- Hello everyone! This video doesn’t have a dedicated description like I usually do. However, many people reached out to me after the mom helps with your period video and let me know how much that video helped them. With that being said, I decided to make another one of those videos but this one is a big sis figure. This video is much more detailed with products that can be used during one’s period. It’s great that she did that but it’d a shame that she had to do that in order to avoid being slandered for not being inclusive, at the end of the day it’s a role play , what’s happening isn’t real , it’s a role play , yes you want to go feel personal and she wants it to be for your relaxation but if we’re going down that route what about transgender men this video is not inclusive to them.

Some little thing I also do when I have my periods:
-I put a towel on my bed so when I go to bed.
-I have ‘period undies’ so my good one aren’t all nasty
-I cut caffeine, caffeine (for me) Worsens my cramps.
-After I get out of the shower I sit down on the toilet to ‘prepare’ my underwear and moisturize myself.
-Eat healthy!!! Oh my god just eat good heathy food not just chips.
-If your at school, I carry black leggings with me and extra undies just Incase I leak through.
-If you don’t feel safe with just was you have wrap toilet paper around the bottom of your undies.
-PLEASE, wrap your used pads in toilet paper and throw them away. (If you put toilet paper around your undies flush them down the toilet it’s fine)

(Sorry if it seems like I'm saying my life story, but quick rant!)
I'm the middle child of my family, and it sucks. I'm always placed the responsibility and the blame, and they expect me to do better than the younger and the older of the family. However, I'm not as intelligent or as amazing as the others, so I grew up seeing my friends as my family, instead of my family. Instead of finding 'family' and love and comfort in my actual family, I found it with the friend I made at school. I met this girl (let's name her Jess) and I saw her as my mother figure that I needed and wanted. She's wise and super amazing at almost everything. I always look to her for advice, in return for whatever she wanted, which she just wanted my presence. And she is so great at advice. I also met another girl (let's name her Alexa) and she is always supportive and always is by your side whenever you wanted to talk. She always carries extra stuff (Like small munchies in case, and extra pads and everything.) and she's just so amazing. I look up to her as my sister. The rest there is no need to mention, but these 2 friends made my life so much better. And I love to have them in my life. And this gives me the same vibes I get around them! I feel comfort and love from this, and I feel so much better today, since I had a bit if problems!

I was so scared but now I use a menstrual cup which will probably look scarier then tampons but when I wear a tampon I can feel it but when I wear the cup I can’t, it weird but honestly it’s a better option in my opinion because it lasts longer so you can save money and it’s better for the environment.
It’s not that scary. Or at least for me it wasn’t, you for sure won’t get it right on the first try. It’s actually comfortable for most girls if you do it correctly.

You should talk to a doctor about that, I have friends who have been prescribed birth control for their excessive bleeding and they say it helps a lot! I'm so sorry that you struggle with this, it sounds horrible

Even with an older sister and mother in my life, I was never taught about periods. I was briefly taught it ONCE in like grade 4 and I was so confused what the heck the teacher was saying because imagine just being told at like 10 that you'll start bleeding down there without a reason why? lol Once I got it I used tissue not knowing how to use pads. Once I have a daughter in the future I'll teach her everything she needs to know. It's nice videos like this exist, thank you

Some grade a tips
- keep extra supplies in every place you go that you will likely need to change your products. (Lets face it, you may forget your bag before stepping on the bus)
- an extra razor in your gym bag ( a shaving razor, you might forget to shave those pits or miss a spot on your legs before heading out)
- a mini heat pack (a handwarming pack and some medical tape to your undies before school or work. Homemaid on the go heating pad)
- ibuprofen bottle in bag
- always keep extra undies and maybe even a change of pants/bottoms
- keep books on girl stuff. (Doesnt have to be in a bag, keep it on hand at home.. you may find yourself with questions and feel embarrassed to ask)

I know this comment is pretty personal, but I'm not embarrassed about it. (I'm very open about stuff lol) I want to thank Diamond for making this video! I got my period in April, and I have tried to stay away from tampons, because I was pretty much nervous about using them. I tried one about once, and it wasn't comfortable because It didn't go in all the way. I hated having to take it out because it hurt lol. I wouldn't, but my friend uses reusable underwear for periods. It soaks up everything unnoticeably, but you have to wash it. She says it works very well. Just saying as another alternative.

But just 1 thought for some girls/women out there: if you're sensitive for bladder infections (like I am), don't use the wipes. It can cause bladder infection if you're really sensitive. I used to use the wipes or the washing gel for down there and my doctor, aswell as my gyneacologist told me to never use that again as it can potentially cause infection to women who are sensitive down there. The doctor said to just simply use water down there, nothing else. But otherwise, good video 👍🏻😊

I came here for diamonds great content, but there are still a lot of people in the comments that are daunted by tampons and I just wanted to say:
As long as you know how to apply it, it’s perfectly fine. Since I have heavy periods I have had to use tampons and pads and change it frequently. So I haven’t had a chance to be afraid of tampons, I understand the fear of it hurting or getting stuck (which has never happened to me) If you feel better using pads then don’t feel pressured into using tampons and if you still want to try them, watch videos online and use smaller tampons for the first few months.
Everyone has their personal trick and fix for their period, so it takes time to find what works for you. Take advice from other people, try their ways, and adjust anything to suit you because being comfortable on your period makes it all bearable.
