FYI, you can't stack aura’s that provide the same type of benefit; so the unblooded can either benefit from the GFEs aura or the ASBs aura since they both provide wild charge, not both.
That Game 4 was excellent. You made me think about every move. Not seeing a couple of flanks hurt me but those dang bolt throwers. Also, we need to get the Rules Committee to replace that stinking Life-leech with something more useful. You’re a fantastic opponent and I enjoyed the game greatly.
The wild charge 2 aura doesn't stack with the D3 on the Unblooded. It's just flat 2, not +2, which is important. The maximum charge distance of an unblooded is 14". Worth pointing out your opponent chooses which one applies, so they can either have d3+1, or 2+1 for a guaranteed 3.
@@DeathByDragons No. You select the unit to move, then pick one of the wild charges to use, then determine charge distance. Realistically the only time you would use the D3 is if getting the 4 would win the game.
You roll wild charge before declaring any orders, so can roll and then choose if you want the roll result or the heralds WC2. You can stack the WC+1 from the GFE on this too.
@@DeathByDragons Yes you can roll the wild charge before deciding what movement order to give the unit, but sadly you can't combine auras that give the same rule (like the 2 wild charge auras in the lizard list)
@@simoncooper6410 You don't get to roll the d3 before deciding which version of WC you use. You get to choose between the values of n (d3) and (2), not (the result of rolling a d3) and (2).
"Games shouldn't have feel-bad mechanics" Preach!
Yeah, there's a real cross-atlantic split in that one. Interested to see how v4 pans out
I love that your list is just a collection of things you like and not a carefully constructed mathematical machine
Thanks! I do love a theme. Please don't judge me when the theme in the next battle report is, "all the most dangerous things I could find in the list"

This is proving an extremely popular point of discussion!
Oh? On Facebook fanatics I assume?
No in these comments :)
Somehow I missed that below...sharp.

It was amazing to meet you, I loved our game. Hope your arm is feeling better!

Ooh, I wonder if they're allowed to roll first before deciding :)

I'm not sure if it's changed, but war machines treat difficult terrain as impassable?
My understanding was that war machines treat obstacles as impassible, difficult terrain is just difficult terrain
@DeathByDragons I just checked, you are correct, I've been playing this wrong (that one time it came up in pretty much my entire kow career)
@@saulsmith2939 Well, glad to have helped!
