@reignman2112 Because he had a lot of money in his pocket. Also the lady that shot him was the motel manager, and not the call girl he was with. The call girl stole his money, and that's why he was angry. She had seen him earlier flashing a big wad of money in the bar he was at. It was likely an operation in that motel to steal people's money. Anyway the call girl definitely was lying, and was called out on it at the time.

At a time in music when very few artists as big as Sam Cooke wrote and arranged their own songs, Sam did it all. He was an accomplished musician and prolific composer. If there ever was a more perfect voice than his, I've never heard it. 😊
I was born in 1982, but this singer makes me weep just like Elvis, Michael Jackson, Roy Orbison and Kurt Cobain! Cheers to all those hard workers because they never gave up and helped society understand new levels!!!
+MrScalzo13 There´s a lot of major difference there. Haha
Please don't mention Kurt Cobain when you mention Sam Cooke. That's like comparing apples and oranges or comparing raw talent to a junkie hack.
AnarchyInTheRUclips right on!! Fight for the music you love man!!

The movie Innerspace introduced me to this magic in the 1980's and I haven't stopped loving it since! ❤️
Me too! It’s one of my favorite movies! Great cast, great story, great special effects, and, of course, great music!

I'm a female who had a boy job. One day I had to spend all day in the summer Georgia sun at a concrete company working on their trucks. I played Sam Cooke's greatest hits from a cd in my work truck all day over and over. It's actually a good memory. Thank you, Mr. Sam.
Sam cookes voice will go on forever. No time limit.💕😘

Hello everyone, I am very surprised When I heard this song for the first time and I heard it because I knew that Steve Perry decided to be a singer thanks to this song And I am pleasantly surprised because this singer He has a timbre very similar to Steve Perry So I can understand his enchantment with the song And I am very glad that Steve Perry has taken the path of music, he has given us unforgettable and beautiful songs. Greetings
My favorite singer of this era and I'm 33 in 2020. These guys are timeless.
I can definitely hear Steve Perry's origin of inspiration and influence in this beautiful song.
Sam est le genre de personne qui n’existe qu’une fois tous les 100 ans ❤
Stunning voice and great singer.
Very handsome man, fantastic voice, great pop songs. The whole package!!
Love, this tune. So beautiful 🇺🇸💕✅
Love Sam Cooke; what a smooth voice. I grew up in the 60-70's, so music such as this, to me, is what is most enjoyable. Much of the mainstream stuff today is garbage...not all of it, mind you, but quite a bit of it.
Where can I hear stuff like this live ?
More Corporate control. More Lowest Common Denominator gets promoted.
That Iz real
I agree i can't stand the music of today.
Hello gail
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I have nothing else but love for this man. An absolute legend 🥰😍
Love the French horn in this. It's like another vocal line that counterpoints perfectly with Cooke's glorious lead.
my daddy played this back in the late sixties and seventies when I was growing up in Trinidad :)
Your daddy was a good man, as was Sam Cooke ;)
Your father had a great choice in musical talent playing Sam Cooke!! I listen to his music whenever I feel down.
Trinidad in the Caribbean or Colorado?
