Actually since you mention some coaster fans helping out the accuracy I can confirm some things. The New Revolution is a family coaster irl so its not meant to be much. The Deja'Vu Revenge doesnt really exist. Deja'vu is a giant boomerang coaster irl but planet coaster makes it hard to recreate those. "X" is now called X2 and has a red and black paint job. Full throttle is suppose to have a reverse launch that isnt too fast. superman has a drop tower attached to the side called "Lex Luthor Drop of Doom". Bonus riddlerrevenge is a stand up coaster. batman is short cause it was b&m's first ever inverted coaster. there are multiple copies of that layout. The blue and orange coaster is just called "Scream". The orange and light blue one is called Goliath. The blue and green hybrid is Twisted Colossus and yes it goes around twice irl. the tracks duel eachother. I think I covered most of the things in this video. I couldn't find Brother Lee sadly XD P.S can't wait for Vampire spotlight.
and Apocalypse is not like in real life, it has other type of trains and the track is more intense and longer :) it also goes under the exit which gives a cool element, which is really cool :) and The Revolution is the oldest coaster with an inversion!
TheFre1509 very true but the dam woodies die out to fast in the game so I just kinda put it together in like 10 min half assed it,I'm so disappointed with the classic woodies and there momentum the speed dies really fast so I couldn't finish the rest of the track :/
Man some of these comments are down right mean. Of course you do realize this is a video game with limitations and setbacks. This is a really good recreation. I'd love to see some of you all's park creations for those of you down talking his work. Great work Brother Lee!
cant win them all most of he people commenting dont play pc so they dont know the limitations of the game so they just type the first thing they see wrong
NOTE!: So, for some reason between recording to hand-braking the footage, the frames per second dipped a bit, and quality dropped a bit a tad. Not sure what I did differently this time. I will look into this better for future episodes! Hopefully you guys don't mind the length of this one. Next time we will do a 2 part if it goes this long! Thanks for watching!
The layout here is SPOT ON. I'm a L.A. native and have been to Magic Mountain hundreds of times, and I'm blessed with Photographic Memory. And, whoever made this, also has a photographic memory because EVERYTHING is in the right spot. Literally everything. This is incredible.
@39:38....When it first opened back in 1972 The Jet Steam originally had two boasts race down that double drop, that's why it has that extra side, but now the second drop is used for water to flow out of a fountain.
It's not even close. Yeah maybe the coasters but the actual terrain is horrible. Where the tatsu and ninja are is suppose to be on a big mountain. The X2 has the wrong color scheme and it had the wrong name. Full Throttle was backwards
Thanks man I got workshop item of the week no Doubt because of your awesome video !! I'm glad people are liking this I know this would not be perfect from the start and people hold this park too high standards if it's going to be rebuilt but I did it anyways thanks for showcasing it to the world man now pc will be like rct2 with a six flags park to mess around in
No problem Brotha! You did a great job, I jumped on this one right away, so thanks for giving me the chance to feature it here first on channel5 gaming! I think most the people are absolutely loving it, there are a few people who complain that it's not perfect, but everyone these days is a back seat commenter, most lack the creativity and patience to do something even remotely close, so Don't be offended by them!
Channel5 Gaming exactly I think I finished the park in year 203? So many hours lol cant win them all, even if it was perfect, there still be that one guy in the corner saying you missed a tree 🌲 lol
A few things: The buildings are pretty bad, there's no detail at all. But he clearly spent a ton of time making everything, so maybe he's planning on going back and finishing the buildings. Full Throttle is backwards. You enter the first loop on the right, not the left, and the train comes back and turns left into the station. Also, when it stops for the backwards launch in real life, it doesn't stop so suddenly and goes all the way to the end of the tunnel. But it's cool that he didn't put the brakes on the drop after the top hat like it does in real life. That dive coaster is 100% made up. It doesn't exist. Ninja is a suspended coaster, not an inverted, but I don't think PC has suspended coasters so the creator did a nice job of giving it that feel with a B&M invert track. X2 is really well done, even though for some reason he didn't update it with the new color scheme that they've had for like 7 years. The New Revolution is a Schwartzkopf in real life, but in the game is an Arrow, but I think that's just another thing he had to change due to the limitations of the game. A lot of the pathways, terrain and buildings are about as accurate as you would find in the Six Flags parks in RCT2. There's no doubt this guy put a ton of work into it, but as far as a recreation go, it needs a lot more work. There is no monorail at Magic Mountain, but since it's a fairly large park, it would make sense to have one. Apocalypse might be one of the least accurate recreations in the park. I mean it's KIND OF similar, and maybe the limitations in game made it difficult to do a more accurate version, but the real ride is so much better. It's a shame the game took out the supports for the inversions on Twisted Colossus, that is probably the most accurate recreation, apart from the pre-lift section being a little bit off. And I thought they were going to race the second time around but for some reason the blue track's lift was faster. Goliath is super accurate, except for the mid-course brake run which brings you to a very abrupt, dead stop in real life. Also, stop putting "THE" in front of every ride. It's just Ninja, Tatsu, Scream, Goliath, Riddler's Revenge, Twisted Colossus, etc. But thanks for making this video, it was cool to see this park.
