DJI Mini 2 - 4th of July weekend at Pirate Cove in Needles, CA - 2022

- From the 1st to the 4th of July, Independence Day, 2022 - God Bless America!, we spent an amazing weekend at the Pirate Cove Resort in Needles California for our 5th wedding anniversary (I love you Jaymie!). On Saturday, we motored down to Lake Havasu, went through the channel, passed under the London Bridge, went around the island and then back up to Pirate Cove afterwards - What a fun & great day that was! The section of the Colorado River with the tall red rock cliffs was my favorite section, so damn beautiful! The following day, Sunday, we attempted to motor up the river to Laughlin and got really close, but our trip was cut short by a lack of gasoline and the knowledge of nearby stations to fill up, so we turned around to avoid getting stranded on the river; nonetheless, another good day!
Total estimated mileage motored up & down the river is 120 miles.

And to think 10 years ago we would go there to escape the crowds of the channel in Havasu, now its just another cluster fuck. There would be a 100 yds between boaters on the beach, now look at it, you can have it
