If only the limbo Madara had his clones in was the same limbo refered to when talking about someone passing to the purelands like when Kakashi saw his father. It would've been cool for his father to help against madara by fighting clones in limbo.
Naruto is _not_ an idiot, after all. He noticed that the stronger a foe is, the more likely they are to be taken off-guard by Sexy Jutsu. I'm not sure if it's due to how unexpected it is, or if strong people just tend to be degenerates in the Narutoverse, but it works either way.
You forgot to mention that the user of a wood clone is able to know what’s happening to the clone without it having the knowledge transferred back after being defeated like a shadow clone.
So now I'm imaging clones made of other substances that act as mediums to transfer damage once they expire. Like if fire clone existed and once the expiration happened it would burst into flames. Or if wind was used, it would release compressed air, like a knock back effect. Metal clone, would be tougher to disrupt, drawback is that it requires more effort to use. Magma, would burn to punch such a hot surface, and any over penatration would lead to more burns. Of course you could figure out the drawbacks or counters but these are what came to mind at the moment of watching this video.
Some insanely powerful jutsus only showed up once (because the plot needed them) and never again. Some of those would have been great against all kinds of villains but the heroes (of course) couldn't learn these things the villains did off-screen for this one event and never again...

Naruto's multi shadow clones is one of the earliest examples of his power scaling that I think gets slept on a bit, because it perfectly splits your chakra by the amount of clones you have, the fact that he was able to even keep standing after generating dozens if not hundreds of clones is pretty insane, even with some of kurama's chakra leaking through the seal.
Could you cover these theories & their possibilities?: 1. Any Uchiha, Senju or Uzumaki can unlock the Rinnegan by learning all 3 types of Sage Mode: Snake, Toad & Slug (Hashirama). The 3 Sage locations are Mt. Myoboku, Ryuki Cave & Shikotsu forest, where Katsuyu is from. 2. Any Hyūga can unlock the Tenseigan by mastering the 8 gates & all 3 types of Sage Mode. 3. The fully mastered Rinnegan gives access to all Nature Transformations, including Kekkei Genkai, Tota & everything beyond that. 4. Mei can use Wood & has a Kekkei Tota as a by-product of her duel Genkai, but never realized it. 5. Where did the 1st Snake Sage get their Nature Energy from? The only known way to become a Snake Sage is getting bitten by another, so how did the 1st get their power? Could you rank Naruto's Love Interests, including non-canon ones? Shizuka & Shion are my favorites after Hinata. Could you cover the best & worst HxH theories on your new channel?
That was apart of the nerf, which was also another reason why Madara stopped using Susanno, preta path and wood release in general after he became the Juubi Jinchuuriki, Kishimoto realized Madara was becoming too OP so he had to nerfed and make him not use his OP attacks. Madara states that Limbo is another him from another world, it makes no sense how they would not be able to use ninjutsu. Just when BSM Naruto said he couldn't wait to use frog kata in that form, but never used it. Does that mean he can't use frog kata while he has sage mode stacked on Kurama mode????
You know... I am surprised there were no lava release, ice release, wind release, fire release, boil release, explosion release or magnet release clones. Those would just be nasty with their side effects to destroying them.
Something interesting I really like about the shadow clone justu! Kakashis teaches us that it was created, not necessarily to help kill Uchiha directly, but specifically because clones can gather their own information and experience, and transfer it back to the user when cancelled, at no cost other than chakra. It was used for information gathering/spying, and I think that's neat.
Hey, new sub here! I've been binge watching your channel after discovering it today. Could you do a video on how Hashirama died? I like your theory videos.
I didn’t know that shadow clones return the chakra back to the user when they disperse. Now it makes a little more sense as to why naruto can spam it so much without exhaustion to me
That’s also why when he was rushing to learn sage justu he used a bunch of shadow clones xD. Thought it was self explanatory especially in the original Naruto?
@@therandomblackguy1983 nah original Naruto doesn't go into it. All we know about SCJ in the original is that the First Hokage created the technique, its a forbidden jutsu and its unheard of for a student in the academy to not only get their hands on it but to learn it and use it to the mastery that naruto did. Shippuden is where we meet Yamato and its during Naruto's training with him, Kakashi (and I think Sai was there maybe) that we learn that everything that your clones experience and learn is returned to you.
Imthink it's pretty obvious that Madara's Limbo Clones are the best because their power is an exact copy of Madara's (meaning Madara doesn't half his Chakra with every clone he makes) and they can't be seen or sensed through conventional means however the usefulness of Shadow Clones put the, at a very close 2nd in my opinion because of their knowledge transfer ability.