TheRealConcertKing monorail was defunct in 1999 , track remained till 2012 it's called the metro , you must be to young or never been to the park prior to its demise to remember it ,also Goliath mid run is like that because the friction is messed up on that drop with out it speeding through it slows down to much ,with the real life sequence and as far as the building details I won't be going back to work on them there simple and plain for a reason to provide the best performance for the map the game is not there yet where u can build fully detail super maps and have good frame rates so things had to be sacrificed or I like to call it CPU sweeped lol
As someone who loves magic mountain (have been there over 40 times since 2002), I think this is a great recreation. It's very ambitious making a real park because, there's always lots of fans who are very critical. I think it was a nice touch to include now defunct rides like the monorail and dejavu. Have you thought of adding flashback? It closed in 2003 and was removed completely in 2007. I don't know how well it would work on PC though (don't have the game yet)
I know this is old but an interesting thought occurred because I've been to this park many times. I give Brotha Lee the benefit of the doubt that some of those shops were closed becuase the real Magic Mountain has many shops throughout the park that are just straight up closed all the time and rarely open anymore.
Hauntcraze thank you much time was put into this I had to make sure It captured the six flags magic mountain vibe and give people good memories I know this park has a special place in my life so many good memories there so I had to make sure other people can get flashbacks of good times with there family
Magic Mountain was where they filmed the "Wally World" portion of National Lampoon's Vacation. You get a great view of the park as it was in the early '80s. The coaster they ride at the end was the original Colossus. They also have a part of it in the movie True Romance - the roller coaster they're riding is The Viper, which was relatively new at the time.
I've built a few realistic Six Flags recreations in Planet Coaster, and let me tell you - they take a lot of time, energy, and attention to detail to get it right. Though this park is obviously not 100%, it's a very fantastic recreation of Six Flags Magic Mountain. My hat goes off to the creator. That being said, the real "New Revolution" is a classic steel looping coaster, not a corkscrew. "X" is now "X2" and the track is red and black. Also, there is no "Deja Vu's Revenge". There used to be a giant inverted boomerang coaster a few years ago called "Deja Vu", but that was removed in 2011. There is now a new launched coaster within that area called "West Coast Racers." All of the other rides are pretty close. Below, I've attached POVs of the real coasters at the park. I don't know if you've seen all of them, but here they are just in case you haven't. Enjoy :) X2: ruclips.net/video/0DQzlhYgsaE/видео.html&feature=emb_title The New Revolution: ruclips.net/video/aMDAoaCyB1c/видео.html West Coast Racers: ruclips.net/video/K9Ns5ABS8o0/видео.html Twisted Colossus: ruclips.net/video/JIcQOV6azSI/видео.html The Riddler's Revenge: ruclips.net/video/bYQLboni7Ao/видео.html Batman - The Ride: ruclips.net/video/xxpQdc1o-nw/видео.html Goliath: ruclips.net/video/4k75f1Lj6F8/видео.html Viper: ruclips.net/video/DNs8nJ-FSiM/видео.html Scream: ruclips.net/video/UsKDf_lKe2w/видео.html Apocalypse: ruclips.net/video/l1zHu78U-g8/видео.html Gold Rusher: ruclips.net/video/Z7AOYMMr768/видео.html Ninja: ruclips.net/video/p6CirgUBKFc/видео.html Tatsu: ruclips.net/video/8gaxEXazvKk/видео.html Full Throttle: ruclips.net/video/CjyZ-1OfjJk/видео.html
Can't blame him, lol For now, it's still impossible to recreate the Deja'Vu, which is actually my most favor ride in Six Flag. Tried, but there's just no way to do that cool trick in Planet Coaster for now, sadly :(
The actual entrance in on the left because Hurricane Harbor Waterpark is on the left. Also the guests got up that tower because he used the move group option. I mean Hurricane Harbor is on the right xd
If memory serves correct, I think that X or X2 coaster is the one that basically put the legendary Arrow Dynamics Engineering into bankruptcy and out of business... It was the final nail in the coffin so to speak. Those guys pretty much invented the steel looping coaster.
They were definitely innovators. They also came up with a ton of rides for Walt Disney including Dumbo and a bunch of others. The first time they went into bankruptcy, Walt Disney actually bought into a 35% share or so of the company and bailed them out. They were good with coasters but horrible with managing money. lol
+Region Zen You forgot to mention the ride that got Arrow into roller coasters in the first place, the Matterhorn Bobsleds. It was also the first steel coaster with hollow tube rails.
