The reason this club(in particular) sells everything from football jerseys to grass is because it's not owned by rich private corporate owners.Their administration consider tourism as a big source of income after tv broadcasting money & sponsorship deals. Since they have become so popular around the world, their brand name sells even if it's grass.
I done the tour back in 2013 but yeah it’s always busy even in the winter when I went. The trophy room is insane but yeah the pitch and everything else was just meh. Probably just how touristy it is but a place to visit for any football fan!

I went on this tour last summer when Arsenal played in pre season there. I enjoyed showing myself around the stadium as they were in no rush to get you from one area to the other. One major disappointment was not seeing the home changing room. I opted for the VR experience and it felt as if I was walking along the halls with Messi and Suarez, I started to feel funny when the VR then went to the very top of the stadium! The tours got busier as the day went on, I recommend going early. I went wearing my Arsenal top which the staff were fine with. Fully agree on them trying to make money in every way possible, I ended up buying a photo album of photos of me holding up a Barca scarf, a Lionel Messi shirt and having my arms crossed.
Yeah, it's a total money grab and it totally gets busier as the day goes on. Overall, it's okay - but it's certainly not one of the best ones I've seen.
Yeah buying grass would seem a bit weird for many I agree😅But I and many other hardcore Barcelona fans would really really love to buy grass from Camp Nou where so many historical matches have been held, even more so now that the old camp nou is no more and is being renovated. And other clubs do this too. Love your videos btw❤
Yes I have, I just need to get to Germany first! I've already been to the RheinEnergie Stadion to do the Winter Game (which you can find on my channel) - but the Allianz Arena would be my stadium of choice to visit, for sure!
They use to have a tour guide , I visited in the 2000s held the champion league trophie when the guard went for a toilet the trophie looked like it had ash inside it , wow it's gone so expensive
I was there may 1999....to see us lift the UCL .......best day of my life(except for the children being born) ....sheringham and solskjear.....last minute goals.....Munich were the better side....and on 88 mins we were getting ready to leave.....and then...well we know the rest

Yeah - fair point. Compared to somewhere like Romania, the Camp Nou must have been like a cathedral in comparison. It's still a pretty cool stadium though.

Thanks! Watch out because they charge for absolutely everything! If you do the basic tour and don't pay for anything else, it's fine. If you pay for a bit more stuff it's still okay. You'd have to be a HUGE Barcelona fan to fork out €150 to do absolutely everything though. In my opinion, it's a bit of a gyp.

I went there in 2003, then it was only the museum and the view from the stand that you also visited. Here they tried to sell pictures where you "stand next" to Michael Laudrup, huuuge for a dane. :-)

Yeah, they try to upsell you a lot. Absolutely. But for the sheer SIZE of the tour, price, the fact it's self-guided... it's hands down the best tour imo. Done it a few times, never paid for extras, and spent almost a full day every time. I love it. My favourite part is not being rushed. Ignore the tourists, take your time, take in all the history and the views. Might have been an addition since you went but there's a cool "media" section where you can watch a ton of clips etc.
What do you mean Messi is a God HERE? Messi is a God in general. You probably didn't like the tour but a game there with the packed stadium is worth it (albeit a bit expensive). I was there at Iniesta's farewell game and when they beat United 3-0 😉
