I found a Soviet Union made Dnepr MT-11 sidecar motorcycle in a barn and bought it. They were imported from Russia and Ukraine after the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991. I ordered parts from Ukraine and got them a month later. Then I started riding it. It's a blast to ride! The tonneau cover for the sidecar had shrunk over the years and was unusable. I started riding it without the cover thinking it was just to keep the sidecar clean and dry when empty. Then I was sitting at a red light when a woman walked over and jumped in the sidecar! I never thought that tonneau cover was for keeping wild women from jumping in at stops. I've ordered a new tonneau cover for my sidecar to keep them out of the sidecar when stopped.
I enjoyed this and thanks! My dog and I have 88,000 on 4 different bikes, now a 2019 Ural Gear-Up. Dogs double the fun, if not triple the fun of motorcycling!
I have an ACD that rides to work with me everyday, on my bike. She also likes to canoe and kayak. I was planning on getting a sidecar this summer, so I'll be watching for sure!
I too am looking into a Ural hack for myself and a Boxer named Pickles. This disabled vet is gonna find a way back on two wheels with my faithful companion, no matter what! I'll watch you do it first thank you very much. Knees in the breeze!!
Love this!! I have a Ural cT with a young red heeler in Harrisburg PA. Just starting out, we are both getting familiar with sidecar rides taking it slow and safe. Life is so much better with a heeler by your side!
Love this! Please take a look at upgrading the clips that attach to Gracie's harness. Those leash clips aren't "rated" and could easily fail under a relatively small strain or load. Have an AWESOME trip!
Come on by and stop at Tyne Valley PE. the Island is a great place to ride and enjoy the people and scenery. I had 2 Urals in Ontario and loved them but no dealers on the Island, ( PEI ) so have to do without. I am sure my dogs would love to ride in one.
Super cool man! I had a Siberian Husky I used to do that with now I have a toy Australian Shepherd new in the same keep it up! Can't wait to see more videos
I've had dogs and bikes all my life - but right now, I only have a motorcycle :-( The plan for 2020 is a short legged Jack Russell for my back pack, but now with a pair of those awesome Rex Specs!!!
When your in the Denver area check out City Bark. I can get you in-trust me not an issue. I used to own an 03 Patrol. There is also a small rescue here -Moms and Mutts-specializing in pregnant rescues.
Nice one! Excellent! I’m getting my dog at the beginning of June and I’ve been looking into the possibility of getting a sidecar for him. I’ve been checking out Watsonian sidecars, but they’re helluva expensive. What type of harness do you use for tethering him to the sidecar? My concern is that should a serious accident (God forbid!) happen, the little fella might be dragged under the ‘bike and/or sidecar. So, is there such a thing as a lead/harness that will secure him, but should an incident occur the harness will release due to the jolt and the dog will be flung clear...?
If you make it to NH @SidecarDoggie says come visit and we'll go on a Covered Bridge Tour. You can't be the first to take a lap on NHMS Road Course, cause he already did that.
I have the Gear Up (2016), and just need the dog!! Looking forward to this series, hopefully you will make it to the Washington DC/Maryland/Virginia area at some point!
Since there are only three types of people in this world: people who like dogs, people who like bikes and people who like them both, what's keeping any decent human being from clicking on like?
when you come to San Diego let me know where you'll be filming and going. Ocean Beach Dog Beach is definitely the place to take the dog, have been wanting to take my dog with me on my bike but there just isn't a good way other than URAL. This seems like an awesome idea
Fricken awesome Jason🤘🏼...... we both ride & have a rescue ACD (Stumpy Tail) called Banjo (after the great Aussie poet Banjo Patterson🇦🇺) Definitely along for your journey👍🏼
ItsMeJon I have thought about it, England has world famous side car builder. Watson’s or Watsononians or something. I’ll google it and go and have another look, thanks for input
I ride with my Golden Retriever in a large dog backpack around LA...my boy stops traffic. Best thing in life seeing his jowels flapping over my shoulder in the mirror. Ride safe!
On behalf of Marley (Our healer mix rescue) and I, we would love to get together with you if you come to Atlanta. We ride pretty regular on our 18 GU so believe we can keep up! Great idea and start of a wonderful series
Is there such a thing as hearing protection for dogs? I want to do this with my dog but I know a lady that rides a harleys with her dog and its now hard of hearing.
Holy Smokes! I'm gonna dig this show.... Debated for years if I build a sidecar for my GSA just for this purpose... maybe I should just add a new Ural to the stall instead? Damn...
You need to remove bottom seat so Gracie sits lower in the sidecar. Put a flat cushion so she can lie down out of the wind for highway runs. Happy cruising.
It looks like Justin is trying to save this channel. For the first time in a while, a video series I will watch. However, I am not sure I could get my dog to sit still in a side car. The first cat, squirrel, bunny, Harley, and I think she would snap that harness and be after it. PS, she lives on a farm where she can run all day.
Dogs + Motorcycles, this guy from MC garage is alright
I tore the seat out and laid a dog bed down. Lowered the center of gravity and made it much more comfortable for my old heeler.
Me too,.took the seat base out and put some foam padding for my red ACD.
This looks like the start of me buying a ural for my dog.
Scofco same here
My Great Dane loves our Ural.
Put a sidecar on a motorcycle instead of buying a ural
I am currently trying to calculate how many Pomeranians will fit in that sidecar...
@@ItsMeeJon nah no style. Like a bmw gs with sidecar doesn't look that good