Region Zen that's true but skuartof made the first looping rollercoaster but arrow made the first cork skewing coaster, Did you also watch the Legacy of Arrow Documentary
@TheFlip oh yeah, you're correct. Yes, I watched it quite a while ago... It was really interesting to see the history laid out like that. I may have to watch it again one of these evenings! For the record, I did say "pretty much"... lol ;)
Having visited that park MANY times, I can tell you that this is the best recreation I've seen. Yes, there is a coaster walk of fame, and that's where it is... the only difference really is that the actual park has a bit more 'texture' and a LOT more trees. And of course, the stores are different, but within the limits of PC, this is AMAZING.
jet stream has 2 sides on the drop because its old school. both boats were supposed to go down at the same time but that caused problems so they dont use the other side anymore but its still there
honestly based on rides and queues alone this is the best recreation ive ever seen. magic mountain has many hills but im willing to overlook it by how amazingly accurate everything else is. bravo!!! 👍👍👌👌👏👏👏👏
Lived in SoCal all my life, but had never gone to Magic Mountain. Until I got RCT2 and saw the scenario, then I learned everything I could about the park and finally visited. And yes, Riddler's Revenge and Goliath are my favorite coasters, too.
The New Revolution is a 1976 coaster that got the record of first vertical loop in the world. X's real name is X2. Now, X2 has flames before the last hill. The American Arrow's real name is Viper. Gold Rusher is a family mine train. There also is Lex Luthor Drop of Doom beside the Superman Escape from Krypton tower structure. Superman Escape from Krypton has a backwards launch. It was made to beat records and now it's one of the most insane rides at Six Flags Magic Mountain. The Riddler's Revenge is a Stand-Up coaster. To end, Batman The Ride's track is blue.
Did anyone else get mad that on the superman coaster it is supposed to be a reverse freefall and on gold rusher the first chainhill is not that shallow in real life!?
By the way, the last coaster you rode wasn't "The real Colossus" it's Goliath. Twisted Colossus is the only Collosus using parts from the original Collosus that weren't burnt in the fire when they were tearing it down. This park is very accurate except for some of the block breaks. Maybe they wouldn't quite work if done faithfully. I'm impressed by Derrel Lee's work!
To bad he couldn't add the drop rides on the side of superman. Brotha lee i like how x2 broke down because everytime i went to six flags magic mountain it was broken down.
Yeah... when X first came out, I stood in line for over two hours... and that basically was the norm. I kept being told... "it's worth it" as people would exit the ride. I would be thinking... it BETTER BE. It actually broke down while in line and I watched people leave the line... thinking there's no way in hell I'm leaving after waiting so long. I finally got my chance and when I got off... I was one of the ones telling people "it's worth it" after that. LOL
Goliath is truly an incredible coaster IRL. The best part is the initial drop, you go subterranean and it’s a bit colder than above ground. You really feel it on a hot day (which happens a lot in Valencia). The double helix really makes you feel the Gs. Just an awesome, awesome time.
All the coasters are spot on, i went to six flags last year and everything is 99% accurate. The revolution was the first coaster with a loop, which is why its like that. Very well done, must have taken him forever!
Do you guys remember Colossus -- the original? Man that thing was rickety as hell!!! Wooden coasters always make your ass hurt. LOL One of the best things about Magic Mountain is when they run rides in reverse. It pretty much reinvents rides that can become stale over time without having to actually demolish something and recreate something entirely new in its place. Twisted Colossus was probably what the original ride needed. That thing was a classic, but damn did my ass hurt!
It was much worse (and scarier) when it opened as it used to have a small airtime hill after the second drop. This unfortunate placement caused your legs to hurt too as they were the ONLY thing holding you in against the lap bar. Even more unfortunate is due to the forces, not everyone stayed in. A woman was thrown out to her death in this spot. So, that was the first of multiple reprofiles over the years to smooth it out and make it less insane.
Hey what's up I subscribed, love your content! Just letting you know I'm a ride operator for magic mountain and I operate Tatsu, Ninja, and Superman, after seeing this vid was outstanding! You should visit the park one day if so let me know I can get you to the front of the line for those rides! And one more thing brotha lee forgot a ride which is called Lex Luthers drop of doom, and it is a free fall ride that is attached to both sides of the superman tower.
THATDARKMEXICAN yes I left out drop of doom because there no ride type in the game yet but hey I'm going to six flags in two weeks can't u get me to the front of the line of tatsu or superman !! ?? Lol
Goliath's mid-course break run almost stops the ride instead of just taking a small speed and X is now named X2. That log flume that you saw on the beginning is Log Jammer. It was demolished for Full Throttle.
I remember those metal detectors being there in the real park, and they're pretty common now in any park in Southern California. Disneyland has them too, and I think Knott's has them now but I'm not sure.
