I’m thrilled to be able to welcome my first guest back to the Beauty room since lockdown, the wonderful Aimee Connolly. Aimee Connolly is one of Ireland’s top makeup artists & creator of the award winning makeup brand Sculpted by Aimee Connolly.
I was introduced to the brand last summer when it launched in the UK and have used and mentioned many of her products on the channel. I have been so impressed with the pigments and formulas, as well as the brand’s dedication to ease of use for every customer. Like me, Aimee is passionate about teaching, which is why I was keen to have her appear on the channel.
So we thought we would film a subtle daytime look and a sultry evening glam look for you, whilst introducing you to the Sculpted by Aimee range.

OMG - this was phenomenal! You are both so gorgeous and talented, and I can't wait to get my hands on these products. I'll be back in the UK in the Spring (God willing!) and this is what I will be buying. It is so wonderful to see real makeup artists - who know exactly what they are doing. I will watch this one over and over.

Aimee is beautiful but I think she would look much better without fake tan. I know it's a personal choice but her face and complexion without the darker makeup is beautiful. When she added the darker foundation, it took away some of her natural prettiness.

I absolutely loved this Caroline. Not only because Aimee is lovely, but mainly because this proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that we can be equally as beautiful in our 40's as we were in our 20's. I look at you both and I see two incredibly stunning, talented and successful women. Beauty, style and grace at any age. I'm literally choking up x

But: Hyaluronic acid in Makeup dries my skin in winter time like crazy because of environmental conditions. Big NoNo for me.

I have tried these products on your recommendation and I love them. Also find their shade range on their website is excellent and love the way they show you comparisons in other brands. Loved this....have bought nearly aimee's full makeup collection currently. Haven't had chance to try it all out yet...but just wanted to know can you apply 2 or 3 things with hyaluronic acid to face in morning and night...or if use hydroglo which has hyaluronic acid then mostisuriser can't have an acid etc...or is it just can't mix an acid with vitamin C, salicylic acid etc...? Love to know as heard you can give yourself like chemical burn and I've sensitive skin. Thanks

What a great video. I loved this! Nice to see an Irish skin toned artist talk about products that suits Irish complexions. My skin tone is very much Irish (Scottish with Irish ethnicity) and it has his own nuances to consider, even though Caucasian in race.
Im a light to medium neutral skin tone, but I still feel I pull more pinky tone. Do love a slight fake tan, as it accentuates my features more (blue eyes too) and evens my skins tone out, to the point I would not wear make up xx

Unless you're pasty white blonde her makeup is useless and overpriced. And her matte foundation left my skin as shiny as a chip pan!

I use the tint & Glow skin enhancer which is lovely but next time I would prefer something that doesn't give much of a glow as I do have oily skin and get a shine anyway during the day.