Think it's in one of the light novels. Most clans train their members at home and usually only send their kids to the academy for a year or so to graduate and maintain appearances of loyalty, exceptions being prodigies like Itachi that finished early, Shinobi Wars when they need manpower, and die hard clans like the Nara, Akimichi, Saurtobi he support the village ideology.
I feel like you missed a very powerful one. Guren's crystal clone had to be up there with wood clones as far as durability before they explode. Plus she could change their shape like wood clones.
So by Naruto failing 3 years in a row, does that mean he is 3 yrs older than everyone else? Despite being shown to have entered the academy at the same time as Sasuke, meaning Sasuke, despite being a prodigy, also failed 3 yrs in a row? I love continuity, lol
More likely Naruto was entered into the academy early due to being an orphan and not having a family to spend time with. There have been Chunin and Jonin ninja from the Leaf who are much younger than Naruto and Sasuke. So it's not a farfetched idea that circumstances are taken into account. Orphans are taken care of in the Leaf so putting them into military academy earlier with hopes of getting soldiers sooner isn't so crazy.
This is a common misunderstanding. Kishimoto stated that the graduation exam for academy students to become Genin is held multiple times a year. Naruto is one of the youngest kids in his graduating class. In the novels it explains that most kids join the academy when they're five. It is also shown that Naruto starts the academy at the same time as his peers. (Hinata noticed him during the entrance ceremony, and he held a rivalry with Sasuke before the Uchiha massacre [Which happened shortly after Sasuke turned 8yrs old]) In the data books it tells you all the kids' ages and birthdays. So, if we go by a traditional Japanese school, the kids on average need to be around 5yrs old before April 1st. They then go through school basically at their own pace. (Seeing at both Kakashi and Itachi skipped ahead due to being prodigies, and there's discrepancies between graduating ages for the previous gens depending on war vs peace time.) During the period of peace that Naruto grew up in, they probably made graduating criteria stricter for a couple of reasons. First, it gives kids a higher chance of survivability when they actually become Genin. Second, it helps stem the flow of new recruits, which gives veteran shinobi more time to give quality training to their apprentices.
Garra's sand clones looking like sand instead of himself doesn't have to be a weakness, if he stops his sand armour looking like himself instead of sand.
Fun fact but there was a filler episode where Naruto's shadow clones turned on him and wouldn't listen to him and they all fought over who should be the real one, as a kid this confused me so badly that I thought Naruto didn't HAVE an original body when he made shadow clones and that the "real body" was simply whichever one was standing last, but then of course against Kaguya we confirm that Naruto does have a real body since he deliberately moves the truthseeker orbs to a clone to confuse Black Zetsu and Kaguya.
Just wanted to add that shadow clone jutsu become unstable and disappear at some distance. Though the sage Chakra can extend that range. Also Kisame turned his waterclones into water prisons which is a sick way to stop opponents. However, very comprehensive video.
I like water clones placing cus hypothetically speaking since the clone reverts to water/mist and can be controlled, wouldn't it be likely with enough skill/training the user could disperse certain parts of the clone as an attack/defense justu during the fight? Depending on the users I'd put it higher imo.
Ninja also have to know the body flicker technique as a basis. Every single ninja uses it for transportation and characters like the raikage and shisui use it in active combat.
Thank you for these explanations. I never understood that the Shadow Clone technique was a forbidden jutsu and only Naruto used it. It's like the technique was made just for him
I really appreciate all you videos for some who are very lonely listening to you while you look at the screen is like having a friend around something I have been in need of for years
i love the comedic moment where Naruto off hand comments "oh you know a lot about 'my' clones" to Tobirama who incredulously says HE invented the jutsu. heehee. As varied as the clone technique became, Naruto really did become its face :)
what about konan's paper clones? They can use explosive tags and fuinjutsu on them to do things. She literally used them to suicide bomb people - and they were also easily able to stay in combat despite Aburame insects eating the chakra forming them as well as covering them entirely. More on that, they're from a resource (paper) so they're less chakra intensive than regular shadow clones and are also incredibly easy to form due to the material being practically everywhere. Plus, they don't seem to disperse on impact that easy.
I feel like when you create the shadow closes is when you decide their “path” whether it be free acting or pushing for a general purpose such as mass defense of Naruto!
When you said there was temtaion to put the rock clone lower I thought you were going to say there was temptation to put this to the test by punching a rock then a crow and see what hurts more

Nick, I look forward to and appreciate your content. Your dedication, thoroughness, and imaginative views are badass... Then you elaborate to fully explain/(dis)prove said point/s. Thank you, keep at it bub.
