I was really skeptical about picking up any blaster in this lineup, but if Hasbro is making this the new standard I might as well go ahead and jump buy one.
Maybe I've drunk the kool aid, but these seem... reasonable. For a first time blaster purchase (say, buying for a kid who just turned old enough), these are an attractive option. Most of the blasters come with extra darts (and for the ones that don't, 20 darts is just $5), hit harder than Elite (but not by too much), and are easy to load and prime ('though can't say for sure until all of the blasters have reviews out). The darts are less expensive than elites (~25 cents a dart, vs ~50 c/dart), and are accurate enough for across a living room or backyard. And for someone in the hobby, having visually distinct blasters with "simpler" color schemes, that use differently sized darts, could help differentiate between "kid" and "adult", "at home" and "game day", or "low cap" and "high cap" blasters, adding some additional safety when messing around with kids, a partner, or a roommate. If we can find a suitable barrel material and mod them to hit the 110s with usable accuracy, they would work well for HVZ and low fps cap games. I can see these becoming the new standard "low velocity" dart type, so long as Hasbro makes enough darts and blasters, and (eventually) licenses the dart geometry to other manufacturers. Otherwise, the incompatibility with the ubiquitous standard length .50s may just cremate their market share, leaving N series, and maybe Nerf itself, along the wayside like Ultra and Hyper. As for me, who already has tons of normal and half darts, I'll likely buy a Ward and some darts ($13-$15, a minute investment) just to mess around with, akin to what I did with rival.
idk if this new blaster can compete in ASEAN market 😅 while Vilainator and Turbo Advance (including those two reskins) the 40-ammo capacity still a hard market for hasbro here.
Just chugging that Kool-aid? Lol😉. I am joking of course, but honestly I don't think this blaster would be awful as an hvz blaster, especially with how easy it is to reload
Kinda wish it had slam fire... still a really innovative "mag" design, and I like the aesthetics of this line. Hope the darts perform somewhat well at superstock velocities... the community might see a use for them if that's the case.
👋🏽😺✌🏽Peace Brother! Thank you for all of your insight. I look forward to the rest of your reviews on the N series. Our community out here in Brooklyn is growing nicely and the user friendly ( Dummy Proof ) aspect certainly has an appeal to add this line to our community collection however I don’t think we could afford to do it. Through thrifting, discount hunting and donations we’ve stacked a pretty large collection of Blasters / Darts that we’re able to scale upwards to grow with our community as they get more involved with the Hobby. I don’t think that we’d be able to purchase N Series Blasters + a new ammo type to fit our needs. Personally, I’ll have to wait to see how this plays out before we make the investment.✌🏽
It is a definitely goal of mine to visit New York/Brooklyn in the next year or so, and when I do, reach out so I can make it to one of your games and hang out! I can probably also bring you some decent blasters to add to the club haha!
A visit from you would be awesome 🙏 @@maritimefoam if you're able to plan it with enough time, I would encourage you to come out while United Nerf Ops is having one of their events..it'll be a Great time 😺🤙!!!!!!!
Picked up a mirage recently, my first blaster in years, and i was shocked by the punch it had, even a bit nervous. Getting used to it, i like it, but in the back of my mind cant help but think that its too much for kids. Kids dont look at age ratings and definitely dont wear the eye protection they should. These hitting lighter as the new main line series is good in my view 90's and into the 100's is whats desired by modders and hobbyists, but these are for kids first and foremost
Great video!… my 7 years old got one this Christmas and he wants to know about the bottom in the back of the rail in the orange area… do you know what is it for?
It’s sad they did all that work for very lil increase in accuracy. The blasters look good and seem well made and priced well but honestly the lack of reliable accuracy will keep me from buying my boys any. I’d rather get them adventure force blasters that can hit targets
It’s not a terrible blaster but a Villainator is cheaper, performs better in every way, and is compatible with all your old darts. So I don’t see much of a reason for anyone to go out and buy these new blasters.
Villainator is difficult for a lot of 8+ kids to prime, agree it performs well, but I also always found after firing a bunch of rounds the impact would cause darts in the drum to unseat. I actually talk about the villianator in my review of this.
Uh, this is showing for $40 Canadian on Amazon.ca?!
www.amazon.ca/Infinite-Blaster-Compatible-Blasters-Battle/dp/B0CSLJB9M5/ref=sr_1_6
Performance, accuracy and DRM aside, The Infinite and its mag system are killer concepts
I like it. As we use standard darts in Japan I hope these do well here as they fit our CQB game style and hopefully the darts have a longer life.
Looks like a great blaster for ages 8 and up! Thank you for the video!
You bet!
I just got my Ward, and I am actually really impressed. Good job Hasbro! I am going to pick up two more and mod one of them.
I was really skeptical about picking up any blaster in this lineup, but if Hasbro is making this the new standard I might as well go ahead and jump buy one.
You can always try the 2 shot Ward for like 5 bucks US!
I just ordered the $5 one, I'm interested in trying it out
Maritimefoam is a great youtube channel. i love your commitment to the hobby!
Thank you!
Cool video
i totally agree with you, glasses are a must have. :)

I do love a balanced comment! totally get everything you're saying here for concerns too.
Great review my friend! Oh no we need to make no flip/flip thingis 😅
hahaha, always a new project!

I had a few swigs! But I’m excited! What can I say? I’m an 8+ kid at heart! :)
This looks like if Nerf created an EZ-fire like Buzzbee. Looks good.

Modders and hobbyists want 150-200 generally ha. But high 80’s and 90 is plenty for the 8+ line I agree :)
Is this blaster a sealed breech, with an actual barrel?
It actually is, that is something I will have to make a short on :)
I need a leedle dynamics corsair that fires n1 darts.
Haha, yes!
Great video!… my 7 years old got one this Christmas and he wants to know about the bottom in the back of the rail in the orange area… do you know what is it for?
Hmmm, not sure where you mean, I’ll dig out an infinite to look!

Did Hasbro tell you if they're going to sell those chainmags separately?
They were coy about it :)
Cool video’s do not stop with this

The nice thing about the chainmag is that you can have a couple on you a lot easier than a round drum
ill block any content abut it
I mean… feel free?
i wont buy into another hasbro ecco system no matter the hype
the whole n serires will fail its the same shit ulltra/ hyper bs no one cares the hobby chose a 1/2 dart .. talons nerf can nerf off
Okey doke!
