- Trials of the helicopter-launched Nag Missile (Helina) conducted in Odisha. Now named as 'Dhruvastra', its trials were conducted on July 15 & 16. Trails were conducted without a helicopter in direct and top attack mode. Dhruvastra is a third generation fire and forget class anti-tank guided missile. Watch the full video for more.

Today only we were talking about it a d they have done it when is it going on attack helicopters.
Can someone explain what is going on with 2nd missile which went on flying low and contacted the ground twice or thrice before hitting the target? Was it intended to narrow down to 1-2 feet high to escape tracking?
Anti tank missile it does top attack because of thin armour on top of tank it collided many time because the missile was in tested phase and the warhead was not put in missile so no explosion due to shear speed it continued to collide

looks like 2 tests were conducted 1 test is failed for sure and other not sure if it hit the target but impressed by the missile top attack capability. imagine this firing from chopper will have an extra range
