I've had this on repeat since it got released, and I keep thinking about this one guy that I met once... and I don't even know his name. The story goes like this... Back in March, I was doing volunteer work and I didn't feel like talking to anyone (I just wanted to get my work done and leave). There was a group of military guys who were voluntold, so they were on the same volunteering shift as me. They all knew each other so they were in their own group and I was alone. I saw one of the guys talking to his friend and they kept looking back at me. At the corner of my eye, I see the guy start to walk towards me, but he becomes hesitant, starts to walk back to where he was coming from, but then walks straight to me and says, "Hey, I saw you were alone and I didn't want you to be lonely." I was very hesitant to talk to him, as if he was dared to talk to me or something. But we ended up talking for the four hours we were together, and it felt like I've known him forever. I fell in love with his heart and soul sooooo quickly... and at the end of it all, I left so fast before he could get to me because I didn't want his friends to see if he was talking to me (to save his reputation). I never got his name, and I regret my insecurities ruining opportunities. I still pray to God about him (7 months, 13 days later), hoping we will cross paths again, but a part of me thinks it's time to let go... How could I fall in love with a stranger? 💔 But this song makes me feel... something. It's better than being numb or feeling nothing at all. So, thank you.
