Thank you for posting this! I'm currently working on a case reed build and was trying to figure out how to make a flat surface for the reed block. Using a cut section of bar stock and superglue to keep both halves flat is a genius idea! I'm curious to see how much more power this setup generates vs. the cylinder reed/windowed piston setup.

It still rips great to this day, chexk case Reed wheelie vid, when the pipe hits she lifts like an rm 80, bottom end power is nothing special but nor would an rm 80 stuck in 4th gear, pulls about the same. I rip the shit outta that bike too and she held out strong have not blown it yet, burned up the clutch recently and thats about it.

If you do manage to give it a nice decent amount of horsepower let me say 10 or 12 horses, the bottom and will stress out just because of that. Screw you mailed out and eliminated. You could’ve made a spacer that fits perfectly between the wedges and then drilled out your screws holes and tap them.

I am sorry I don't follow what your saying, your right lots more stress on parts...I bought quality crank bearings, and upper con rod bearings and run good ipone oil, I ripped the shit outta this setup and still have it working great, besides I finally burned up the clutch. 5:06

There is a better way ive seen done where the flow is directed just above the crank webs below the the base gasket, but this setup still works great, j still run it hard today
