- It’s Gen Z’s favourite social media platform, but, perhaps surprisingly, some of TikTok’s most popular content creators are from a very different generation. Grandparent and granddaughter duos are accruing millions of likes on the platform, with the hashtag #grandparentsoftiktok having 1.4 billion views on TikTok. We’re joined by two sets of “granfluencers”, Emily Clark and grandmother Ann, alongside Jess Asquith and her grandmother Norma, to explain how they’ve become social media stars.
