This song really helps. I spent my childhood listening to my mom sing this in the church or just making dinner. Love the lyrics and the meaning, its a shame because I'm kind of falling out of the love of Christian music 'cause all the lyrics are the same: Jesus loves me or you. This was my theme song for 2011. I like to say I tripped over my tongue and did myself an injury. It may have eventually, indirectly led to a job loss. I was devastated. About the time I lost my job I had a kidney stone. It was not a good time. But God brought me a new job and it has led to new opportunities. I can't say I am grateful for the job loss, or the stone yet, but I am sure grateful for all that he has brought into my life since then. God is GOOD!
@number1goat Depression has been a constant battle with me. It's never been severe, but I did go a bit crazy. Functioning with everyday things was tougher than ever and still can be. I was drowned out from happiness. But instead of fighting the battle on my own, i cried out to God for Him to hear me, and i felt Him. His hand was on my shoulder reminding me He was always with me. Depression left me in ruins and ashes, but God lifted me from the rubble and freed me. I'll pray for you!
