I think you'd really like The Signal Fire by Killswitch Engage. They have both of their vocalists on that track and it's heavy. You NEED to watch the official video though. It's SUPER epic. Cheers from Canada 🤘

i absolutely loved Howard Jones voice with their music. it flowed so well together.
I Love Jesse Leach but to My Ears Howard was the best for KSE. They were such a tight Unit Musically and Howard's Voice made it all Soar! The Signal Fire was waaaay Damn epic though! The fact that these guys are still Brothers is awesome!
Their music is so good. The Fire Burns is a great song with the same singer. He was with them throughout the mid and late 2000s.

You should check out My Last Serenade. It has their original and current singer Jesse Leach on it, and it's one of the great anthems of the 2000s Metalcore scene.
That said, Howard Jones is my guy, and I'd love a reaction to Eye of the Storm. It's absolutely breathtaking.
By the way, one of their guitarists, Adam Dutkiewicz, sang the "in these tears I see your face" part. He has vocals in a few songs as well as Jesse and Howard.
So it's more than one guy in the vocals? Just for that part? Or for the whole song?
@@NTN_Lex It's kinda complex to break down. Every part before that bridge is Howard. The "I watched you walk away" and "THIS IS MY CURSE" and "THERE IS LOVE" are all Howard. He sings and screams high and low. The end of the song has Howard on lead vocals and Adam on backing vocals.
Adam's parts at the end are buried under Howard's. In the single version, Adam's part there is clean melodies.
In the live versions, Adam takes over the THIS IS MY CURSE parts and goes really low, but here, it's 90% Howard.

This is sung from a black lead. Other black leads are Sevendust, Fever 333, use to be Embodyment. Skindred not a metal band but their songs are like a mix of reggae, rock and hip-hop, is sung by a black lead which I believe has Jamaican heritage
Also there is Straight Line Stitch with a female black lead.

This is my sing out loud in the shower song, such a guilty pleasure lol. I'm enjoying you dive into heavy music. Ashes in the wake or redneck by Lamb of God. As for the video, you can watch it while just showing an album cover on screen. That way you can react to it without copyright issues. As for you like hard music with growls, there is no song better than Blackwater Park by Opeth, hands down the greatest heavy song ever recorded. This is coming from someone with a 380k song playlist.

I've gotta say though, the backing vocals are better in the music video version. There are tradeoffs.
You unintentionally made the right decision, the music video versions of my curse and the end of heartache cut out a lot of the heavier parts and basically has no screaming at all, the album version of my curse is like a 9/10 song for me while the music video version is terrible imo, 3/10 and thats being very generous
Signal Fire!! Has both Howard and Jesse. Something I didn’t know I needed until I heard it. KSE is one of my favorite bands. And it is just Howard on this one. 🖤

LucciLAND Jesse was the first lead singer and left dealing with some mental health issues. Howard stepped in, and then when he left due to regular health issues Jesse came back. There’s no animosity at all between any of them and you can tell that in the video. It’s great 🖤
I don’t know if anyone suggested Sevendust but they’re great and have a black lead singer. I suggest Black by them. If you wanna go early 2000s rap/metal you can try hed PE. They also have a black lead singer. I love Pac Bell by them but their most popular is probably Bartender or Serpent Boy (off the Strangeland soundtrack. 🖤

Black leads in metal you want body count all black band or skindred
Drummer keeps it simple. But check out their song Loyalty it has good drums and overall great track

The vocalist isn’t black, but the guitarist is in a band called Veil of Maya. They have a perfect song for reactions. “Punisher” is the track. They take a sample from a blogger that was trashing them and turn it into a badass riff

Also- best guitarist on the planet (at least up there) is a black dude named tosin abasi. His band is called animals as leaders. Check out “CAFO” or “on impulse” when you get a minute!
This song is by Howard Sturm. He currently has his own band, but he came back for a duet with the current singer in "the Signal Fire" by this band.

Unpopular opinion, but I think Jesse is way better than Howard.
Idk.. But tell me a song that has him in it and I'll react!
Jesse is a lot better at screaming as far as fullness, but I feel Howard has a lot more range to them, and his cleans are a lot more distinct, especially the vibrato, while Jesse can kinda sound like other guys when he sings.
@@NTN_Lex "The Signal Fire" has both of them in it and is actually a pretty solid song. "In Due Time" only has Jesse in it and it's probably his best song in my opinion. I'm really not a huge KSE fan myself, but they have a few good songs.
Jesse was the original singer for like one album, then he left and was replaced by Howard for a long time, then Jesse came back and is the current lead singer.
I agree whole heartedly that Jesse is better with KSE than Howard. BUT I do love Howard, he's a beast!
@@NTN_Lex Soilborn, from their selftitled album is fucking amazing. Jesse has such a crazy voice/scream. I also think their new song 'The Signal Fire' is incredible. Gave me chills the first time I heard that song!
