I can easily be jealous or envious, and it happend twice that my feelings toward them becomes a bit negative. However it doesn't last long, because once we talk or text, even for like 1 minute, I just realise how stupid I am lol And when I'm jealous, it's more like I'm angry at myself for not doing better, I don't resent them for their sucess. Jeannie used a great example, of someone losing their job, or having financial struggles, while you're planning a vacation to some far away land. For Tamar, it seems (from pass comments she's made to Jeannie) that she either envies Jeannie's sunny disposition and her ability to let negative comments roll off her or Jeanie's natural ability to navigate the world of fashion and reinvent herself frequently (think Tamar's fashion mishaps she got dragged for).

Everyone who's in counseling isn't "in trouble" in their marriage, some folks are just going to get a third ear to help problems from becoming missiles in their relationship. Freddie and Jeannie are people who have traveling careers where Freddie has to actually go out into the wilderness for his own show and hunt animals and Jeannie travels across the globe for appearances and to shoot shows on different continents. Not to mention, Jeanie herself has said, even though no one in the viewership has listened, that Freddie is content with them NOT having kids, but it's her who feels like she's letting them down. Likewise, there are many folks who are married, but have a fictional boo/type in their head. Hence, those women who are soccer moms and married to average joes, but fantasize about Hollywood actors. You should put the time and effort in being a good friend, romantic partner/spouse, sibling, parent, child, co-worker, etc. People act like when you are married with children nothing else matters. I absolutely love Jeanie's heart and I completely understand where she's coming from. Tamar's defensive wall is up SO HIGH, she wouldn't dare give anyone a chance who's not team her all the time. That's just not realistic. Sometimes, like Jeanie said, ppl go through periods in their life where they're dealing with things and their reaction to you may come off a certain way, but it doesn't mean they're not your friend. It takes a mature and compassionate person to understand that, hey how about asking them what's up!?! And not throwing the person away at the first sign of what appears to be jealousy. If they're truly a friend you'll find out. Kudos to you Jeanie Mai. DO YOU and never let ANYONE make you feel bad for having the heart you have!

I get what Jeannie is saying. it's not always cut and dry! It's not always, simply, "she a hater!" Sometimes there's deeper issues. Jeannie used a great example, of someone losing their job, or having financial struggles, while you're planning a vacation to some far away land. That feeling of jealousy, or envy doesn't mean the person is a terrible person or terrible friend. They're human.
i love jeanie. she is being real, not every friend is on the same level as you, and some friends hit rough patches but that does not mean im going to shun them off and say they are jealous when in fact its up to me to guide and help that friend. Tamar is coming off so selfish.
I agree with Jeanie. If you have a friend going through a tough time, you would want to try your best to help. If that is really your friend, you would let them know that what they said made you feel uncomfortable and you would like to know where that comment is coming from.
I had several jealous friends in school , sometimes they were they like why did you get a better grade than me or they would be like where did you get that shirt or sweater? and also they would be like where did you get that new outfit or where did you get that new lunch bag ? its like my friends were constantly jealous of me and it was terrible sometimes we would get revenge get even at each other . But later in the school day we would apologize for whatever we did and we would make up like what Adrienne would have done . I think Adrienne is really beautiful way to go cheetah girl and tamera is beautiful too and Tamera is really amazing on Sister Sister and also on Twitches ! Tamera if you are listening , I am your number one fan and I want you do know that I love you so very much you are so awesome.

Exactly and I understood what Tamar and Loni were trying to say. Jeannie tries to hard, you are not throwing something in someone's face if you say you had a nice vacation, if they are ur friend they may wanna hear about it even though they may be wistful or sad they cant do the same. I mean why should I not enjoy my vacation as was the example here and want to share it. Saying things like I dont know what that's like is petty as hell. I should not be ashamed of doing things and having things. I am that friend who may see all her other friends doing greater things but i am right there for them I wanna see pics hear stories etc because I know one day my turn is going to come.
I love Tamar and I agree with her she was tryna tell Jeannie right, by stop thinkin everybody is your friend cuz that's simply not true, but I'm the baby sister and my older sister shades me a lot and I cant stand it so I definitely kno how Jeannie felt.
In one way I understand where Jeanie is coming from,I use to be like that but those same people tried to tear my life apart to make their life better ,now I know tamar was right,keep your jealousy and destroy yourself,leave me and my happy life alone!!
if you’re negatively jealous/envious of a friend you’re clearly not a real friend idc. you should be happy for your friends and want them to have the best.
