- Here my Softbody Tetris V31. This time it is a bit wider and corresponds to one of the images on Wikipedia ;) I'm testing a little textures right now. I hope you like it, although I know you'd rather have Jelly 🤣😋
But I still like it very much. I might make a few other variations from this animation/simulation. I hope this is ok for you.

Your idea is really very good but extremely hard for me to implement. The transition to softbody tetrominos in liquid is not as easy as you think. Exactly the transition would not look very nice (at least not if I would do it).
Therefore I will spare you this disaster ;)

With these textures I don't think the properties for the soft body Simulation fit as well than when using jello like materials.
With this texture I expect them to be a bit more rigid, especially the edges, and for them to have more friction between one another.
Yes, that's a good point. But in many cases I create the texture at the end. Maybe next time I should think about which texture to use beforehand and set the friction and other parameters accordingly. I'll give it some thought. Thanks for your constructive criticism. It helps me a lot and will definitely flow into future thought processes.
But there will probably be other versions with different textures soon with the same animation/simulation. I will use the video here as a kind of template to test some textures and will upload the videos here as well. Creating Softbody Tetris is extremely time consuming (dynamic calculations), so only the texture change. I hope for your understanding.

@@C4D4U I have a hyperfixation on Tetris, I don't think many people even realize they have correct colors (and names!) but it definitely added to my satisfaction and now I need to go back and see a bunch of the softbodies that I missed. They're fun (and the music is awesome)

A glow in the dark tetris. First the pieces are dim, after they stops at a place they will brighten. Add some ambient fireflies around.
Yes, this is a cool idea with the fireflies. Unfortunately, I already have two other versions ready. But I will add this to another version if it fits to the rest. Thanks for the idea.

@@guragat2 With grass, everything must fit well together, so the objects must match. Grass and hair require very long calculation and rendering times. Also, unfortunately, a lot of mistakes happen, as you may have seen in my other animations with hair. Thanks for your ideas :)

Creating Softbody Tetris videos is very time-consuming and requires a lot of patience. There are always problems and sometimes I create a completely different video because I can't find a solution. I also keep trying new textures to make it look more realistic or different. This is a lot of fun but always takes a lot of time.

At the moment I use C4D but I will use Blender, Houdini or a other software in the future. Blender is free. This is really cool.

@@ApeiriophobicGD In most cases I write the rendertime in the description of the videos ;) Making time is very different. Some hours and sometimes some days. Tests, repetitions due to errors, problems and the required solutions or a complete restart because problems cannot be solved. It takes an extreme amount of patience for Softbody Tetris. But the statement above is also true for the other videos. At the moment I am doing a lot of experiments with textures. This takes me an extremely long time, because it does not always run as it should ;)