The layout and all the coasters in the park are very accurate, including scenery. It's amazing! Deja Vu Revenge does not exist. The new revolution is a vr ride and that is why it's not so intense. Gold rusher was one of the first roller coasters at 6flags ever. personally, Goliath is my favorite. Overall it pretty much matches the real life version. Makes me want to go again soon.
Yeah, you definitely should if you're in the Los Angeles area. You should also check out Knotts Berry Farm, Disneyland, and Universal Studios. They're a lot of fun :)
So much fun watching this in 2021. You can really see how the channel, the game & the builders have evolved. I visited Six Flags Magic Mountain on holiday when i was 13 (i'm 30 now....), and this recreation honestly brought back memories! The X coaster opened not to long before that, i believe. Was so hyped riding that one. I'm really sad to say i didn't go on the Superman:( I blame my dad and brother for being too scared, they in turn say i was too scared and they were just standing in solidarity.... Caused some serious family drama... Amazing recreation Brotha Lee !!
Lucas Calixto such a beast ride !!I made sure it's accurate Ass he'll lol except the line I just made that off memory but I couldn't find any pics of the line so I free handed it
I's the BEST!!!! About 40 min from here. I was just there just this year. First time there was before it was Six FLAGS. I was about 8 or maybe younger. Before it became the Coaster Capital it is today!!!! Always my Favorite!!!!! NATIVE HERE!
This re-creation of Six Flags Magic Mountain is pretty much an exact replica of the real park! I know the layout of Magic Mountain and every ride in the park like it is the back of my hand! How familiar with it could just one person actually be, you ask? Well, let's put it this way, just this past Summer (2016) I spent an entire week long holiday alone at SFMM riding the coasters over and over again! Just to give you an example, during this recent visit I rode the 'Lex Luthor Drop of Doom' well over 100 times and I still couldn't get enough of this ride! Unfortunately, this is the one ride that was not featured in this virtual version of Six Flags Magic Mountain and it is one of the best rides in the park in my opinion! Other than this one ride missing from the list of attractions I couldn't find very many details whatsoever that weren't pretty much spot-on with the real park itself! Excellent Job! Well done!
Our highschool went to six flags for gradnite and this brings back great memories from that night. And yes we went at night so the whole park was lit up and there was music playing everywhere you go, and theres hella other schools that went too. This is damn near spot on.
A D12 it’s now at six flags New England is it’s the ever so original name Goliath As for the dive coaster called de ja vu Revenge it doesn’t even look like it would be possible because those turns are so unrealistic (also magic mountain will probably make a 300+ ft dive coaster)
Read through over 100 comments and your the first one not to like this park. :( Feel free to give constructive feedback on how you would improve this in the future. :)
1:44 But PNE Playland has Coaster, which is a crazy ride with insane ejector airtime! Also, just fyi, Disney's rollercoasters are mostly bad, and there's more than 1 Six Flags park ;)
This is an awesome replica of SFMM!!!! I go there all the time (I have season passes) and overall, this is almost EXACTLY like the actual park! Just letting you know, The New Revolution is actually more fun, and does not slow down as much. The Goldrusher drop is actually steeper, and Jet stream has a higher drop as well. Minus some color schemes and ride titles that should be updated, this replica is PERFECTION!!!
Wow this is spot on. Even the little things like where you pointed out the Ninja track almost hits the log jammer. It's actually almost that close in real life lol
When you arrived at revoulotion around the 12 minute mark I remembered when I was a bit sceptical if I wanted to go on that ride the last time I was there
Johny, i used to live an hour away from this park, have been here over 100 times. this park looks pretty damn accurate.. i was waiting so long to see this recreation. great work!
Hi Johnny! If you're reading this (so many years after publishing it) - I'm new to the channel and have been looking at the amazing stuff coming out of people - it's actually recharging my opinion of people and their creativity, especially after seeing how people behaved during covid. Thank you for doing what you do and exposing the amazingness of the Planet Coaster community. I wanted to comment about Six Flags Magic Mountain as I live in Southern California about 2 hours from Valencia, where the park is. When I was younger I went there all the time and although I havent been there for many years there are a lot of coasters from back in the day. The Gold Rusher, although not really an epic coaster, was a big deal at the time it was opened, because there were no other coasters like it - the first of the tubular metal track coasters. The New Revolution opened in 1976 (America's Bicentennial year) as "Revolution" and was revamped sometime several years ago as New Revolution. It is just as you described it and as derrelllee94 made it! Not such an amazing coaster - except for the fact that it was the first of its kind - no one had seen a coaster with a loop before - just like Star Wars (I went to the opening in the late 70's) it was epic for the time because it had no predecessor. The highlight of the park for me was "Collosus" - it became "twisted" several years ago in another re-vamp. The original was a single coaster and it frequently had a 3 hour wait time. The experience was very clickety and jerky and scary as you were pulled up the absolutely highest hill I have ever been on in a wooden coaster and when you got to the top it did not stop - it went almost straight down and it was absolutely terrifying! Viper is incredible - super fast and amazing (it was new at the time I rode it) and Batman was my all time favorite (except I heard they changed it.) What's funny is a comment below by "Faceless Fan" mentions every coaster I have NEVER been on yet at Magic Mountain - I gotta go one of these days and I hope you get there too (by the way I live 15 minutes from Disneyland and 10 minutes from Knotts Berry Farm!)
