This is such a stunning lace edging pattern💖Thank you so so much for sharing this , iknitwithcatfur.
I am busy knitting a triangular shawl for my mother. And this lace edging would look perfect for it.
You are awesome! Have a wonderful weekend and I hope all is well with you and your family.

❤OMG ! This is so beautiful! I love it. I can use this in so many ways. And you show it with continental stitch?! 🎉I’m starting a sample right now. Thank you so much for this tutorial. If you have any more hidden gems of lace, please include for future tutorials.

It is from an old newspaper. I mention in the blog post for this stitch that it likely came from a late 1800's newspaper out of New York; I have a lot of lace stitches saved from old newspapers, but unfortunately, when I printed this pattern out, the name and date of the newspaper didn't show so I am not certain.

Very pretty. Where would you use it?

I would use it on shawls, but you can use it anywhere you'd like - the bottom of a sweater, knit with fine yarn to trim a pillowcase or guest towel, the bottom of a skirt, etc.

Is there a specific multiple of stitches, or just odd multiple?

    • @iknitwithcatfur

It is worked on 15 stitches, and you knit until the edging is as long as you need it to be.