13:00 - Lmao he's actually using real clones, made of *actual crows*, for this? I thought the whole time that he was just using Genjutsu lol
The naruto filler with the shadow clones revolting against naruto with all of them being different parts of naruto was funny but accurate to the shadow clone lore 😂
I can definitely understand the ranking u gave the Shadow clone technique as it's a technique that in order to get the most potential benefits from it u need a rediculicy huge reserve of chakra like Naruto has it's like when Ebisu explains chakra control management and it's benefits to Naruto using the Shadow clone technique as an example.
Commented within an hour no jutsu
If only the limbo Madara had his clones in was the same limbo refered to when talking about someone passing to the purelands like when Kakashi saw his father.
It would've been cool for his father to help against madara by fighting clones in limbo.
Do a video explaining all the retcons throughout the series please!
That’s a great fucking idea tbqh
@@TheBatkrasun honestly,i would love to see a video on that
The most powerful clones are the sexy jutso clones. It worked on the homkage, Jiraya and kaguya
Yo NC, it would be dope if you did a breakdown of Rurouni Kenshin. I don't think anyone could do it better than you.
Legit watching one of your old videos while I got the notification for this one. Keep up the good work! 😁💪🏽
Some insanely powerful jutsus only showed up once (because the plot needed them) and never again. Some of those would have been great against all kinds of villains but the heroes (of course) couldn't learn these things the villains did off-screen for this one event and never again...
Itachi has a super explosive clone that you forgot about. He detonates a clone when fighting asuma and Kakashi
🙌🏻🤝🏻🫡
ive never even watched naruto but ive been binging a ton of your naruto videos. you’re the reason i enjoy your content, not because its naruto. you explain stuff so well
Wtf
21:22 I will agree that it's strong, Deidara's C4 clone and the one that almost blew up team gai/7 was pretty strong
Yo luv ur videos keep up the good work
The insect clone could be made out of poison insects or chakra eating insects or even have tracker insects that give away your position
So, crow clones are basically a flock of crows in a trenchcoat?
Could you cover these theories & their possibilities?:
The first 2 seem incredibly unlikely, the third is already canon
I think Madara's Limbo can only use physical strength, since none of his clones actually use jutsu when fighting Naruto and Sasuke
We here! Anime this month has been amazing in general. Have any of you seen Vash the Stampede?
Love your channels and thank you for all the content! These notifs are definitely a silver lining in my day.
NCHammer23 got some great vids
Love the vids i tune in every single time u upload on all channels keep it up man i love watching u💯❣️
You uploaded a video and short at the same time.... Lovely stuff
Hey, new sub here! I've been binge watching your channel after discovering it today.
Could you do a video on how Hashirama died? I like your theory videos.
"It Blew rins back out when kakashi was 13" was my favorite line of all time
5:04 the way my guy moves/twitches his whole body while talking is nuts
Lol'd at the chidori "blow(ing) Rin's back out when kakashi was 13". 20:41
Please make a space-time ninjutsu ranked and explained video.
another great vid as always, keep up the good work!!!😄
Door dash and new nick video drops while I’m delivering 😂❤❤
I didn’t know that shadow clones return the chakra back to the user when they disperse. Now it makes a little more sense as to why naruto can spam it so much without exhaustion to me
He also had his sugar daddy Kurama lending him Chakra like it was a Citibank Platinum credit card
"would you like these clones to use susanoo"
*madara said calmly*
Yo nick nice video love to see it ❤
Imthink it's pretty obvious that Madara's Limbo Clones are the best because their power is an exact copy of Madara's (meaning Madara doesn't half his Chakra with every clone he makes) and they can't be seen or sensed through conventional means however the usefulness of Shadow Clones put the, at a very close 2nd in my opinion because of their knowledge transfer ability.
I was always confused why Madara signed the wood clone jutsu different from how Hashirama did 🤨
How did naruto fail 3 years in a row but when we join him in the anime he's in the same class as sasuke who is slightly older then naruto!?
Think it's in one of the light novels. Most clans train their members at home and usually only send their kids to the academy for a year or so to graduate and maintain appearances of loyalty, exceptions being prodigies like Itachi that finished early, Shinobi Wars when they need manpower, and die hard clans like the Nara, Akimichi, Saurtobi he support the village ideology.