You're gonna get some hop-ons.
Wow, a stranger simply jumping in to your veichle! That’s crazy 😳 How did you react to her? And what did she say?
You're living the life I want.
A Dog, and a Side Car Motorcycle travelling the country
Mexico
Sounds like the start of a great series!
I've got 2 bikes, 3 rescues - this show is for me :-)
I enjoyed this and thanks! My dog and I have 88,000 on 4 different bikes, now a 2019 Ural Gear-Up. Dogs double the fun, if not triple the fun of motorcycling!
This is going to be the best thing ever. Thank you!!!
Me who likes dogs and motorcycle. Well Im in!!
I have an ACD that rides to work with me everyday, on my bike. She also likes to canoe and kayak. I was planning on getting a sidecar this summer, so I'll be watching for sure!
will be interested in how well it is built these days, reliability is of huge interest.
Make sure to stop by on the East Coast and visit us at UralNE!
Oh man, such a beautiful dog. I love her.
My dog Gabby loves to ride in the my Ural. Will look forward to the rest of the series. Happy & Safe travels.
I too am looking into a Ural hack for myself and a Boxer named Pickles. This disabled vet is gonna find a way back on two wheels with my faithful companion, no matter what! I'll watch you do it first thank you very much. Knees in the breeze!!
This is amazing! What a gorgeous dog ♥️
Where are the other vids?
Lucky dog, nobody takes me for a motorcycle ride. She will have fun on this trip.
Love this!! I have a Ural cT with a young red heeler in Harrisburg PA. Just starting out, we are both getting familiar with sidecar rides taking it slow and safe. Life is so much better with a heeler by your side!
Wonderful. I have a 2017 Ural CT. And my Chocolate Lab loves to ride too.
Great concept. Love it. Thanks Justin.
Love it! I need a Ural!
The perfect travel companion. Looking forward to it 👍👍
Can't wait for the next episode!
Can't wait for every episode!
Love this! Please take a look at upgrading the clips that attach to Gracie's harness. Those leash clips aren't "rated" and could easily fail under a relatively small strain or load. Have an AWESOME trip!
Nice bike, nice dog, looking forwards to the series now 👍
Great idea... i am looking forward to that
Awesome idea, I really looking forward to this!
I am 100% here for this. Good for you guys for finding something new and novel to break out of the mold that's super appealing!

Holy cow, my dog looks just like that! I thought she was the only truly unique blend!
I LOVE the dog goggles!
a sidecar without a dog is just a sidecar...
I have a 2019, what he said about the new Urals...looks the same, that's about it...
Cant wait! awesome ideas guys and gracie looks such a good girl!
Sounds like a plan! Been riding one for 5 years now, it's my dog's chariot to visit the world!
Are there any episodes or just this one intro/advert ??
Where’s the show?
Please continue. Started to be so funny, hope you will continue soon
Any updates on picking this back up. Really dig the concept. I use to give tours in denver on urals and think this is a great idea
Did this show ever happen?
I've had dogs and bikes all my life - but right now, I only have a motorcycle :-( The plan for 2020 is a short legged Jack Russell for my back pack, but now with a pair of those awesome Rex Specs!!!
Hell yesssssssss!
Right on! Cycle 4 Strays approved!
Great idea! Can't wait to see more of this series. I'm subscribing just for this
HP is an old measure. Now DP is the new measure for the riding experience. Hahaha. Cheers!
This is such a great idea, I'm so looking forward to these videos!
Come to Newport RI, we meet at caleb and broad every tuesday at 5:30, and there's the Potter League animal shelter nearby too
When your in the Denver area check out City Bark. I can get you in-trust me not an issue. I used to own an 03 Patrol. There is also a small rescue here -Moms and Mutts-specializing in pregnant rescues.
Aight ima go get a dog and a bike now.
Cool ! what a great doggy hauler
Need to add hearing protection for Gracie. Ural at idle is 100 db.
Awesome. Nothing better then a cattle dog.
💯 Truth!
Adorable dog!

😍😍😍😍
I take my ACD in my 2007 Patrol. Nice channel
Since there are only three types of people in this world: people who like dogs, people who like bikes and people who like them both, what's keeping any decent human being from clicking on like?
Did anything come of this series? Seems to be just this intro video.
Great concept but did covid kill the project?

This is so beautiful🧡
I’ve been thinking I needed one of these for me and my 2 Spaniels
Got 2 bikes going to sell them both and get one of these
Andy Dunn put a sidecar on one of the bikes instead of buying a Ural
ItsMeJon I have thought about it, England has world famous side car builder. Watson’s or Watsononians or something. I’ll google it and go and have another look, thanks for input
Love it!
If you ever come to the twin cities hit me up! I have led hundreds of group rides here and know the cities like the back of my hand.
I ride with my Golden Retriever in a large dog backpack around LA...my boy stops traffic. Best thing in life seeing his jowels flapping over my shoulder in the mirror. Ride safe!

Hi Ural cT with red heeler in PA. We should start a heeler/gear up group!
Love it! I have a ACD mix and she loves riding in my sidecar! Would love to know where you got the harness setup and goggles?
Did this series ever kick off?
Found my new series!
When is this show starting? It's been like 6 months since this video
Is there such a thing as hearing protection for dogs? I want to do this with my dog but I know a lady that rides a harleys with her dog and its now hard of hearing.

Super cool!
Dig that helmet/goggle combination you've got working, Mr. Dawes. What are they, specifically?
When is the next episode?
Go Gracie go....
Dog looks terrified in the first 15 seconds
Looks like I might have to trade in my cat and 2 wheeler.
Awesome
I need a pair of " doggles" for some of the women I know 😋
DogGoggles!
Dogs have excellent hearing- consider protecting yours from the Ural’s engine noise, and that of other vehicles, as you do with your own helmet.
Did they add a 5th gear? So how do I find the show? I see no link to it.

Justin, what model of Shoei helmet and bluetooth are you wearing? Cheers,
SUPER DOG ITS BALENCEING ITS A BIG THING
