Love this song and I am so, so sad not finding it until recently, because it would have changed me personally earlier in my long life. It immediately took me back to when I was in High School with my girlfriend, for which we had a 3 year Love Affair, until a stupid intoxicated driver took her and her mother's life in July 1972. We were engaged to be married in August to start our life together. Funny when I first listened closely to the words of this song, it was the same words that we discussed together. It is interesting how tragedies in our lives makes you better at relationships moving forward, and that one for me personally, made me a better man today.

I lost my husband to a brain attack in the year 2000, we just were young with a newborn baby of 5 months and a daughter of 5 years....he survived fyi al ..but he suffered a severe character disorder causing severe bad conditions to raise our kids...we divorced five years later, I raised my daughter's and they had always contact with their dad, I don't write my story for people to feel sorry for my circumstances, but to help you as we all go through hardships, I wish you courage and strength, and in case you might miss your loved wife, close your eyes, put your hands on your heart and find her love....real love doesn't die .. sending you a warm hug, take care 🤗