As someone who has to ride Viper almost every day for work, somehow they got the roughness down to a "T." Watching that, I felt like I was on the actual ride, bracing my shoulders and my neck for the horrible transitions. You did it, man. I'm so proud.
From someone who has had multiple annual passes... this is AMAZING. Sure, it's not perfect and some of the stuff is kinda barebones... but this is very much an authentic recreation, considering the limitations of the game. It really made me feel like I was in a virtual version of the real park.
This was a great and fairly accurate recreation!! The new creation, Deja Vu Revenge, would actually be nice real-life additions to the park. I also like the inclusion of an Enterprise flat ride. Magic Mountain had one years ago, but removed it. As a matter of fact, this park model would be an excellent test to see how more flat attractions could fit into Magic Mountain's line-up, which is currently coaster heavy with less than a handful of flat rides. There are real-life game options that could actually fit into Magic Mountain (ex. Sky Screamer swing ride). I understand that Planet Coaster is still adding rides, so the details surrounding the original Suspended Coaster, Ninja, the reverse-facing cars on Superman, the Lex Luther Drop of Doom attachment to the Superman tower, and the splash water falls ride with actual splash boats, can be overlooked. I love Six Flags Magic Mountain, so this recreation was definitely fulfilling!!!
About the extra piece on Jet Stream (log ride)... Originally it consisted of a double sided drop meaning that a gate at the top would allow a boat to drop down either side. When Ninja was built, they decided one of the supports was too close to the runout so it lost the drop to the left. For whatever reason they only removed the runout, but kept the drop itself and let the water still fall down the flume.
That extra slide on the side is to ensure less water goes down the actual drop. Jetstream was having problems with boats getting too much momentum and the actual boat flipping over.
the revolution you called boring is a coaster from the late 70s and was the first ever inverted steel roller coaster. it's been updated recently to include VR headsets for each passenger. it is boring by modern standards, but it's a classic
When you were talking about the log plume and how tiny the loading station is, in reality there is a big spinning circle are with like 20 boats and it doesn't take as long in line so yes that isn't how it works, but still pretty cool.
Very cool recreation. A couple of points that people may not know. Ninja in the real park is a suspended coaster, where the train actually can freely swing from side to side, but that type of ride isn't included in the game, so he made it an inverted coaster. Also the Dive coaster "Deja Vu Revenge" is there because that is the former location of Deja Vu, which had the same color scheme. But there is a rumor going around that they're going to put a Dive coaster there in the next couple years, so he added it in.
Little nuances and terrain aside, this is spot on; I was having such a great time this entire video! Having gone here so many times in my life, watching each coaster was so close to the real thing it's like GoPro footage or something. I was watching with my buddy and we reminisced the whole time about when we went together. I can understand Brotha Lee's comment about not putting as many trees in as the actual park has for the performance. The realism with not too crazy coasters, the loading stations, wide open plazas, etc.... just overall a great great job, watched all of your videos, and while I might be biased, this has definitely been my favorite! Hope you can visit this park someday!
Thank you Colin for your kind words! Glad you enjoyed this one! And I find it hard to believe you watched all 370 of my videos!! ;) You got some more digging left too do if you think you got them all! hah
Channel5 Gaming should clarify, I've seen all of your park spotlights and ride spotlights haha and most scenery spotlights. And I'm sure I speak for many when I say I think it's awesome you reply to almost everybody you can!
Heheh I know what you meant! :D And yes I pretty sure I haven't missed a comment unless its a reply to a reply those get fishy to find, unless they are recent. Even the trolls get attention! :D But you should check out the lets plays and lets builds, they are equally as fun! :D
Also I sent your Facebook page a message with a link to a six flags video I made if you ever have The interest or time, just to help you understand this park a little better!
Revolution was the first ever vertical loop (other than the disastrous and unsuccessful loops of 1910's rollercoasters) so that's the reason why it's very calm and slow at times.
Revolution, that is how it is. It is the first looping roller coaster ever and it is old old old old old. In order to keep this classic in the park, they had to put brakes on it in many place to reduce the pain you got on this ride.
Only if viper was that smooth in real life
True its rough as hell now
At least you don't walk off the ride as a woman like you do after riding the green lantern.
I got whiplash and 2 bruises from viper. I wish it was smooth but it’s an arrow dynamics coaster 😓
True, other than that though the other coasters were super realistic.
