Hi gly & Laura. Superb quality camera work and image, you have done a great job on the new camera rig and setup. Enjoyed the first part of this mine revisit. Thanks again for your efforts 👍👍
Hi Gly and Laura, it's evident just how hard you are working to make these new channels successful. I am hoping and praying that sometime soon you start to get good growth and see the revenue increase to a more comfortable number for you both. You truly deserve it. Adventure Coolness is shaping up to be a great channel and I feel sure Laura will produce some great content for her channel. Sending love guys.
I know exactly what you mean about a welcoming mine! I was teaching a friend about exploring mines and I said "There are mines that go 'come on it, you'll have a great time', mines that are silent on the subject, and mines that you look at from the outside and they growl and say 'I dare you to come in - I'm going to kill you'". The first mine we did was one of the extremely welcoming ones, and it's the perfect place to make sure someone new to exploring is comfortable. Then we did one of the ones that don't say anything. The last one I showed her (from the outside) is definitely one of the ones that want to kill you. I demonstrated how just tossing a medium-side rock inside triggers a further collapse of the back, with thin spear-like pieces of rock falling down. I had actually explored and mapped that last mine several years prior. It's one of the four most dangerous mines I know of, and I've posted pictures of them, all captioned "We explored them so you don't have to".
You are correct Gly and Laura. RUclips is screwing with this channel. Didn't get notifcation for this weeks video. Had to go look for it. Did see the Gly Coolness video pop up witht he cement pad in the thumbnail.. I do remember those big lights from the 70s. Everyone had to have one for their truck. Unfortunately they were used to shine deer as well.
Enjoyed it. For the newbies, how about using your laser more to point out the minerals, veins you see, like you used to? It really helps. As always, enjoyed the conversation and am glad you revisited this explorer-friendly mine! Have fun, you two!
You’re in my town again! I was the guy who used to work in that mine who posted a bunch of historical comments about it. Are y’all staying here locally? Would love to meet you guys!
Hey y'all! Another great episode of doing things I shouldn't do. You're production quality is great! Looks like a show that you would see on the travel channel or something. I ve been watching you Gly for years, the lovely Laura does a Great Job. Y'all are the modern day RUclips Cave Man and Cave Woman. 😅 And the begining of most shows remind me of Jay and Silent Bob. Except it's Gly and Silent Laura. 😂😂😂❤
Gly as I said before, you have the best video of all the abandoned mine explorers, but how do you hang onto that camera and climb down a ladder one handed?
Gly and Laura thank u for sharing it again . It’s just as interesting as the first exploration. Glad you r sharing these with Laura. And for me being here since the very beginning of your journey. It s not boring either. Still much to learn.
Again I don't think there has been an accidental detonation of modern dynamite without a blasting cap or it being burned in mass. The danger is old fulminated mercury blasting caps. These can detonate by dropping. I have tried to detonate old dynamite with a #10 blasting cap and some of the old deteriorated would not detonate. Most of this was 30%. We were destroying old deserted explosives in Tennessee. I have a chemistry background. Dynamite can also be destroyed by soaking in a strong of sodium hydroxide solution.
Geology! @ 8:35, looks like alot of liquid minerals, swirling around (walls above), like you say, during a volcanism period of time; cool. We can see all around because of your new 360 degree equipment. But it didn't come that way, you had, once again, like your previous camera, had to re-structure pieces/go pros/onto a new designed gimbel. You sure are good at engineering your electronics. At your short pause, I look at the "squeeze", square opening to the next ladder. It sure is tight in there. Boy! look at all the mineral the miners took out at 26;14! The whole opening or adet that you're in was where the mineral was. So, Laura is squemish about those bats. Naw, they fly right by. Now for me, its snakes, they startle. At 37:17, boy! you have some strength in your thighs/calfs to do all those ladders.........I can "feel the burn" just thinking about it. Not as tense, being with you two today, but still super interesting to see whats next. Thanks for the explore.
Just a suggestion…I think you’re stretching your views thin by having three different channels of content. You should consider content release types on a single channel on different days.
If you watch Gly’s older videos he goes into great detail on why exactly they run several different channels and why they have totally different content. Let’s just say it’s all about the RUclips algorithm and how it treats different content. Running different channels will hopefully also bring a whole new audience that may not be interested in mine exploration at the time they join.
I'M ACTUALLY SHOCKED HOW SHALLOW THAT MINE IS ONLY 250 TO 300 FT DEEP DAVID ADAM GRENIS BOULDER COLORADO I LIKE LEAVING LOTS OF COMMENTS FOR CHANNELS I LIKE CUZ I DO KNOW BESIDES LEAVING A LIKE AND HAVING SUBSCRIBED YEARS AGO I JUST KNOW IT HELPS YOUR LOGARITHM AND HOPEFULLY YOU GET MORE MONEY FROM RUclips , WHO OVER THE YEARS HAS CUT DOWN WHAT THEY PAY THEIR CREATORS LESS AND LESS OH MR SCROOGE RUclips
ACTUALLY WHAT'S YOUR BASICALLY SAYING THAT'S AN EXCELLENT MIND FOR NON-PROFESSIONAL MINE EXPLORERS JUST ABOUT ANYBODY COULD GO DOWN AND BE ABSOLUTELY SAFE UNLESS THEY JUST DID SOMETHING STUPID 😞 DAVID ADAM GRENIS BOULDER COLORADO
I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND STOOPING BECAUSE IF YOU'RE GOING UP ALL THAT STUFF IS FALLING DOWN AND I WOULD THINK THE WEIGHT OF THOSE ROCKS WOULD BE RIPPING THE STALLS OUT LIKE THEY WERE NOTHING SEEMS KIND OF CRAZY TO ALWAYS BE DRILLING UP AND THEN BLASTING OVER YOUR HEAD AND THEN HAVING ALL THAT MASS OF ROCK YOU NEVER EVEN KNOW THAT YOU MIGHT DISLODGE SOMETHING ABSOLUTELY HUGE BUT 😮 DAVID ADAM GRENIS BOULDER COLORADO

