the 1st time i watchd griffing playing. i knew it hes gona make it to the top.hes my next star after lebron. (lebron griffin and carter) Gods of dunks...
With Blake Griffin, Eric Gordon, Al Thornton, and DeAndre Jordan the clippers will have a bright future. I just hope we can get D-Wade or hopefully Amare. I also believe we should get rid of B Dizzle and get a pass first point guard. I don't believe Baron fits well within coach dumb's offensive system, hopefully in the 2010 draft we'll get lucky and get a great Pg. We'll see time will tell
The Bulls have two first round picks this year. They have money to spend and are in the top three in the NBA in attendance every year. Package the picks and move up for Griffin, sign a player like Bosh or Wade in 2010 to play alongside Rose and the Bulls dominate for the next ten years.
be interesting to see how he transitions into the NBA. where every1 is strong, fast and smart basketballers. i'm definately looking foward to it (shame he's at the clipps tho...ANYWHERE but the clippers lol)
@edgarflores10 he plays a diff position but he is better than any power forward right now and only a half season he runs the floor well, rebounds, dribbles like a guard, and is a double double waiting to happen basically every game
Intensity hs nothing to do with danger. I love both sports but basketball is more intense because you are running basically non-stop, playing offense and defense, the court is smaller and things happen a lot quicker. Football is slower and happens play by play. They're different, that's all.
would that be nice? al thornton, blake griffin, eric gordon, baron davis.. clips should have a new coach and center(they should develop Deandre to be a good post player & focus on rebound)...
@edgarflores10 u never know. He's playing very well as a rookie in the NBA and he's around 21 years old and he's playing amazing. He might catch be as good as lebron and maybe as good as kobe.
It'll be a gamble if the Los Angeles, Clippers pick him because he had too many injuries. The knee which he had surgery on last years, and one time head concussion. I don't know if he can play his fully 100% in the NBA. The NBA is much rougher than college basketball. I suggest the clippers picke some out of high school like Lebron.
im a kings fan 2 from the bahamas and i think we should get blake because the nba is about rebounding and defending and that is what the kings lack you can always get a point guard because even pau was not that good when he came 2 the nba or his brother marc so there for the kings should not pass up on this guy.just slide jason thompson over 2 the 3 position and let blake and spencer bang on that front line
this guy is the real deal.. if he goes with the lakers.. he will improve tremendously. clippers.. ehh. he's good. but if he's in like lakers, or boston.. he will improve coz he has good players like kobe pau, or pierce garnett to guide him through. if he lands in clippers... whos he got to mentor him on court? i know he's good.. but look at dwight.. his mentor was patrick ewing. in lakers, andrew mentor was kareem.. clippers.. i don't know much.
My point is that while Blake is very talented and I hope he becomes a star, he won't ever have Lebron's abilities (nobody now does for God's sake). I watched this kid for two years at OU and would never compare him to Lebron. I never remember him even dunking over someone that was taller than him. I would maybe compare him to Duncan or Howard (especially Howard because Blake can't make a free throws either) on down the line, but not the King.
sometimes time can change things, yes even the perennial loser clippers, olowokandi was picked based on his size, and raw mobility but never really had the skills to begin with. Also dont forget, their GM is gone who was to blame also for the bad picks. But if you look at those picks the clippers was going big but knowing they don't really have skills, and just hope they will add skills to that raw size, Griffin is different, he built his skills from the group up, and he is undeniably athletic
He's like a mini Amare Stoudemire, hopefully he won't be a bust like Greg Oden. But the truth is Oden had a lot more hype, and for a Power Forward a lot of Small Forwards outweigh him, most notably LeBron James.
well you obviously didnt get my point.. im just sayin guy, in clippers.. who is he gna look up to in terms of improving his game? theres no one else in there thats a real leader.. now why i brought up lakers and boston is that, those kinda teams are surrounded with leaders like pierce garnett ray and kobe and fisher. rookies improve coz they're surrounded with leaders.. a great example is rondo, and shannon brown. they've improve tremendously coz those leaders tell the Dos and dont's.
thats what they said about baron davis :P. Dont get me wrong, baron davis is one of my top 10 favorite players, but he messed up big when he left golden state. Blake Griffin deserves a better Baron Davis.
@masterdelrap LMAO!! Well actually he does not look white, he looks mixed to me...it dont really matter anyway he is a very good player and very exciting to watch!!
Yeah, Nash has two MVP trophies that prove otherwise. Out of all the people watching the NBA, you're the only one who thought that Amare was the person that made that team go. Amare is a little guy compared to a real 4, he's not a banger. Griffin has a much bigger body than Amare, and a much more well-rounded game than Amare did at the age of 20. That's why Amare barely cracked the lottery, and it's a foregone conclusion that BG will be chosen #1 overall.
maybe Amare "made Nash look good" in 2005/2006, where Amare was injured for the whole season, but Nash still won MVP and led the Suns to the Westren Finals?
the dude has incredible strength and athleticism, his dunks are breath taking and his moves r sick, hes gonna be great in the future
You were right

Intensity hs nothing to do with danger. I love both sports but basketball is more intense because you are running basically non-stop, playing offense and defense, the court is smaller and things happen a lot quicker. Football is slower and happens play by play. They're different, that's all.

hehe blake has a crazy vertical and is a super athlete, but at 0:24 seriously hes barely let go of the rim and hes on the ground.
It'll be a gamble if the Los Angeles, Clippers pick him because he had too many injuries. The knee which he had surgery on last years, and one time head concussion. @TheEaglesfanindc I knew him in highschool when he played our team
You must be from Oklahoma like me
Come home Blake
Less talk, more dunk
The guy at 2:16 was like " I already know whats going to heppen so half five in advance"
Anyone have a highlight video of him playing defense? Oh wait...
kings need him!!!!
@awisrippin I don't think he's overrated when it comes to his game moves. But ya, the dunk contest wasn't too impressive.
My point is that while Blake is very talented and I hope he becomes a star, he won't ever have Lebron's abilities (nobody now does for God's sake). I watched this kid for two years at OU and would never compare him to Lebron. I never remember him even dunking over someone that was taller than him.

just pause this at 2:16 thats crazy them bros can jummmp

What's stopping you?
young blake reminds me of shawn kemp! there is only one shawn kemp, blake if you are reading this don't blow it like he did young man!
0:6 0:13 0:20 0:27 1:21 2:11 2:18 2:29 2:36 are dunks.

I enjoy watching him play
thats what they said about baron davis :P. Dont get me wrong, baron davis is one of my top 10 favorite players, but he messed up big when he left golden state. Blake Griffin deserves a better Baron Davis.

maybe Amare "made Nash look good" in 2005/2006, where Amare was injured for the whole season, but Nash still won MVP and led the Suns to the Westren Finals?