What are you guys talking about? Viper is a very smooth arrow looping coaster. Try riding a vecoma boomerang.
I’m a coaster enthusiast and I’ve been to Six Flags a bunch of times. I can tell Brotha Lee put all of his effort in to this park. Love it.
NightyGHT50 hi fellow enthusiast
Fr
I couldn't find Brother Lee sadly XD
P.S can't wait for Vampire spotlight.
Wow, awesome dropping in knowledge Faceless! Thank you! PS: I can't wait to find time for vampire either! :D
you forgot ninja and the type of trains that it is lol i know pc may not have that type of cart available but ya
Faceless Fan and you forgot to mention The Green Lantern ride that is now between Riddler and Batman😆
and Apocalypse is not like in real life, it has other type of trains and the track is more intense and longer :) it also goes under the exit which gives a cool element, which is really cool :) and The Revolution is the oldest coaster with an inversion!
Very true but still the game allows you to make an accurate layout. Some of these are just downright wrong, such as ninja
The part on tatsu where you said you love that drop is called a pretzel loop
i would love tatsu if it didnt have the pretzel loop. makes me sick everytime
Jeffrey Hansen same here , it really hurts my upper back and ribs
@@jeffreyhansen5590 I would hate that, the pretzel loop is the best part and it's unique
Niftyszn I know right
@@niftyszn9469 I agree. It's also really insane and awesome.
Channel5 Gaming Johnny Rockets is a restaurant.
xD I didn't know! :)
Hey fake Channel5 Gaming your fake
pc specs plzz
@EnderSlayer King Wat
"Not an hour, I don't think the video will be that long" lol
Hahaha... Yeah I under estimated this one! :D
Hahaha you are Funny
That’s what I thought lol
The layout here is SPOT ON. I'm a L.A. native and have been to Magic Mountain hundreds of times, and I'm blessed with Photographic Memory. And, whoever made this, also has a photographic memory because EVERYTHING is in the right spot. Literally everything. This is incredible.
Why hello fellow quensadilla fan
magic mountain is so fun dude, you'd love it
@39:38....When it first opened back in 1972 The Jet Steam originally had two boasts race down that double drop, that's why it has that extra side, but now the second drop is used for water to flow out of a fountain.
Even entrances and exits are spot on. Just an amazing replica.
Awesome! :')
It's not even close. Yeah maybe the coasters but the actual terrain is horrible. Where the tatsu and ninja are is suppose to be on a big mountain. The X2 has the wrong color scheme and it had the wrong name. Full Throttle was backwards
First ride he rides is at 29:45

@Brotha lee can you recreate this on console
I FOUND BROTHA LEE LOL!!!!
A few things:
The buildings are pretty bad, there's no detail at all.
Lol a few things
TheRealConcertKing he might actually make the park half decent 😂😂
TheRealConcertKing the blue side of the lift on twisted colossus is faster in real life
Ok for f*cks sake Magic Mountain is NEVER getting a dive coaster
Og for f*ck sake you are the biggest idiot in the world
They totally messed up deja vu
I know this is old but an interesting thought occurred because I've been to this park many times. I give Brotha Lee the benefit of the doubt that some of those shops were closed becuase the real Magic Mountain has many shops throughout the park that are just straight up closed all the time and rarely open anymore.
This park is spot on. It is almost exactly the same! I have been there many times this is a fantastic recreation!
Hauntcraze thank you much time was put into this I had to make sure It captured the six flags magic mountain vibe and give people good memories I know this park has a special place in my life so many good memories there so I had to make sure other people can get flashbacks of good times with there family
Very Good job Brotha Lee.
@@brothalee4313 XD d
@@brothalee4313 Other than deja vu it was SPOT ON! I could tell how long it took! Great job!
The Roller Coaster list are:
X2 29:40. First Drop 30:37
Viper 31:25
Revolution 33:02
Tatsu 34:56
Ninja 36:34
Jet Stream 37:37
Deja Vu Revenge 40:05
Apocalypse 41:22
Full Throtte 43:08
Golf Rusher 44:38
Superman Escape 46:41
Riddler’s Revenge 50:28.
Batman The Ride 52:43
Scream 54:05
Twisted Colossus 56:18
Goliath 59:26
I frankly find the park entry the most realistic of all the parks i saw... The big open area is just incredible... Love it
I love it too Ruslan! :D
X2 has to be one of the most fun but scariest rollercoasters I’ve ever Ridden
Enjoy :)

Lol he couldn't recreate Deja'Vu properly so he did a dive coaster with the same color scheme. XD
Can't blame him, lol
For now, it's still impossible to recreate the Deja'Vu, which is actually my most favor ride in Six Flag.
Tried, but there's just no way to do that cool trick in Planet Coaster for now, sadly :(
Deja' Vu is not there any more. Its a reverse bungie jump now
Larry Marquez exactly.
