I recommend going lighthouse with flares and camping the southern road with some DMR/AR. Scav spawns are far away, and they're all choked up at the end of the road or on the hillside.
Keep in mind scavs will spawn back in if you leave the village and come back, shouldn't be more than three but the do rush you hard every time lol and sometimes they're tanky and sometimes you can't even hear em approach they got me in the back looting lmao

another good way to get red flares in through marked rooms, you can get the actual flare and the cartridge as well. not super common but I have 13 red flares in my stash right now just from marked rooms

Hey I’ve been loving pve and I’ve got 2k hours in pvp it’s just nice man it’s so difficult but I can go at my own pace I don’t have to worry about hackers and u finally get decent loot cause cheaters aren’t grabbing gpus through the walls and stuff got my first color key cards the other day idk I’ve just been having a really fun on pve and guess what it won’t be wiped so I’m actually gonna try and get kappa it’s fun
I found 2, the lighthouse island one which is worthless and the abandoned factory one which I sold for 2.5 Mil. Found both in jackets. No colored keycards just normal access.
They never adjusted in game event times. What I mean is atleast on light house the train comes in with about 7 mins remaining and dosent leave before the raid ends.
I don't mind there being more scavs but there are two major problems with the amount of scavs currently in PvE #1 - It's inconsistent, some maps just do not have enough scavs - checking the spawn locations and it's just fucking deserted. It makes tasks like Forester's Duty a pain in the ass, as I run around trying to find any scavs to kill but they just aren't appearing or the AI PMCs are wasting them. #2 - There are too many, and it makes doing anything other than fighting very difficult. Customs is usually a scav nightmare for me - I don't have time to do anything BUT kill them. Even being suppressed helps only a little, as I regularly find myself getting into shootouts with 30+ scavs within 10 minutes. They need to work off of a reinforcement resource or something, once you've killed X amount - all scavs in the area are dead, they will no longer spawn. Congratulations, you are a mass murderer and have depopulated this zone. Otherwise it was fun at first, but it quickly becomes infuriating when you can't even check pockets/bags for labs cards or other neat loot - because stopping to loot will probably mean death - and you never get a breather so the timer is slowly ticking down. It's even worse when you clear a place like fortress and you want to loot it - but they just will NOT STOP COMING.

Why go woods when you can just do an external stash run of interchange where there are just 2 spots with scavs and the rest is barren. You can get your drop anywhere between emercom and the highway or near railway exfil without ANY interference. Plus you get the loot run if you know the stash spots.
Don't know if you saw my comment on the video from yesterday, but have you noticed scavs randomly aggro on scav runs? It happens to me all the time, and can't figure out why. Thinking it might be rep, but literally no reason they should. Have 1.25 scav rep currently
So update, it seems like it might be resolved. Not sure what the trick was, but I've had 5-10 scav raids without scav aggro. Granted I try and avoid them, but there have definitely been times that I was close to scavs for a good amount of time, and no aggro.

im EOD, havnt played tarkov in ages, i think the community is realy cringe when it comes to pvp. everyone just rats around. id like to come back to pve tho, do you get an mail or something if your acc gets acces to pve zone, just installed and im still locked. Pretty sure some dude claimed they started to roll it out to eod like 2 days ago or so. anyone know how it works?
Depends on a bunch of settings, PostFX, grass shadows, texture res, list continues. I have almost everything on low, plus YT compression makes it look TERRIBLE on videos. If I have it on high though I lose a bunch of FPS.

@@AcezEFT that’s not what I meant, what happens to PvP happens to pve, in the sense of events and what not, so do you think the prices will go up after they undo the better loot rooms and fir event, which I think will end when PvP wipes
@@jontrek9464 Key cards will skyrocket if the Not Found In Raid flea market is removed. They won't go back to where they were before the event but they'll go up over the next few weeks. A black card is 3.5 MIL right now, I'd say it would go up to 15-20 MIL in 3 weeks time after the event would end if they change the flea back. Just an example.
You'll have the best luck trying to find others to play in my comments section, other creators comments and discords are filled with people mad about PVE.

Best location for me is Shoreline Car Extract, where the old SCAV exit used to be. The crate usually drops about 50 meters east of the small complex.

reserve is a good map to do your airdrop dome has no pmc and non near whole in the wall scav extract either
I always pop mine on shoreline, either side you spawn you have either Path To Lighthouse or V-Extract right there

There is a clearing close to old saw mill two steps from your location without any scavs at all.
Just go on interchange, PMC doesnt spawn outside
they do, killed 2 at power station outside close to the fence

As a pmc if you lure a scav to the coop extract you can try and trap him while using the coop extract the hard part is not dying while he shoots you
You could also call it in in the middle of nowhere. Scavs and PMCs spawn almost exclusively near points of interest

I never got only two scavs there. Mostly between 3 and 5! Be carefull...they throw grenades like baseball pros.

Can't say I've seen an airdrop but I have however heard the really loud plane overhead that I believe drops them, never bothered to check.
Do your flares at cliff descent on reserve, I have never been disturbed by scavs or players up there in over 400 raids

Ima be honest I have gotten a few air drops and all of them have been dog poop loot and the whole thing is worth maybe 200-300k

Is there any use for a flashlight to blind the AI ? Or is the AI programmed not to care about ? Didnt anyone figured this out ?
Flashlights, suppressors, in game fog, the list continues but most of the things that would help in PVP the AI ignore completely.

Had a friend run a scav at night and the PMCs are easily identifiable by their use of flashlights.

1.25 rep isn’t that low, did you kill a rogue or something? They shouldn’t be doing that on your scav runs.

All i have found are Green flares. So they dont work? Was thinking of going to woods to use them.
Green flares are extraction flares. They can be used on Streets for an exclusive extract.

Unequip the Marker. If you kill a PMC, you can kill Scavs. If you don't kill any PMCs, you lose .05 fence rep.

if you have the mark of the unheard in your special slot and kill scavs as a PMC, if negatively impacts your scav karma.