Wow! You really are squeezing that lemon!😂
Thank you guy and gal for this great explore. Look forward to next week!
Fun exploration - it's great to see old mines with your new video and sound equipment! Thanks!

Best music intro......still.

I will never leave your channels😊
Cool video, take care both.keep exploring.
Thank you Gly and Laura for another mine adventure.
Thanks for the Saturday explore video. That is an interesting mine even the second time around.
A very entertaining second trip! Can't wait for part 2!
thank you Gly and Laura.
Awesome! 👍

You'd think that hanging nail would act like a makeshift plumb bob. You might be able to get an idea of the degree of dip in the ore body from it.
Gly as I said before, you have the best video of all the abandoned mine explorers, but how do you hang onto that camera and climb down a ladder one handed?
It's a secret 🤫.
Gly you said independence day the movie and my wife was watching it at the same time I was watching your episode

@tinadelwiche416 thanks Tina! With as large as some of these mines are, it's often necessary for a return trip 😊.
@ never hurts to expand over the horizon
Portable donkey kong..remember that one? miss those lil handheld. Another good one
You said you like this mine. It's like a old friend, right.
Cool!!!
I'm not sure i've been in this mine with you Gly. Very cool. Now that Laura is with you, i will continue on.
I had one of those high power flash lights and I remember if you point it at someone like 20 to 25 feet away still feel the heat from it.
That's a cool mine from a Cool Dude & Dudett ❤😊🎸
Does Laura have a start date for her show yet? Looking forward to it!
i cant see the link to the video of your first time filming this mine... did i miss it?
i want to watch it first!
Hey Gly. So cool to see this mine again. BUT - whats that humming sound? Any UFOs down there?
Sounds like tommorow will be in N M around area Roewell
If that rock is swinging there's an earthquake 😊
Good morning from Syracuse NY everyone and I am not going anywhere