Rumor has it that SFMM next coaster will in fact be a Dive Coaster themed to Joker in that spot featuring Green track and purple supports
Faceless Fan De Ja Vu is now gone!!!
Region Zen They invented the steel coaster, inverted, 4th dimension, and the Corkscrew.
They were definitely innovators. They also came up with a ton of rides for Walt Disney including Dumbo and a bunch of others. The first time they went into bankruptcy, Walt Disney actually bought into a 35% share or so of the company and bailed them out. They were good with coasters but horrible with managing money. lol
+Region Zen
You forgot to mention the ride that got Arrow into roller coasters in the first place, the Matterhorn Bobsleds.
Interesting he put the monorail in. There was a monorail at magic mountain but they took it out awhile back. I guess it's like a nod to the past.
I was gonna say, the monorail actually running?? Unrealistic! (No, but really, I loved this recreation!)
@@cguy20076 The stations are still there, and one of the station tunnels is now the second launch on Full Throttle.
Loving the ninja recreation!!! The way the banking was done to mimic the pendulum effect of the real coaster! This park is increadable wow!!!!!!
I really enjoyed it, great work brotha lee! :D
jet stream has 2 sides on the drop because its old school. both boats were supposed to go down at the same time but that caused problems so they dont use the other side anymore but its still there
Thanks for the dropping in knowledge! I appreciate it :)
honestly based on rides and queues alone this is the best recreation ive ever seen. magic mountain has many hills but im willing to overlook it by how amazingly accurate everything else is. bravo!!! 👍👍👌👌👏👏👏👏
brother Lee was on the river rapid
meant to put a timestamp buddy
He WAS?! Somebody time stamp it! You found brotha lee?!
Lived in SoCal all my life, but had never gone to Magic Mountain. Until I got RCT2 and saw the scenario, then I learned everything I could about the park and finally visited. And yes, Riddler's Revenge and Goliath are my favorite coasters, too.
In real life ninja is a suspended swinging coaster, not a normal inverted coaster.
And twisted coluses’s supports are white

Not everybody is a coaster enthusiast
I used to live 3 minutes from SFMM. Been there many many times. This guy did a great job recreating it with the tools from Planet Coaster. Bravo!
Corey M thank you I’m building knotts berry farm rn on my channel
If you ever go on RR in real life, just know your area will get smashed
If I recall isn’t revolution one of the very first coasters with an inversion? And now the give you vr headsets when you ride.
It is. I’ve been many times and it’s a great coaster. They stopped vr headsets I believe in 2018 because I just went last week and wasn’t vr anymore
To bad he couldn't add the drop rides on the side of superman. Brotha lee i like how x2 broke down because everytime i went to six flags magic mountain it was broken down.
lol
Channel5 Gaming literally 4/10 times I go it's closed or opens late in the day and has a huge ass line
Brotha lee it's always fine for me
Yeah... when X first came out, I stood in line for over two hours... and that basically was the norm.
40:19 magic mountain doesn't have that coaster
He couldn't recreate deja vu so he chose to make a dive coaster with the same color scheme
All the coasters are spot on, i went to six flags last year and everything is 99% accurate. The revolution was the first coaster with a loop, which is why its like that. Very well done, must have taken him forever!
Really great work, wish I knew the park better. But I REALLY enjoyed this one regardless! :D
"It won't be a hour long"
XD Welp.. he was wrong
Riddler's Revenge is pretty spot on. The brakes slows down to almost a halt before continuing.
Since when is there a dive coaster at SixFlags magic mountain
Looks like he made it instead of de ja vu
@@gregg5958 Yep. The original was a true beast!
?? Lol
Brotha lee ahhh I see I still haven't play the game yet lol but the lay out is fantastic, what day are you going?
Thanks ThatDarkmexican! :D
He also forgot green lantern
YOSHI YO it's not a coaster worth the recreation
This gives me an eerie feeling of when I was there last year... a wall of nostalgia when I remember sitting in an exact spot depicted in game
xD
If I’m right he called Goliath colossus
The Legendary Smoke yup
Goliath's mid-course break run almost stops the ride instead of just taking a small speed and X is now named X2. That log flume that you saw on the beginning is Log Jammer. It was demolished for Full Throttle.
I love how the creator even made the metal detectors because of gang violence in LA
lmao yep
LOL I didn't notice this! >
I remember those metal detectors being there in the real park, and they're pretty common now in any park in Southern California. Disneyland has them too, and I think Knott's has them now but I'm not sure.
It's not gang violence, it's terrorism.
So metal detectors aren't a norm in a theme park?
As someone whose been here a bunch of times, he was pretty accurate. Great job. Everything was pretty spot on except for one ride
I really want too go there after this now. I'm missing out! :(
Yeah, you definitely should if you're in the Los Angeles area. You should also check out Knotts Berry Farm, Disneyland, and Universal Studios. They're a lot of fun :)
I love how you recreated every little detail! Good job brotha Lee!