I guess you can enroll at any age, Kakashi said to Iruka that he was 6 years younger than Naruto when he became a chunin
I feel like you missed a very powerful one. Guren's crystal clone had to be up there with wood clones as far as durability before they explode. Plus she could change their shape like wood clones.
Water clone and sexy jutsu no memory comes back..... yeah keep the strongest.
Another great video!
Naruto arguing and fighting his shadow clones over their use is one of the best filler episodes ever.
(Hinata noticed him during the entrance ceremony, and he held a rivalry with Sasuke before the Uchiha massacre [Which happened shortly after Sasuke turned 8yrs old])
In the data books it tells you all the kids' ages and birthdays. So, if we go by a traditional Japanese school, the kids on average need to be around 5yrs old before April 1st. They then go through school basically at their own pace. (Seeing at both Kakashi and Itachi skipped ahead due to being prodigies, and there's discrepancies between graduating ages for the previous gens depending on war vs peace time.)
During the period of peace that Naruto grew up in, they probably made graduating criteria stricter for a couple of reasons.
Aoba Yamashiro also used crows as a form of attack. However, he does not uses crows as clones.
The crow clone reason was wrong. Itachi used crows cause he said using a living item would disorient the enemy more when he was training with shisui
You forgot about the second mizukage oil clone that is insanely strong and gives wood clone a run for his money
That's actually just a Water Clone. The oil is something he added in separately.
Love your vin nick keep up the good work
Just wanted to add that shadow clone jutsu become unstable and disappear at some distance. Though the sage Chakra can extend that range. Also Kisame turned his waterclones into water prisons which is a sick way to stop opponents. However, very comprehensive video.
I mean, crow clones are Hella cool considering they can regroup after dispersing. I imagine insect clones work the same.
I thought Itachi's Crow clones were just genjutsu
I like water clones placing cus hypothetically speaking since the clone reverts to water/mist and can be controlled, wouldn't it be likely with enough skill/training the user could disperse certain parts of the clone as an attack/defense justu during the fight? Depending on the users I'd put it higher imo.
But that's my hypothetical and my opinion.
Ninja also have to know the body flicker technique as a basis. Every single ninja uses it for transportation and characters like the raikage and shisui use it in active combat.
We definitely love your content for you NC Hammer!!!!
Thank you for these explanations. I never understood that the Shadow Clone technique was a forbidden jutsu and only Naruto used it. It's like the technique was made just for him
I really appreciate all you videos for some who are very lonely listening to you while you look at the screen is like having a friend around something I have been in need of for years
20:41 don't know if that's the best way to word that lmao
God I would love a hunter x hunter level explanation of how jutsus work in naruto but masashi kishimoto just does not give a fuck
i love the comedic moment where Naruto off hand comments "oh you know a lot about 'my' clones" to Tobirama who incredulously says HE invented the jutsu. heehee. As varied as the clone technique became, Naruto really did become its face :)
What about the significant impact the clone produces, if it throws a hard enough hit wouldn’t it just take itself out?
what about konan's paper clones? They can use explosive tags and fuinjutsu on them to do things.
She literally used them to suicide bomb people - and they were also easily able to stay in combat despite Aburame insects eating the chakra forming them as well as covering them entirely.
More on that, they're from a resource (paper) so they're less chakra intensive than regular shadow clones and are also incredibly easy to form due to the material being practically everywhere.
Plus, they don't seem to disperse on impact that easy.
I appreciate all these videos. Also just learned you’re a biochemist?!!
Damn man, can we have some swag too?..😂😅
I feel like when you create the shadow closes is when you decide their “path” whether it be free acting or pushing for a general purpose such as mass defense of Naruto!
Great list and ranking. Didn’t madara get killed because of a wood clone? Guess he didn’t see that coming.❤
"I licked a battery in middle school, and I still feel it sometimes" lmaoooo
Idk why but I’ve always been deathly in love with limbo. Just always thought it was the best jutsu!
What about itachi’s explosion clone or is that only in the games I can’t remember
When you said there was temtaion to put the rock clone lower I thought you were going to say there was temptation to put this to the test by punching a rock then a crow and see what hurts more
havent watched the video yet, but this would be my guest to the winner " Limbo Clone " mainly for the reason that its in a diffrent relm and you can only sense if youre a sage and see if your have the rinnegan
A lava clone ,Iron clone and gold dust clone would be cool to see .
Facts I enjoy the energy in the videos
How did naruto fail the ninja academy 3 times and yet has had the same classmates all the time.
Cuz we see in flashbacks that naruto has had everyone in the konoha 12 in his class except for Rock Lee, Neji and Tenten.
