I am only looking at vball shoes again out of curiosity because it’s probably time to get a new pair and i wanna see what’s changed. I Say probably because its been a year, but the fact that im not sure if its time to get a new one is telling. I played 2 hour open gym sessions avg 2 times a week for a year and all i have is a little tear near the laces by the toe area of the foot. Mind you I take care of my shoes by only putting them on indoors and only for volleyball.

Picking from the shoes we have in this video, my first choice was Asics sky elite ff 2and I can say they are great performers. However to me comfort was not on point, so I switched to the Nike React Hyperset and I found they are even better. In all honesty I find basketball shoes to be better (according to my priorities of course), Li-Ning & Way of Wade have many great options, like the AC11, which is great for setters. From Nike the Zoom Freak 4 are great both for setters and outside hitters, the lebron xx are very good for OH. There are many more of course depends on what characteristic of the shoe is more important to you (cushioning, jump, lockdown, fit, comfort etc)
In this case depends on the position your are playing in. Jordan 37 is definitely better for Opposite and MB, sky elite is better for setters, outside hitters and liberos (even if would not recommend this shoe for a libero)
