Well thought out. More Gigs will come from it it, no doubt. How do you charge for 8 + hours and 2 trips?

Nice shirt and an interesting type of event. Don't forget to get your business name on the face coverings. Maybe gets some stickers and wrap them around some complimentary bottles of sanitiser. Got to think of these new ideas during these changing times! 😄If I ever get back out there dj'ing I would like to do a few of these corporate type events as they are different to the usual. Think the 2 setups were looking very nice. You certainly have got good polished setups these days Kevin 👌👏👏 I think you were right to just do a lot of Automixing with just a bit of dj'ing for this event but how do you usually do the beginning of other events like Weddings. Are you dj'ing from the start for those or do you also use a little Automix while people arrive and/or are having dinner etc?

Craig love your creative ideas! Would help with branding in a simple way.
Thanks so much for your comments.
Yeah I love the diverse events too, keeps things interesting and let’s me apply music and sound in different ways.
I use automix sometimes at a wedding or event especially when I need to for example go collect my ceremony setup during cocktail hour. Being a one person show I need to rely on automix. I’ve made premixes before but those are hard because I build playlists for each of my couples and don’t want to play a canned mix/string of songs. Automix does pretty well!

@@SmilestonesDJAdventures one more quick Q. Where did you get those Chroma Caps from - was it DJ Tech Tools or somewhere else. How many did you get and do you have a link? 😁

Really love your vids! Interested in how you have your set up for the Chauvet Wash FX2 if your still doing those? I know you have intelligent lighting too... but very interested in your set up. You did teach me a lot with the My DMX go tutorial! Thanks for everything! Best!

Thanks Gil! Ok so I’m using the latest Chauvet Wash FX Hex’s now, and use them all the time! I either mount them on top of gravity stands or attach them to a fly point on my JBL speakers. I set them up to be DMX’d (40 channel mode), and I use wireless Donner DMX receivers. The Donner transmitter is attached to the My MyDMXGO unit. I then connect to this unit’s private wifi network on my iPad, and use the MyDMXGo app on the iPad to control the light show real time during my performance

@@SmilestonesDJAdventures awesome, and I think you just showed that set up for the Bat Mitzvah! Nice looking setup! Was thinking about those gravity stands, but if you bring you intelligent lighting then I would assume you have them in the decorative totems and then use the wash FX Hex with your speaker flypoints? Nonetheless your setup is amazing! Chauvet Flexstand, or something else?

@@emeraldcitydjgil thanks, yes! And yeah if I bring moving heads I will typically put them on Rockville totems :)

Nice gig log. I also have a JBL EON ONE PRO. Do you have any issues with a vibration noise in the handle when it is open? Mine gets a little loud when bass notes hit. I still love your all white setup. Very clean. Great content.

Hey! Yes I get that same buzzing but seems to only be evident when you’re behind the speaker (at least with mine) so luckily it’s not too much of a problem.
