him was treated and how he was slowly suffering by continuing to be in the band.
@@p3rS3 I’m not completely sure it was just a wild guess, it could’ve stood for anyone but I can’t think of anyone else maybe management but I doubt he would call management ‘homies’ considering how bad they were treated.
The light in the suitcase reminded me of Pulp Fiction! Very cool detail, as Tarantino also wrote the screenplay for the From Dusk Till Dawn movie (1996) 😎
So glad you liked it!!! If you want to do another vid, he has such great ones but you should do the song he just dropped Love Like This, and then maybe work your way back
Zayn is an underrated artist. Loved your analysis & glad you liked his voice. He’s got an incredible discography.. would like you to react to Sour Diesel by him, it’s an outstanding song (vocally) with a fun/action/ superhero music video too!
yeap! This is one of my fave videos ever its better that some movies around and Yeap Zayn is amazing his voice is unique thanks for reacting to his videos... you have to react to more of them i mean any one direction boys are so cools and so talented
Love the reaction/analysis! You’re great!! I was eagerly waiting for this one. Zayn’s music videos are top tier. Fun fact: Zayn creates all the storyline and concepts for his MV himself.
Quick note: don’t get too excited to find out what’s inside the suitcase, because we’ve been waiting to see what’s inside that freaking suitcase for years now 😆
Okay, but how did u manage to not hear this song???!!! Like it used to play on radio like every 20 minutes and still is played on radio... I can not comprehend the fact that it's 5 years old simultaneously feels like yesterday and 10 years
The director of his MV was Marc webb (the amazing Spider-Man director) Zayn always like to tell a story in his music videos they always look like cinematography mvs would love to see your reaction to Entertainer mv that's connected to Let Me and Dusk till dawn storyline
Thanks so much for reacting to this mv! Loved everything you said. The love Zayn speaks of in all of his songs is what draws me to Zayn. The true love. How him and his lover are undercover and on the run. In the speaking part, you were right, he was talking about his 1D experience. Simon was mad he left and Zayn was blacklisted. But Zayn has held his own and keeps coming out stronger. The briefcase with gold inside 👀 fun fact, Zayn and Harry both have songs named GOLDEN and also SHE 😊💚💛
Exactly… he keeps asking, do you know the significance of this… that… if I could message him off of here, could clear up… he doesn’t deserve the fall out “on here”… ☺️ @jbmotivatedmama623
I don't know if you will react to this but his high note is more or less 30 seconds long which extends to 30 more seconds of high falsetto in the acoustic version. So check that out sometime maybe, great reaction btw very informative
That asian influence you mention at the begining is definetly there, Zayn is half pakistani himself and he always tries and incofporate his culture into his art (there's also parts in some of his songs where he sings in hindi/urdu and he's done Bollywood covers)
His Sour Diesel music video is also just amazing, also cinematic feel, entertaining and a little unsettling even)) Satisfaction is also amazing, such a beautiful heartwrenching video. These 2 songs and Dusk till Dawn are my favourite songs by him. Highly recommended, both videos and songs :)
Think you'll find Louis Tomlinson Directors Cut MV similar in themes of a boss man that's controling and angry, similarly refecting their experiences and treatment from management while in 1D
Spoilers! Long explanation of the theme/s throughout the 4 vids. Zayn likes multiple meanings so on the surface the vids are about his and a girl's fight for her freedom by him trading with something precious (his vocal abilities/art/career/good name) that he has -and which they eventually get back in the last video of the series, Sour Diesel. The woman could be an actual love interest who he has sacrificed for, but she could also represent his love of music/his inner self worth/his fans which he traded off while in the band and which prompted his leaving. In the series of vids the "girl" is shown to have her own strength and saves him multiple times as well as him fighting for her to get away from the "dirty" side of the music industry, the consequences of his anxiety and/or the drawbacks of fame. He had to use different actresses but has Easter eggs to connect the vids. The story starts here with DtD and next in Let Me the vid begins with a snippet of the Dusk till Dawn song and he is in the same shirt and pants. At the end of Let Me it says "to be continued" and they set off on a boat, a scene that is shown on a TV in the Entertainer vid (which is more of a flashback video). The beginning of Sour Diesel has the prize finally on display. But the OG bad guy from the previous vids is promptly killed off and there is the reveal of the real final boss (anxiety/bad public opinion/poor self worth/sleazy music industry) who has to be defeated to get back that precious trade item everyone has been fighting for since the beginning in DtD. At the end they survive, together, he burns it all down and doesn't look back. They walk away from his past, his old career, his old name-which he changed to just be Zayn, his fears, his anxiety, toxic fandoms etc. An overall great take on his career at that point and the cutthroat music industry as well as fame, all hidden in a love story.
Think many don't pick up the photo in the police file the police woman looked at is the hand of one of the guys following Zayn. You see his hands near the start when Zayn started to walk, its has dots on his hand. Showing Zayn's hands its a double thing, love angle with female & showing viewers police looking for the other guy
While I really, really dislike the audio for any of the fight scenes in this vid series, I was thoroughly impressed at the concept and the amount of work put into this 4 part idea. As all his videos have hidden meanings I sometimes wonder if there is a thread of connectivity beyond these 4 vids and that Zayn has an even bigger concept which includes all his vids. For instance "Flames", "Better" and "Love like this" could fit into this series too. Hmmmm... Is there a theme of new beginnings after leaving a bad past (and of being watched, or eyes, or being the observer) in ALL his vids?!?!? Possibly 😂 Anyway, I like hearing the production perspective. You mention things I don't actively notice because I don't know enough about all that goes on. I used to watch Supernatural for instance and LOVED the feel of it for the first few seasons. But then it just stopped being as good visually and I couldn't really explain why. Found out the OG main director had died and he was a genius with lighting. Looking forward to learning more.
I prefer the other angle. The composition seemed cleaner, as your background and the table didn’t distract as much. I also liked the purple, darker lighting (for example in the Taylor Swift “The Man” reaction). It was moodier and looked really nice, but that is very subjective cherry-picking. It looks great either way! @@Videoeditorreacts
zayn is perfection will forever love that man
The firecracker pay-off is everything! Zayn's voice is so addictive. Insane talent.

agree Sour Diesel!

Love this guy. His music is ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Zayn is British and Pakistani so a lot of his songs have that South Asian influence.
He is not Pakistani. He was born in Britain. So he is only British. You should learn about dual citizenship.
@@arafatahmef7138 you can be ethnically Pakistani as well, which he is from his father.