"I don't think the videos gonna be An hour long"
So much fun watching this in 2021.
I came for Goliath.
Lucas Calixto such a beast ride !!I made sure it's accurate Ass he'll lol except the line I just made that off memory but I couldn't find any pics of the line so I free handed it
Oh so you were the one who made it! :O Congratulations dude
:)
Brotha lee Just curious: why did you make a dive coaster when we don't even have one? Channel5 said he wanted to go on if he came out here?
@@Channel5Gaming Why is there a dive coaster and
I's the BEST!!!! About 40 min from here. I was just there just this year. First time there was before it was Six FLAGS. I was about 8 or maybe younger. Before it became the Coaster Capital it is today!!!! Always my Favorite!!!!! NATIVE HERE!
NINJA IS A SUSPENDED SWINGING COASTER NOT AN INVERTED COASTER
that's as close as they could get
This re-creation of Six Flags Magic Mountain is pretty much an exact replica of the real park! Well done!
Nice! :D
It won't be an hour he said
Hahah, yeah I laughed at myself in in the editing process, and was contemplating adding in a funny caption about it. xD
Channel5 Gaming it won't be an hour he said it would be fun he said lol I had to continue the wording

I swear I heard a girl on the ride moan
bruh.
Our highschool went to six flags for gradnite and this brings back great memories from that night. And yes we went at night so the whole park was lit up and there was music playing everywhere you go, and theres hella other schools that went too. This is damn near spot on.
Geez I went for grad nite also
deja vu revenge isnt a real coaster
Scottyboypartyboy it used to be at magic mountain
It's at a different park
I remember Déja Vu.
A D12 it’s now at six flags New England is it’s the ever so original name Goliath
As for the dive coaster called de ja vu Revenge it doesn’t even look like it would be possible because those turns are so unrealistic (also magic mountain will probably make a 300+ ft dive coaster)
That is insane. The amount of detail blows my mind. I love your channel, Johnny 5!
Thank you soo much Trevor Roth!
URRRRRGH Horrible paint job cringe. That colour scheme is X's not X2'S
LightVlogs I know I liked the old colors better! I updated this map since Jonny uploaded this to have all the new paint jobs
But it is called x not x2 so it fits
The X is the best roller coaster ever. as someone who grew up at this amusement park it is spot on.
no detail, no life or personality. bad version
Read through over 100 comments and your the first one not to like this park. :( Feel free to give constructive feedback on how you would improve this in the future. :)
Donut City Can you make something better.
I’m from Cali and have been to magic mountain multiple times. You did a phenomenal job!
Wow this is spot on. Even the little things like where you pointed out the Ninja track almost hits the log jammer. It's actually almost that close in real life lol
"The video's not going to be an hour"
I'm so glad.
When you arrived at revoulotion around the 12 minute mark I remembered when I was a bit sceptical if I wanted to go on that ride the last time I was there
Johny, i used to live an hour away from this park, have been here over 100 times. this park looks pretty damn accurate.. i was waiting so long to see this recreation. great work!
xD
All the coasters feel exactly the same as when i was there 2 years ago. This is brilliant
Awesome! Glad to hear that! :D
:)
Awesome, thanks!
who likes rctw
That extra slide on the side is to ensure less water goes down the actual drop. Jetstream was having problems with boats getting too much momentum and the actual boat flipping over.
Wow Twisted Colossus was on fleek!
In response to the accuracy, I've been on all of these coasters and they are all pretty spot on. They did a great job!
Great to hear! That is awesome stuff! :D Good job Brotha Lee!!!
the revolution you called boring is a coaster from the late 70s and was the first ever inverted steel roller coaster. it's been updated recently to include VR headsets for each passenger. it is boring by modern standards, but it's a classic
the plaza is quite accurate. even down to the pre entrance metal detectors. There's always ppl running for the gates at opening too.
All these rides are really spot on
When you were talking about the log plume and how tiny the loading station is, in reality there is a big spinning circle are with like 20 boats and it doesn't take as long in line so yes that isn't how it works, but still pretty cool.
But there is a rumor going around that they're going to put a Dive coaster there in the next couple years, so he added it in.
cool!
Brother lee is good at making six flags magic mountain
when I was there I only had to stay in line for X2, Tatsu and Full Throttle, there was almost no waiting time for the other rides
Hope you can visit this park someday!
the tatsu upside down loop is my favorite part of any ride there, so much force pressing on your chest
I wish that Magic Mountain DID have a dive coaster, but that Deja Vu Revenge looks pretty cool.
SF Magic Mountain is absolutely amazing in this remake is really very good
:")
Dejavu revenge isn't even a coaster that had ever been at six flags. The deja Vu we had, briefly, was hanging.
