Calculated this vid, init only hit 46,835,000 on guild boss. According to the 10,000 needed per blood and 71,560 blood obtained. I calculated exactly and init was ACTUALLY hitting 126,483,000. 79,648,000 was missing just like true damage with alistair. I calculated everyone's millions of damage, down to salazar and init. So ancient cores probably don't count as his damage, just like Alistair true damage/radiant erosion didn't count as his damage
I was super excited to be able to get him this week until I watched this video. I'm on the last Odyssey quest, and now I'll just wait till I complete it from enhancing gear as I progress. Thank you for putting in the time to do some tests.
I recently got Init and think he is not bad.... Not top tier but he definitely has a place. I put him in my Laurel/Layla rotation in GB and his 30% dmg buff each time you deploy helped me get a new GB1 record. He also helped my beat 120k on GB2.
Why does the video not agree with the title? Lol I mean he does his job which is buff other heroes. Great for those running an Arbiter team which is more for Titanic ruins than Drake's chasm.
Now I’m less excited about getting him haha. Moontoon disappoint us, well me again with these heroes. not surprised…. I’m just saying when you’re not hyped about a character destined it’s a let down, especially it being an arbiter haha. Thanks for the review!
How do you find materials to ascend gear? I ve been farming for months and i have enough to maybe ascend 3 max, let alone the ancient ones where i have just for one
If you watch Misstical's video on Init. He seems bugged by the way his ult reads. Would like to hear what you think. Is he correct? By the way it reads he isnt doing what he is supposed to durring ult. If they fix it then he might be really good.
His end stats in GB2 look ok, just hard to get the full picture in terms of how much more damage was done because of his buffs. His usecase isn’t super clear to me yet since he can do a lot but nothing great.

We need more hero testing from you! Misstical did more in depth testing, and have found a few bugs... I think Init may work well with Laurel in the GB1. His boost for the team is really strong at deployment, but it lasts only 20 sec. Maybe rotating him is more efficient. With rage regen from Hollow he may ult fast enough to refresh time of those ancient cores from deployment (30%dmg boost). Can't wait to test him, interesting hero but it will take a while. I feel for how hard he is to get they could buff him alitle, like when he uses his ult he would reapply the 30% damage buff for 20 sek. Second maybe buff his a1 so it does more then just when placeing him. And third tell give us a way to get more of his soulstones

Does his ult damage count for the hero’s it lands on or himself? It might be better than it seems. In GB1 putting up the same’ish blood without Laurel and the damage output seemed to be about the same as well. Which makes me think the beams could be counting the damage for the hero it lands on. Could be an easy test, aim everyone backwards on GB1 and see where the damage chart at the end is. I might be completely wrong just a theory.

With all fairness. You're doing end-game material, with that in mind this champ might be valuable to mid-game players.

It probably doesnt work right, it felt very bland and weak when i was using it, id need to test more though

Maybe inits cores damage are counting as the heros they're on damage and not inits
Surely if that's the case then it would be very easy to check. Basically just see if your healers have done damage after they get a core.
I got mine yesterday, haven't tried him yet tbh though. I don't have Praetus though, so not sure if he's even worth using
On guild boss 2 he would be pretty useless unless you have Preatus , his second faction makes him much worse than he can be .

But isn't he also buffing other Heroes? So his damage might be low, but other Heroes should do better (and heals)
I heard he was underwhelming, for how good he should be for how long it takes to get him, somewhat end game. So I’m in no rush anymore. Oh well.
