My name's Paige and I am in my second year studying Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge. I am a member of Jesus College and make regular vlogs of my day to day life at uni, including lectures, supervisions, and social activities.

I enjoy listening to your blog! It takes me back to my university days (Cornell), when I studied engineering and physical sciences. (So I can relate to what you're going through course-wise more directly than some of your other viewers.) But more importantly, I think that you have a great attitude about balancing course work with sports and other activities. Despite the difficulty of your chosen curriculum, you are a good example to anyone of how to have a well-rounded 'uni' experience. I hope that you get millions of viewers, particularly high school students in the U.S., because you are an excellent role model. Cheers!
I enjoy you're vlog so much! Very inspiring to me even as an adult professional it reminds me that even a career is an education and at times it takes extra effort and to study up on applicable subject matter. I've been more intentional about reading articles and material about my field. (And the importance of self care in the form of coffee breaks and fresh air!)

Trek to the library is 5mins? Mine is 25. Once went and left straight away because it was absolutely packed. Literally have to get there before 8 to get a decent seat

Entering 3rd year law soon. I just had a similar conversation with my sister: "Am I learning anything? I feel like I know nothing..." Academic life is very different from the real world. You might use a smidgen of what you learnt and find that picking up knowledge as you go along your career path takes precedence over what you learnt in school. Legally, I find developing critical reasoning skills overshadows all else - the ability to make an argument for or against. Remembering case law isn't important at all if you don't know how to use it :) I think of university as a "pre-job practical" where tests, assignments, essays etc. are obstacles used to determine if this is the field for you. Ultimate question-do you love what you study even though it's stressful/annoying/something else? Love for your subject keeps your interested even when sh*t hits the fan.

Hi, I’m going to lots of uni open days at the moment and I’ll be going to oxford in a couple of weeks. Just wondering whether there was something that made Cambridge click for or had you always liked the look of it? Also, is there anything you don’t like about Oxbridge that other universities do better? (Oxbridge stands out as quite different from the majority of other unis). Good luck with exams!
Cambridge is a beautiful city, the teaching system and quality is amazing, and they really look after us well - meals made for us in cafeteria and also have a cleaner! I haven't experienced any other universities so I can't really comment on how they compare but I'm loving Cambridge :) I guess the only drawback is that it can be a bit stressful at times, and the workload is not to be underestimated! In my opinion it's all worth it though, the good times outweigh the bad and I'm learning so much

She's a go getter for sure, but as a US person I find the accent funny, like when she says ''so", it almost sounds "sew". Just different cultures, and my kin's from England way back. Us Americans say "o" when necessary. Just find the accents interesting, cheers.

Hey Paige can u answer me pls. I am confused between nat sci and mathematics course which shall I take. I am seriously considering about coming to cam. I just love phy and maths and not any other Sub. Please give me some advice. Not a rhetorical question
Maths with physics then you can choose after 1st year!! (you do 75% maths tripos + the 25% phys which natscis do too). If you wanna do theoretical physics though might as well go straight maths since you have the option to do all the core areas of Physics as part of the maths tripos albiet via a more rigorous and well, mathematical framework.

Usually July and August are off, and parts of June and/or September depending on where you are studying
