      আর'ও একজন গায়ক, আমার মনে হয়, এই গান'টি নিজের বলে চালিয়েছেন, অবশ্য "অর্জুন সেন" নামে নয়। সিওর হয়ে বলব

    Such purity of voice. I think we will never hear the likes of it again. How blessed I came to know of her in my teens.

      She still sings, and still writes songs.

    Joan Baez, a voice, a conscious, a humanitarian carrying on across the generations - like wings of inspirations and hope.

    I have been in love with this woman since the first time that I saw and heard her back in the 60's .
    To me this is some of her best work she actually makes me feel the pain of these three individuals. Very sad very touching tale .

    Joan Baez one of the finest singers ever. Her songs bring me to tears sometimes. I always had a little secret crush on her.

      Trip Lucid. LOL , I have been listening and singing this song for 45 + years and I only realized his name a few days ago. I fell in love with Joan Baez in 1969, Woodstock. I have much empathy for kilowatt .

    Remembering and listening to this sad and so proper song for the times we are living today. Now we're doing better. We are separating children not only from the father but also from the mother. We put them in cages and then disappear them forever.

    • @patrickrobinson1488
      @patrickrobinson1488 5 лет назад +1

      did you complain when Obama enacted the same policy? probably not. And also the people bringing children over and have no proof they are the parents are sometimes child smugglers bringing them over to sell into child pornography, ever think of that? nope of course not

    I know this is a sad song, but I can't help but dance along to it. Especially when the guitar starts to become fast and dancy. But still this song is very moving.

      Dante Manfredi Oh,I get the lyrics,we're supposed to knockdown all the prisons and let the criminals roam free to attack and rob the rest of us. What I don't get is why anyone would want that.

      We're supposed to feel sorry for all our brothers, the other human beings, especially the lost ones. Because, compassion for the ones we already love is not compassion at all.To Love the sinner is not equal to love the sin. Never on earth hate won hate. Love wins the hate.

      You're absolutely right I have a friend that's in jail and was given three years for lying to a grand jury. A lie anyone would have told if they were afraid of the consequences on the outside. Don't judge everyone in jail . a lot of them did nothing , quite a few of them did a lot less then they were charged with and the rest guilty as charged sir. And what it amounts to when young kids get incarcerated is Gladiator School. It keeps the circle going.
